Harry Potter and Ginny's Love
Harry looked at Ginny as they stood there after the war. Fred was gone and Ginny was sobbing over his body. They walked over. "Gin..." They held out their arms.
Ginny clung to them and sobbed. "I'm so sorry."
"Gin why are you apologizing, you don't have a reason to. You are mourning the loss of someone you love and I understand that. I loved Fred like a brother and I am so sorry that he is gone but there is nothing we could have done."
She nodded and cuddled up, looking into their eyes. "Could we go home?" She asked softly, smiling weakly as they nodded and took her home, apparating to 12 Grimmauld Place. Harry brought her inside and up to the room he'd claimed as his. He watched as Remus and Sirius laid down Teddy in his crib. They nodded to him and he smiled at them before laying with her. She kissed him and felt safe. Harry kissed back. Did he finally fix his straightness? Was he straight? Please tell him he's straight. He spent the next hour making her feel safe and loved and Sirius and Remus let them have space.
Harry and Ginny woke up to Ron's voice in another room. "How could they hide this from me? I love them both so much, I wouldn't care if they were in love. As long as they were happy!"
Ginny looked at Harry and kissed him. "I love you." She whispered to him.
"I love you too." And he thought he did. He should have at least. Right? Did he love her?
Yeah, he did.
Harry looked at Ginny from his spot next to Ron. It was Ron and Hermione's wedding and the couple was saying their vows. Ginny could see he loved her. But she knew he wasn't always in love with her like he claimed. He wasn't straight. She knew this. They always gossip about famous men and how attractive they are, how could she not figure it out before him?
"But why?" Harry asked hours later, Ginny handing him back the ring he gave her after they got together.
"Because you aren't in love with me. You're not straight. And I want you to accept that. Okay?" Harry was shocked but he nodded, still trying to understand her as she walked away. She was right. He wasn't in love with her. Not now. But he knew who he was in love with. And it was dangerous.
