BloodCloak (Arc 1)
Summary
The Lamb has done everything thus far (minus meet the goat)… They married Narinder, they’re sibling in laws are free… And they’re adapting to the cult nicely! But… Why do they feel so bored? Could this new entity bring something new with their request?

Meeting

In another world, in another place, there lies a little cult ruled by a lamb. They sit atop their throne forged by the bones of heretics, but they are not without mercy. Despite being betrayed, they still love Narinder, the gifter of their crown. They saved the bishops that tried to put them to rest, and allowed them (somewhat) normal lives, but there was something… Off.

The Lamb was bored. Despite playing house, which in itself has its own adventures (especially since it’s an entire cult), they were bored. There was nothing new to them. But… Everything felt unfinished. Like there was more waiting for them. In the evening, when the cult went to rest, The Lamb flopped into their tent. They weren’t tired, sure, but the dream world felt like an escape of the same old routine. As they rested their head on the pillow, they couldn’t help but wonder about what would happened if… No, the thoughts were too preposterous to think. They quickly closed their eyes, and fell asleep.

They found themself in a black void. Nothing new, they would just walk until they found the green hills of their dreams… But as they continued, it was evident that no such thing would await them. “Odd… Usually there’s a grove by now…” The Lamb thought. There was something new about this… As they pondered about what was going on with their dreams tonight, they heard a deep chuckle. The Lamb quickly turned to see a cat that looked a lot like Narinder when he was still a god. But his fur was too dark, almost blending into the darkness while Narinders fur was more gray in comparison… And the clothes were different, a red cloak with tuscan red robes underneath. His long tail was adorned with a golden band on his tail. And the smallest, yet strangest difference were that his eyes were more poppy red rather than the camilla red that Narinder once had. The stranger smiled with the slyness of a snake (well, with Nushi… That wasn’t accurate). “Hello, Little Lamb~” The cats sharp teeth gave The Lamb strange chills… And yet, a strange sense of being drawn to him. “I have need for you.” The Lamb frowned, untrusting of the cat. They had heard that phrase (sort of) one too many times. “Who are you?” They question. Their gut told them that this was no dream.

The cat simply chuckled. “I’m someone who can help.” The cat flicked his tail. “And you should smile, a frown does no good for your pretty face~” The Lamb felt slightly conflicted. A part of them was screaming that they should wake up and never speak to the cat again. But another, more greedy, side to them wanted to stay and listen, to take that power for themself. “As long as you assist me, I can give you the secret of becoming powerful, more than you ever had felt before~”

The Lamb sighs, caving to their greed, and decides to listen. “What do you want?” The cat grins at The Lambs compliance. “Well, I need a very, very special cloak. Or, well, fleece, as you like to call them.” Before The Lamb could ask why the cat needed their help, he interrupted them. “Now, this c- fleece requires a very special talisman, a spell bound talisman if you will.” The cats face turned into a frown and muttered something they couldn’t hear, before regaining his grin. “If you find the talisman for me, I will help you get out of that boring cycle you’ve subjected yourself to, and make you stronger. What do you say, little lamb~?” He reaches his hand out, waiting for a handshake to seal the deal.

“… Deal.” The Lamb reaches out, and shakes his hand.
