Summary
Draco Malfoy, a name nobody would be forgetting anytime soon. The same thing could be said about Harry Potter, though his name would remain a subject in History of Magic as: the hero of the wizarding world. As for Draco Malfoy, god only knows on which side of the story he'd end up fighting.

Chapter 7

"Draco?" There was no answer to the seventh call of the short but elegant name. "Harry we have to go to breakfast now." Ron said, looking at his watch. "You go, I don't care about breakfast. I don't want him to get in trouble." Hermione sighed and looked at her best friend, then over at her boyfriend. "C'mon, he'll be okay." Ron shook his head in disbelief and walked off to the great hall. How could his best friend ever fall for that stuck up arrogant son of a bitch? "Draco!" Harry knocked on the door, each knock a little harder than the previous one. You do know you're a wizard right? His mind said in Draco's voice. "Alohomora." And to the chosen ones surprise, the door actually opened. "Draco?" He opened the curtains a little to let in some more light, and let out a soft sigh when he saw the young man in his bed, asleep. Clutching a pillow as if his life depended on it, face scrunched up and breathing fast. "You're never free of your demons, are you?" Harry softly said, sitting down on the edge of the bed and looking at his classmate. Even though he looked like he was in pain, he still looked beautiful. It made Harry sigh. "I wish you knew how much I'd love to help you through all of your battles." He softly spoke, deciding to enjoy only one more moment of his sinful staring and invading of privacy, before he woke up the godlike young man in front of him. "Draco You're missing breakfast." He softly said, but the other boy didn't wake up. Harry looked down at his hands and gently rested his right one on Draco's hip. Deciding on not touching his naked shoulder, but going for the covered skin instead. "Stup-." Harry yelped and jumped back at the sudden wand that was aimed right at his heart. Draco sat up, panting and confused. "Potter?" Harry tried to calm his heart while trying so hard not to stare at the exposed skin. In his fright, Draco shot up and made the blanket fall on his lap, exposing his entire upper body. Fuck he was gorgeous. "Sorry- oh my god." It's only when he tried to look away that he noticed the scars. "Oh my god." And it's then that he noticed that one of the scars came from his wand. "Sectumsempra..." He softly whispered while following the zig-zagged lines across the pale skin. Down to his hips, going under the blanket. "I nearly killed you." Why Draco didn't say a word was beyond him. He would've expected a ton of cussing and threats, but not silence. "You like the view?" Harry's eyes shot up to the grey ones that belonged to the body he was staring at. "I'm sorry." Hurt flashed over his eyes, he shouldn't have ever used a spell he didn't know the outcome of. "I shouldn't have-." "It is what it is, Potter." "Would you please just let me apologise? I hate that I scarred you, permanently." Draco chuckled lowly and shook his head. "You think I could forget the effects of that spell even if it didn't leave a scar?" Harry was shocked, almost drowning in guilt, his heart rate picking up every second. "No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have cast it. I-." Draco shook his head again, noticing the guilt in Harrys eyes. "It happened, it's whatever. We all made mistakes. Please tell me what the hell you're doing in my room?" Harry nodded and looked out of the window. "We're going to be late for class. We have about ten minutes left." Draco frowned. "Oh fuck, I forgot to set my alarm- and you're in my room so I take it I didn't set my wards either. Good job Malfoy." He said, the last bit mumbling to himself. "Okay, I'll see you in class. Thank you." Harry shook his head. "If you'll get in trouble, so will I. It's no use leaving now anyway. We have herbology. I'll never make it to the greenhouses in time." Draco frowned at that. He'll be late. He'll get in trouble for being late. He can't get in trouble. He can't disapparate on school premises. Fuck. "Draco? Hey, hey what's wrong? Are you okay? What's happening?" Harry ran back over to the side of the bed and looked at the panicked look on Draco's face. His breathing quickened while he gripped the sheets and stared at his mark. "Draco? Talk to me. Please, let me help you. What's wrong?" He rests his hand on the pale shoulder and frowns when he feels that it's icey cold. "Draco!" That seemed to snap him out of his thoughts. "I can't get in trouble. Potter I can't get in trouble. I don't care if I have to do your homework for the rest of the year or anything at all, please don't let me get in trouble for this. Fuck, I'll pay you all I have I swear. Don't- don't let them keep her." Harry frowned at the sudden hopelessness in Draco's voice. "What are you talking about, Draco?" "My mother, they'll keep her in that hell- if I..." He took a deep breath before composing himself and closing his eyes for a little while. "If I want to get her out, I can't get in trouble this year, at all." Harry nodded at that and got up. "Get dressed, I'll think of an excuse okay?" Draco shot up out of bed and cast a cleaning charm on himself, since he missed his shower, before getting dressed in a top speed record. "Off we go." Harry said, handing him his herbology book, that was the first one the pile, before walking out. "Lock your door." Draco could've hit himself in the head for forgetting to lock his door. Get yourself together. He cast the spell and followed Harry down the corridors. "Mr. Potter, Mr. Malfoy, you're late." Harry rubs his belly and nods. "I'm so sorry professor, I was feeling very sick and Draco helped me. If it wasn't for me, he would've been here in time." Professor Sprout looks at Harry and then at Draco with a curt nod. "Very well, you can pair up and feed the slugs. It won't be a hard job so you can keep yourselves busy and be useful while your classmates trim the bombsais." Harry nods and takes some gloves for himself and Draco before getting the food out of the cupboard and walking over to the other side of the greenhouse. Draco sighs and looks at Harry. "Thank you, I owe you." Harry smiles and shakes his head. "It's all good. You're welcome."
