Chapter Fjórir

After being discharged from the hospital wing, Draco was attacked by a pissed Pansy. “Where in the flying pixies where are you?”
“I was in the hospital wing, but I’m fine” Draco hurried out. Pansy looked at him worried. Suddenly a voice chimed in, “he was dying Pansy, that ferret would’ve kicked the bucket if we hadn’t found him.” Pansy, whose head had been turned towards the speaker of these words swung around so fast to face him, Draco was afraid she may have whiplash. “Draco Lucius Malfoy, you tell me what happened right now, and don’t you dare skip a detail!” Draco gulped. Draco heard chuckling in the background, but he was too worried about his own life to care.

As he began to explain what had happened, Pansy whose face had been worried was now enraged. Draco wasn’t sure if he should continue, maybe he could limit the damage if you didn’t tell her they broke his ribs. That thought was immediately revoked as Pansy in a deadly calm voice asked, “what else Draco?” Ah, those guys were dead. “They broke my ribs when they were kicking me, they decided, hey let’s kick Draco hard, he deserves it.” The boy from before chimed in growling “They what?” This time Draco checked to see who it was. He found Harry Potter with furrowed brow, lips taut, and hands clenched into fists. Draco wasn’t sure who to be more afraid of, his best friend who would kill for him, or Harry Potter the guy who defeated Voldemort.

Before he could decide who to be afraid of, both went storming up the stairs toward Ravenclaw Tower. “Oh no,” was all he could say as the two marched up the staircase closest to his left. Draco wasn’t sure he wanted to follow them to the chaos. Maybe he should though since this mess was his fault. Slowly but surely, he made his way up the staircase after them. On his way up he debated the possibilities. The Duo might have broken into the Ravenclaw tower to find the boys who beat him up, though it was a mystery to him why Potter was so mad on his behalf. Not like Draco felt he had done anything to deserve it.

Soon banshee screams or heard up and down the corridor signaling that Pansy How to either she had fully broken in or she hadn’t, and she was losing it. Either was a dreadful scenario. He stopped his assent waiting for a sign that pansy had gotten in or was about to kill someone. The hall grew quieter, and the banshee screams could barely be heard anymore. She had successfully broken in.

Draco began to climb the stairs again, only one more flight to go until he reached Ravenclaw tower. The suspense was killing him, and all of his instincts were telling him to run. Despite that, he kept moving one stair at a time. After climbing to the last step, he peeked into a gaping hole in the side of the wall. Clearly Pansy’s work. It was slightly surprising though, wondering how the two had successfully broken the wall inside of a magic castle. There had to be measures taken against such destruction, right, right? Through the space in the wall, Draco could see people standing around in the common room in terror. Some were screaming, and some were frozen, but they were all watching something happening to the left of the room. His view was blocked by a wall that hadn’t been blown to bits.

Curiosity always gets the better of him, Draco walked in to see the horror Pansy and Potter were causing. This was of course against his better judgment. None of the Ravenclaws paid his entrance any mind. Finally seeing the damage, Draco could tell why they were also terrified. Harry and Pansy magically tied the boys up and took turns throwing punches and shooting minor Harming spells out to the boys. All of them were spotted in purple bruises, however, the only visible blood was nosebleeds. Well, they slowly tortured the boys, they also lectured them about how Slytherins were just as much as humans as they were. And that almost killing someone isn’t OK. Or how they could be more accurately compared to what they considered to be a death eater. Harry had even said, “do you know if it weren’t for a Slytherin Voldemort would still be alive.” Draco‘s eyes widened; Potter was talking about him. How embarrassing.

It was a whole half an hour till teachers arrived and pulled the two off, so it was a struggle. Snape arrived at the scene first, looking over at the commotion and then noticing Draco. His face said everything. Snape was blaming him, like “this is your fault, isn’t it,” that was what his face said. Next and last to arrive was Flitwick Who had gotten the short end of the stick. He looked very displeased, which made Draco chuckle. With the teacher's Aid hairy and pansy or pried away from the purple splotch the boys.
