Chapter One
Harry was on the train to Hogwarts for his fifth year. He was sitting with his friends Ron and Hermione, they were just chatting about what they did over the summer when a knock on the door was heard. Hermione opened the door and invited the strangers in. “Hello sorry to disturb you guys but one of my friend decided that we needed to make new friends before we arrived at Hogwarts. Would it be possible to sit here.” The blond stranger spoke with a strange mix of Texas American, and Greek accent.
“Sure take a seat we’re just talking about summer stuff anyway.” Ron said eyeing the strangers with curiosity.
“Thanks I’m Will, Will Solace, and this emo boy is Nico Di Angelo.” Will said while taking the seat next to Hermione while Nico sat next to Ron.
“Pleasure to meet you Will, Nico my names Hermione Granger, this boy here is Ronald Weasley gone by Ron, and this boy here is Harry Potter.” Hermione said gesturing at the boy’s respectfully. Harry was surprised when the two newcomers didn’t react to his name being said.
“I see well nice to meet you all were new transfer students from the US. Our other friend will make an appearance at some point later tonight.” Will said with a cheery voice.
The five started talking about what the Americans would need to know about Hogwarts since they were all in the same year.
Once the train pulled in to the station the five got off the train and started to walk to the carriages. Nico stopped when they got to the carriages as he spotted the Thestrals. He walked up to them and started to stroke them Will following suit. Ron and Hermione were confused as they saw them petting the air but Harry was curious about what creatures they were. Before Harry could ask Nico went and got in to one of the carriages coursing the trio to just follow him will jumping on last. Harry could always ask later.
Time skip to the great hall
Will and Nico was standing with the first years causing them to stand out and people whispered about who they are. Nico just ignored the whispers looking at the head table looking at a very familiar cocky grin. Will was looking at the different houses and if someone met his eyes he would smile at them kindly.
“Nico Di Angelo” Nico’s name was called and a hat was placed on his head. A voice spoke clearly for the hole hall could hear. “My my what a lot of information in your little head Bravery, helping others, Hard work, planning ahead, and wit, Ambition, cunningness, and resourcefulness. well this is tough, I’m going to throw you to… Gryffindor.” The red table cheered and Nico sat next to Ron which he’ll regret soon. “Will Solace” Will’s name was called out and a hat was placed on his head like it did with Nico. The same voice spoke again. “What do we have here, another information gold mine well I will look at your most pressing traits helping others, chivalry, Hard work, patience, knowledge, and resourcefulness. Mmm you could go in to any house but it would be best for you to go to… Hufflepuff.” Will went to sit at the Hufflepuff table.
When the sorting was over the headmaster gave a speech which was interrupted by a pink toad chirping on about some bullshit propaganda which no one was listening to. Satisfied with her speech she sat down and some clapping happened. “Thank you for that wonderful speech Dolores, now I don’t normally do this but Mr Jackson do you have anything to say.”
The entire hall groaned thinking there would be a repeat oh how wrong they were. An attractive man in his late teens stood up where the DADA teacher sat. “Why thank you Alvis, can I call you that, im going to anyway, greeting kids my name is Percy Jackson and I’ll be teaching you all mythology and Defence against the dark arts. Now listen up my lessons will be a mixture of magic physical exercises and theory so I expect you all to come prepared with gym clothes textbooks and of course your wands.” He gave a smile that caused some girls, boys and those who don’t subscribe to gender to faint. “I look forward to our time together this year and I do hope you all drop by for good heart felt talks, of course this is applied to students and teachers alike.” He smiled at the teachers as well and sat down ready to eat.
The hall was filled with enthusiastic applause a huge difference compared to the previous applause.
