Closer to Hogwarts

Previously: "Only if you behave." Tom said as he lead the boy's up the stairs. "And you first need to go to bed."

Slytherin Castle

"Are you sure that you have everything?" Narcissa asked the boys in front of her.

Both Draco and Hadrian shared looks and sighed.

"Yes, mother." / "Yes, Aunt Cissa." They said simultaneously before holding back a groan when Narcissa opened her mouth to say more.

"Darling, you've been asking them the same questions for the last two hours. Let the boys be." Lucius said as he came into the room. ]

"Two hours?!" Many people said, shocked.

"Wait, is that why you two hate it when people ask you questions?" A student asked. He was very quick to make connections. But he was confused when his friend next to him raised an eyebrow and then shook their head.

"Or when Madam Pomfrey badgers you two after a quidditch game?" Another student asked.

Draco grumbled and nodded while Hadrian sighed. "She once did it for five hours." He said, sounding a bit traumatized.

Just the thought of their parents nagging them and asking questions for five hours made all the students wince. It's amazing that Draco and Hadrian were able to stay sane, they would never be able to do it.

Lucius wrapped his arms around his wife's waist and kissed her forehead.

Draco scrunched up his nose at his parents while Hadrian laughed at the face he was making.

Both Draco and Hadrian did the same thing as their on screen counterparts.

From beside them, Daphne snorted. Her boys were always so amusing.

"I'm so glad mother and father are only co parenting." Hadrian said before he then made a face. "I can't imagine those two being together."

"Co parenting?" Lily questioned.

Hadrian raised an eyebrow, silently asking: "And? What about it?"

"Well, I'm sure they aren't very good parents if they aren't together." She started.

Hadrian rolled his eyes before saying, "You and James are together yet you're horrible parents."

Lily glared at Hadrian, angry at the accusation. "We are wonderful parents! Are those two even your biological parents?" Lily questioned, looking for ways to get back at him.

Hadrian snorted. "Those two are the only parents I recognize."

"Maybe that's good then. Your biological parents are much better without you. You would just get in the way and ruin things." Lily said with intentions to hurt.

But unexpectedly, Hadrian just laughed. "Yes, and I'm much better off without them. I hope you remember that." Hadrian told both Lily and James, to the confusion of many, before he looked back at the screen.

The other three in the room made grossed out faces at the thought of Tom and Bellatrix dating.

Many amused chuckles could be heard throughout the theater.

"Is my lovely sister done with her nagging?" Bellatrix asked as she walked into the room, Tom right behind her.

"If so, it's time to leave." He continued.

Both Bellatrix and Tom paused since the four other people in the room were giving them weird looks. "What?" They asked and the weird looks increased in intensity.

Hadrian shook his head. Shaking the mental images away. "Nothing." He replied to their question. "Let's get going." He said before he began to drag Draco to the fireplace.

Everyone in the theater was amused.

The people in hiding however were avoiding the looks that were being sent to them.

"Seriously?" He asked his followers who continued to look away.

The woman next to him just cackled. "I'm very tempted to date him just to creep everyone out."

The man sighed.

Just before boarding the train, Bellatrix handed something to Hadrian and winked. "Here's something in case you're homesick."

Hadrian looked surprised at the gift before he had smiled at her. "Thank you, mother."

Many students wondered what Hadrian was given.

Albus, and the others like him, however rolled their eyes. They did not care what the stupid death eater got, it most likely wasn't even important.

It wasn't long after Draco and Hadrian boarded the train that they heard a knock on their compartment door. The two shared looks before Draco said, "Come in."

Daphne Greengrass, looking a bit shy, poked her head in. "May I sit here with you two?" She asked.

The two blinked, surprised before nodding.

"Why were you two surprised?" Daphne asked. She had noticed it the first time but never got the chance to question it.

"Uncle Lucius -" Hadrian started, "and Uncle Tom." Draco interrupted, "Had warned us that some students, both that were our age and older, had liked starting issues." Hadrian finished.

"Mostly future and current Gryffindors." Draco said and many people nodded, even ones in other houses.

"Yes, of course."Hadrian said before he introduced himself. "Merry meet. I am Hadrian Charlus Riddle. The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black and Heir to the House of Riddle." Hadrian smiled when Daphne looked at him with a bit of fear.

Tom had made sure to tell his followers his real name and just as he suspected, once they got news of Hadrian, they told their children.

"It's a pleasure to meet you?" Hadrian said, silently asking for her to introduce herself.

That snapped Daphne out of her stupor. She was quick to bow, the sameway her father bowed tohis. Low and submissive. "Merry meet my future Lord. I am Daphne Lenora Greengrass. Heiress to The Noble and Most Ancient House of Greengrass."

Hadrian was quick to grab Daphne's hand and bring her up from her bow. "No need to bow. I told you so that you would be aware not so that you would be a servant."

A man chuckled at that, not believing that for a moment. The others must of had the same thought if their smiles were any indication.

Daphne looked at him shocked before giving him a smile and a nod. She then turned to Draco.

"Merry Meet. I am Draco Lucius Malfoy, Heir to The Noble and Most Ancient House of Malfoy." Draco said with a nod as he gave the girl a short bow and a kiss on the hand.

"What is the purpose of any of this? It's all so unnecessary." Hermione complained. She was tired of watching them do their stupid five minute long greeting.

Hermione glared when she didn't get an answer. "Why are you not explaining?" She demanded.

Blaise rolled his eyes. "Why should we? You're being rude and you only plan to judge us."

Hermione rolled her eyes and huffed.

"Excuse me?" A muggleborn Hufflepuff said, clearly nervous. "Uh what is the purpose of your greetings.. if you don't mind me asking that is." They asked and it was obvious that they were genuinely curious.

"We wouldn't mind explaining it to you." Tracy Davis said, emphasizing the word 'you'.

The purebloods snorted at her jab to Hermione.

"It's a way for purebloods to identify other purebloods and sometimes half-bloods." Pansy said.

"It's also a show of power. For them to know who ranks over who." Theo said.

"And a way for purebloods to know what they can expect from that person. For example, The Blacks are known for their painful hexes, bloody curses, and their overall insanity. The Malfoy's are known for their political knowledge, and The Greengrass family is known for their ability at charms and information gathering. " Sirius Black said.

A few people looked at him weird and he rolled his eyes. "Just because I hated my mother didn't mean that I didn't pay attention. I know almost everything that was ever in the Black Library. I just don't preach it." Sirius explained.

"More like, I don't preach all of it." Sirius thought to himself. A lot of his views have changed since he learned what Lily and James did.

Hadrian and Draco had been getting to know Daphne the entire train ride.

They were so busy having fun and talking that they didn't know that they were almost at Hogwarts until a prefect knocked on the compartment door to tell them.

"We're almost at Hogwarts, please get dressed if you haven't already." They announced before walking away.

"I didn't realize that we've been talking long." Draco said and Daphne nodded. "Neither did I." She said in agreement before turning to Hadrian. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to change."

Hadrian nodded before saying, "You don't need my permission to leave Daphne."

Daphne blinked before nodding and leaving.

Once sure that she was gone, Draco turned to Hadrian and raised an eyebrow. He knew that he knew about what he did. Hadrian just smirked and chuckled. "Let's put on our robes."

When Daphne turned to him, Hadrian smiled innocently. She sighed and shook her head but decided that she wasn't going to say anything.
