Flower 'Men'
Flower 'Men'
“I have gathered you here today because I have important business to discuss.”
The five men at the table exchange suspicious looks and raised eyebrows before turning their attention back to their oldest niece. When Victoire Weasley had something on her mind, there was no way she was gonna let it go. The privilege that has come with being the oldest of 12 grandchildren was something she greatly exploited.
“As you all know I am getting married in a few months.”
“I am not paying!” George states loudly.
“Shut up,” Victoire retorts, “this is serious.”
George's eyes widen and he holds up his hands in defeat, mumbling a ‘sorry’ while the rest of the men try to hold in laughter.
“Anyways, as I said I am getting married in a few months and want you guys to be involved in the wedding.”
“How?” Percy asked, looking visibly stressed, his legs bobbing up and down under the table, hitting it a few times.
“Percy, will you calm down? You are acting more nervous than when you got married,” Ron chuckled.
“Well I know her,” he says pointing at Victoire, “and you never know what she has in mind.”
“She has a name, Uncle Perc,” the girl crosses her arms, “and it’s nothing bad.”
“Come on Vic, spit it out,” Charlie finally demanded.
“Well as you all know I was the flower girl at all of your guys’ weddings.”
“I am married?”
“No, Uncle Charlie, but I still want to include you. So as I said I was the flower girl at your weddings and therefore was wondering if you guys would be the flower men at mine. You know, like a full circle kinda moment.”
The five men just stared at her in utter disbelief. Victoire could have sworn none of them blinked just once.
“You don’t have to do it, I just thought it would be kinda cool.”
“I AM SO DOWN!” George exclaims a little too loudly, “I am gonna be the prettiest flower girl there ever was!”
“Not if I’m there,” Harry argues back.
“Boys, boys, you guys are way too young to have the experience of what it takes to be the bestest flower girl there ever was!”
“Bestest isn’t a word,” Percy muttered.
“You’ll definitely beat the Ministry boy over here, though.”
“So you’ll do it?” Victoire asks again.
“Of course, we’ll do it!” Ron answered.
Victoire was excited to have her favourite uncles involved in her wedding. What she didn’t know, however, was that 2 months later she was going to witness four grown men in pretty pastel dresses carrying a grumpy-looking man dressed as a flower down the aisle.
