Freedom

The boat stopped abruptly at land, Lucius not giving any warning to the two and letting them stumble into each other. He stepped out of the boat with too much grace before looking around with wide eyes, his magic lashing around him checking for any threats.

'' That's not true. I'm not obsessed with treasure.''  Will said  tying the boat with blind hands before following the two further into the cave

'' Shut up before I drown you both and bring you back to life.'' Lucius warned them before walking ahead

'' Can he do that?'' Will whispered fervently , walking just a little more closer to Jack

'' Want to find out?'' Jack asked back still smirking before sneaking a hand around Will middle and tugging him forward with them

When they arrived at the point where they could see Barbossa and his crew, Jack lowered his head and added 

'' Not all treasure it's silver and gold mate.''  he said watching the boy look wide eyed at the sight in front of him.

Subtly and with years of practice, Jack found Lucius wrists, hiding them both with his friend magic.

'' Gentleman, the time has come.'' Barbossa yelled at his crew, Elizabeth being hold by a couple of his crewmates   '' Our salvation it's night. Our torment it's near an end.''  he yelled again bringing a hand up

'' Elizabeth.''  Will muttered with worry staring ahead at the pirates

'' For ten years we've been tested and tried, and each man-jack of you here, has proven his mettle a hundred times over. And a hundred times again.''  he yelled again making his crew even louder

Fools  Lucius couldn't help but thought, sensing the volatile magic around every single piece of gold around them

'' It's not just the chest. Everything in this cave it's cursed.'' Lucius whispered towards the two watching Barbossa uncover the chest and moving his fingers around the golden coins  

'' All of it?''  Jack asked more of a hiss than anything

'' All of it. The coins are the most cursed but the things around the cave are just the same if not on a smaller scale.''  Lucius said frowning when Jack just hummed at his side

'' I'm feeling real lucky mate.'' Jack said making Lucius snort amused

'' You always do.''  

'' -save for this.''  the two captains were fast enough to catch Will before he could have throw himself to death at the pirates

'' Not yet.''  Lucius said holding him down, even though the three of them couldn't be seen if stuck together, it wasn't something that Will needed to know about

'' We wait for the opportune moment.'' Jack whispered at the boy, holding his other arm tightly before locking eyes with Lucius nodding at him. He let go of Lucius wrist, letting Will follow him down to be closer to the mad pirates. 

'' When's that? When's the greatest profit to you?''  Will said frustrated stopping behind Jack

Somehow, for a brief moment, Jack mind was flooded with old memories, of stealing anything that was pretty or valuable looking and of searching treasures that no one wanted to look at.

'' Profit it's everywhere.''  Lucius told him one time when they were still cabin boys and thin as a toothpick   '' You just need to know how to use it.'' even at that time, his eyes were still too bright to be human 

'' May I ask you something?''  Jack said without an ounce of sarcasm  '' Have I ever given you reason not to trust me?''  he asked going too close for comfort towards Will  '' Do us a favor. I know it's difficult for you but stay here.'' he added pointing at the place the boy was on    '' And try not to do anything stupid.'' he said between clenched teeth

Jack left before Will could say anything more, last he would make him say the truth and destroy any form of a plan he had.

Lucius turned his shoulder, enough so Jack could stop by his side, guiding his magic to cover them both.

'' Were is Will?''  Lucius asked arching an eyebrow watching Jack avoid his gaze

'' Standing still like a good boy.''  Jack said smirking when Lucius huffed at him before both of them looked ahead at the mass of craziness and listening to Barbossa speech

''- eat a whole bushel of apples.''  both of them grimaced at Barbossa innuendo, narrowing their eyes when the cursed pirate griped the girl nape, holding her head down even further

'' Did you get them all?''  Jack asked his eyes not moving from Barbossa 

'' Where would be the fun in that?'' Lucius said smirking widely before lifting his nose arrogantly   '' I got enough.'' he said before winking and letting Jack go, parting ways for their plan

'' Slippery snake.''

Watching him go Jack smiled before looking back with a grimace at the chanting crowd.

'' Here comes Jack Sparrow.''  he whispered to himself before twitching when he felt a presence behind him  '' Lucy?''  he said confused just to be greeted by wood and dizziness. He closed his eyes nonetheless, listening. It wasn't the first time he got hit in the head after all.

'' Sorry Jack. I'm not going to be your leverage.'' Will voice was heard and Jack almost let himself grin stupidly

Fuck  he thought closing his eyes for a little nap

While Jack was driving Will away, Lucius worked on a different part of their plan. Well it wasn't a plan know by both of them but they worked just fine this long so how worse can it get now.

He breathed slowly before taking a piece of gold in his hand, rolling it around his fingers watching the small portion of cursed magic wash away when comparing with his. 

'' Interesting.''  he said quietly before lowering himself on the ground, touching the earth with his fingertips. Narrowing his eyes in concentration, he guided his magic in the earth bellow them, covering the water with a sheen of magic and watching it bubble slightly before settling back down.

After that come the hard part that even now, after so many years was giving Lucius awful headaches making him grit his teeth. He guided his magic again, this time above the cursed gold around the cave before sticking it to a huge number of the cursed crew. He hold the treads carefully, smiling when a small lighting begin to play around his knuckles before wrapping them around his fingers, walking forward for a better view.

It was time for Jack part after all.

'' Where's his child?!'' Barbossa said almost desperately when Elizabeth blood did not work against the curse  '' The child in hose veins falls the blood of William Turner? Where?!''   angry when Elizabeth did not utter a word just to get smacked in the face and throw to the side, almost hitting the water

Lucius frowned when he sensed something or more likely someone in the water before realizating that it was Will. 

Couldn't stay still did you?   Lucius thought not minding him any further, waiting

'' You brough us here for nothing!'' the crew begin screaming angrily and Lucius couldn't help but laugh

'' This is sight of mutiny.''  he singed softly obviously pleasant with the outcome. He continued humming softly, his own song while letting the chaos grown around him 

'' The medallion! She has taken it! Go after her ye feckless pack of ingrates!''  Barbossa screamed making the crew take action by running around, searching. Lucius frowned when after all this time Jack still didn't show up. Looking around and checking the treads one more time, he get up from his spot and walked like a ghost between the sailors, searching his own trouble.

'' Calypso give me strength.''  Lucius muttered at the sight in front of him

'' Parlinny. Parnsip, Parsley. Par-''   

'' It's Parley mate.''  Lucius said suddenly appearing behind Jack, smiling when the ones pointing their guns at them flinched, taking a step back  '' It's parley.''  he repeated 

'' That's the one! Parley!''  Jack said loudly so all could hear

'' Parley?'' one of them, the sailors in front of Jack, hissed between clenched teeth   '' Damn to the depths whatever muttonhead thought up parley.''

'' Thank the Goddess it wasn't Jack.'' Lucius said smiling pleasantly at the frozen sailors in front of him who were retreating slowly

'' That would be the French.'' Jack butted in swaying just the tinniest bit   '' It even feels like France!''   he said turning around at Lucius trying to blabber something in French to Lucius. 

And the worst part?

He wasn't even drunk. Lucius kind of wished he was.

It come to the point where the crew of cursed pirates made a path for them till they arrived in front of a angry and ruffled Barbossa.

'' How in the blazes did you two get off that island?'' he asked with an obvious grimace when Jack leaned on Lucius shoulder, waving at him with mirth

'' When you marooned us on that godforsaken spit of land, you forgot one very important thing mate.''  Jack said leaning even further into Lucius, before taking a hold on the silver head shoulders   '' We are Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Lucius.'' he said smiling pleasantly and a little 'drunk'.

'' I won't be making that mistake again.'' he said before adding louder   '' Gents you all remember Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain No-Name Lucius.''  he said spitting at them   '' Kill them.''  he said making all the sailors draw their guns.

Neither of them were worried though, Lucius feeling the treads around his fingers and Jack having so much luck that even if he died he wouldn't end up dead for long. But at the end they had something that Barbossa was desperate to have.

'' The girl blood didn't work, did it?''  Lucius asked smirking when Barbossa turned sharply at them

'' You know whose blood we need.''  he said pointing at the two smirking pirates

'' Yes we do.''  they said at the same time, the contrast between their appearances more obvious
