Chapter 9

George stared, mouth gaping.
Percy stared back, but rather than a face of shock, panic reined over his features.

They stood for a few moments, stuck in an odd stalemate. Neither one knowing what to say.
Luckily, Oliver was there.
"Hi George"
George turned to him with a stutter, "H-hi"

"Daddy what's going on?"
Nat patted Percy's shoulder, "Daddy?"

Oliver needed to do something, what? he didn't know. But he did know that he couldn't leave Percy alone right now but at the same time he couldn't leave the kids. He took Nat into his own arms and stroked her back. They couldn't stand outside for much longer so he decided to just push it, worse case they'd all have to apparate back home which wouldn't be too bad hopefully.

"Hey, Bill in there?"
"Y-yeah."

Miraculously that was the moment Ginny came to the door.
She looked at George, then to Percy, then back to George.
"In, everyone, right now."

Everyone just followed her orders. Piling into the living room. Oliver sat with Nat on his lap, Percy and Jesse on either side. He rubbed Percy's knee and Jesse held Nat's small hand.
George just sat across from them, staring with a slight frown.

Bill walked into the living room whistling. Before looking around and freezing.
"Oh no."
Oliver turned to Jesse, "Is it okay if you take Nat into the other room?"
Charlie tried to smile, "The tv remotes just on the side"
Jesse just turned to Percy with a worried look, Percy gave a small nod.
"Okay, come on Nat." Taking her hand. She looks around suspiciously before following Jesse.

George finally said something, "What's going on?"
This was followed by a quiet silence. Everyone's eyes on George.
"Can someone please say something. 'cause this is really freaking me out."
Percy paused before speaking, "Where do you want to start?"
"W-what do you mean?"
"If we're gonna talk about this, we're going to talk about a lot of shit. So, where'd you want to start?"

George had always known Percy to be blunt and honest, but the way he said it just made him more confused.
"I don't know. Just bloody tell me why those kids called both of you dad!?"

Percy's eyes were piercing and he just decided to go for it. "Those are our kids George."

Once again, he just stared at Percy. Unable to form a sentence,
"I-I'm sorry what?!"

"Me and Oliver are married and those were our kids."
"WHAT?!"
He paused.
"You have got to be kidding me."
George was once again met with silence.

"Are you trying to tell me, that you.", he raised his voice, "My bloody recluse of a brother! Got freaking married??!! To Oliver fucking Woods, Without telling a singe soul???!!" He started to laugh, "Oh no, not just that. You have two bleedin kids!!!??? How old are they?? Seriously how long has this been going on??!!!"

"Calm the hell down George." Bill decided enough was enough.
"I know this is new but there are kids is this house, you can't go yelling swears at the top of your longs"

George got up, "And you!! You two knew didn't you?! Am I the last person to know?"

"Will you sit down?!!"
The Weasleys in the room turned their heads towards Percy. None of them had ever heard Percy yell before.
"You can ask questions, of course you bloody can. But don't yell at me George. Don't yell at me for keeping stuff from you when I know for a damn fact that you'd take the piss out of me if I'd ever said anything."

George sat down. Staring at Percy with a face of inner turmoil.
Oliver gave Percy a small smile and rubbed circles into his back.

"I'm sorry. For everything." George said, his voice small.
"I know... And I'm trying to forgive you."
George just nodded. "Can I ask you some questions?"
"Sure."
He looked awkwardly at Oliver and back to Percy, "So how long?"
Oliver smiled, "Dating since sixth year, married in 1999."
"How old are they?" George said, glancing at the door the kids had left through.
"Nat is six, Jesse is fourteen, then our oldest, Kayla, was out with her friends tonight and she's sixteen"

"Really? Wow that's... wow"
George paused, "I'm not the only reason you didn't tell anyone, am I?"

"No... Mum and dad aren't really, well lets just say accepting. I knew it would get out if I said anything, so I didn't."
"Ah. You know I love you right?"
"I know George. I know."
