Hi, I have this idea that won’t leave me alone. As stated in the tags, I am looking for someone to be a beta, sounding board, brainstorm help and possibly a co- writer. I have ideas/plot bunnies but can’t figure how to string them together. I am also not confident in my ability to write cannon characters and I want to do them Justice. Especially Fleur and I feel that even the books did not give Fleur her true potential.
This idea starts off in the Goblet Of Fire and would possibly go past the end of the war and into the Next Generarion. It is AUish Goblet of Fire because I keep key points but also put my spin. In this version, the American school I created in high school, thus before Illvermory was revealed. The school, Salem Academy.
Salem Academy is located in the western United States, specifically California. Another twist is that each school is allowed 2 champions- co champions because of the Tournament’s danger. I have 2 primary characters and 4 secondary that all attend Salem and are friends. They are also a race of my own creation. But I won’t spoil that here. Fleur and Hermione will be paired with my 2 primary OCs. Who I pair with who is still something I am trying to work out and thus other options would be useful. This fic is meant to focus on Salem, these OCs and their relationships with Fleur and Hermione and onwards through the rest of the series and beyond. At first I wanted to give the events of Goblet of Fire through another perspective as we know what the trio endured.
