They had only been married for a month, but it didn’t even feel like a marriage. They only slept in the same bed on their honeymoon. She was hiding a secret, should she tell her husband or would that distant them even more? Every night she cried herself to sleep wishing her husband would just sleep in the same as her or even say her name just once.
What had happened? What had changed?
He always locked his self in the drawing room with books scattered all over the place. He looked down at his wedding band wondering what he had gotten his self into. Marrying a Mud-blood was something that was considered bad for his reputation.
A Malfoy marrying a Mud-blood. What would Father think? Well actually what did he have to say about the matter? Lucius Malfoy hated the idea of his son marrying the filthy mudblood,he didn’t even go to his own son’s wedding. Narcissa Malfoy did go to the wedding, she found it sweet but deep down she didn’t want her son marrying her
Had they outgrown each other? Or had they just realized that things could change?. The brunette haired female dressed in a long light pink strapless dress; she knocked on the drawing room door without hearing a response she pushed open the door looking at her husband “Draco?” she whispered.
The male she had called Draco slowly looked up at his wife “Hermione?” he seemed a bit startled that his wife was in the room he had forbid her to be in. The female he had just called Hermione stepped over to her husband moving a few books to sit down next to him on the leather book covered sofa “Draco, I’m...” she took a deep breath to try to make her words come out right “Pregnant”
Draco seemed a little confused Pregnant? Was it his? Of course it was, Hermione wasn’t stupid enough to cheat on Draco. He rose from his seat stepping over to the window staring out into the outdoor backdrop “That’s..Good...” he said slowly.
Hermione looked down; she knew that he didn’t care. What had gotten into her Husband? Why did he not care about their child!? “Draco Malfoy!” she raised her voice, something she hadn’t done since they attended Hogwarts “I’m carrying your child, I’m your wife and your treating me like dirt!” The anger and frustration was reaching boiling point, she was now ready to vent it all out at her Husband.
Draco slowly turned to face his beloved Wife “Granger, I ...” before he could finish his sentence Hermione had cut him off “GRANGER! What happened to calling me Mrs Malfoy!? What happened to calling me Babe!? What Happened to calling me Hermione!? Where’s the Draco I fall in love with!? The bad boy who didn’t care about anyone else!” She wasn’t going to let Draco talk “You need to realise that you don’t need to please anyone like you used to” she took a deep breath but before she could speak again Draco had cut her off
He stepped over to Hermione reaching for her hands but she had just pulled away and stepped back away from him “Hermione, I love you..I do..It’s just” he looked down at his feet knowing what he was going to say would make him sound like an idiot “things change and ....” Hermione froze what he just said! Things Change!? “and...I just think we rushed into this too fast...”
Her eyes were starting to water listening to what her husband was saying “Draco,” she whispered letting the water fall down her cheeks “Is it because of the past?” she raised her hand wiping her cheeks “I’ve heard you are night,” Draco slowly nodded, he hated to admit it, but the past had affected him more than mud-blood being engraved in Hermione’s arm.
