Harry Potter and the Bookworm

Harry looked at Hermione as she came down from her and Ginny's shared room. She was pretty and Ron still hadn't worked up the courage to tell her he liked her. They decided to give it a shot, figuring Ron wouldn't hate them for it.

Hermione sat down next to Harry and nestled up some. "Tired." She mumbled into their shoulder. Harry ran a hand through her hair and then helped her pull it back into a ponytail. "Thank you, Harry. What's for breakfast?" She asked softly.

"Eggs, toast, bacon, and pancakes. I learned to make food the muggle way." Molly smiled. "I would make you more things but I have too many kids in this house. The tea is being made. Magically."

Hermione nodded and glanced at Harry. "Can I tell you about the book I finished reading last night?"

Harry nodded. "Of course 'Mione, I would love to hear about it. If you love it, it must be good."

"Oh, it was!" Ginny beamed. "She read it to me while I did some drawing. I didn't stay awake but if the book ended as good as I heard most of it, then it's definitely amazing." She smiled up at them.

"Awesome. Tell me about it." They kissed her cheek and she reddened.

"Well it's called Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif and it's about this boy named Percy Jackson. His father is Poseidon and he's what's called a demi-god, oh you have to read it Harry it is so good!" She spoke happily.

Harry smiled softly at her and nodded. "Give me the book and I'll read it this week."

Hermione nodded as she looked at Harry. "Of course, but let's eat right now." She spoke, getting up and going to get a plate of food. Harry went behind her and they both got their plates. Everyone sat down and discussed what they were planning to do that day.

"I was going to have a simple day, just reading and such. I was going to go outside to read." Hermione smiled.

"I'll sit outside with you, we can read our books together." Harry smiled and they both focused on each other while they ate.

Harry and Hermione sat outside under one of the trees in the garden, reading their respective books. Harry looked at Hermione and then slowly put their hand on her thigh, making her look over.

"Harry, what is it? Something wrong?"

"I just..." They looked at her and blushed. "I want to try and be with you. I like you a lot and want you to know that. Do you want to try a relationship?"

Hermione smiled. "Harry, do you think I could 'fix' you?" They nodded. "I won't fix you but I would like to try a relationship even though we are not as close as a couple could be." Hermione moved into their lap and they held her close.

"Hermione tell me to stop if you want me to." They kiss her cheek and then her lips.

"I won't." She smiled more.

Hermione looked at Harry. "I do love you but...not like this." Hermione gave Harry their shirt back. "This summer wasn't a mistake but I cannot fix what isn't broken. You will realize eventually how much you are worth."
