Harry Pov
Him and Draco were now back at their room in the orphanage. Harry and Draco’s new owl was currently on Harry’s arm. Night was laying with Draco on his bed. Royal and Hope were playing together on the floor. Harry was currently looking at a book and looking for good names for their new owl.
“Hey Draco, what about Hedwig?” Harry asked him. Draco looked up from his book and said, “Does she like the name?” “What do you think Hedwig?” Harry asked the owl. The owl made sounds of agreement. “Well it looks like Hedwig it is,” Harry said. Hedwig hooted in agreement.
Just then Jack and Kai entered their room. “We heard you guys got an owl from the other kids,” Jack said, “But we could believe it!” “Yeah,” Kia said. “Well it is true,” Draco said, “How was your guy’s day?” “Why are you guys asking us that!?” Kia exclaimed, “You guys are going to a private school in about a month!” “A school which allows pet owls!” Jack finished.
Harry nodded and said, “But will you guys be ok when we're gone?” “Yeah we will,” Jack said, “Mrs and Mr. Weston has nothing on us.” “Please try to stay out of trouble,” Draco said, “We don’t want any letters sent by Mr. Glaze that says you two blew up a school bathroom or something.”
“You guys can also write to us whenever we are at school,” Harry said, “We will write to you guys too.” “Yeah, but I haven’t even been to this school,” Kia said, “And I might not have heard of many exclusive schools, but me and Jack are planning to look tomorrow.” Jack nodded and said, “Yeah we don’t want you guys to be kidnapped or something.”
Harry said, “Guys you don’t need to worry so much.” Draco said, “Yeah, Harry’s parents went to school before they died. And the person who informed us even knew them.” “How do you know they're telling the truth?” Kia asked. “Well if we don’t come back next summer and we don’t send a you guys a letter informing you why,” Draco said, “Go to Mr. Glaze and you guys can tell the whole world why.”
The eight year olds finally agreed to let us go to Hogwarts. Mrs. Weston finally came into the room. “JACK! KIA! IN YOUR ROOM NOW!” She screeched. The two ran out of our room. She then turned to us. “I don’t know how you guys got into an exclusive school,” She said, “But I care as long as you guys stay out of my hair for an entire school year.”
She then turned to exit and said, “Now go to sleep!” She left the room and Royal ran towards Draco and Hope came to me. Hedwig went to her perch. Night stayed on Draco’s bed. “Good night Harry,” Draco said. “Good night Draco,” Harry said.
