Chapter 1

The last servant of Amon was beginning to panic. The Dark God had gone silent, the Hybrids had all been defeated, and the Tal’darim had become traitors to their God. There weren’t too many option that could lead to victory.

So, the servant chose the only reasonable option. They turned tail and ran as far as they could. They were chased halfway across the entire sector before they managed to shake their pursuers.

the servant found the remains of a massive Terran Battlecruiser. It would not have been noteworthy were it not for the size of the vessel and the strange symbol it prominently displayed across the bow. Deciding that there was nothing better to do, the servant accessed the ships remaining computer banks.

Unfortunately, most of the information that wasn’t corrupted was of little use. However, there was a single log entry that simply contained a set of coordinates and the name of the vessel, The Aleksander. The servant wasn’t given much time to study these coordinates for the Death Fleet warped into the system.

The servant didnt have much time to react at first. This was it, the end of the war was seemingly at hand. The servant was prepared to face their enemy for one last time.

It was at this moment that the servant remembered that they were extremely cowardly.

Deciding to not engage with the Death Fleet, the servant re-examined their options. Unfortunately, the only realistic option would be to use their small vessel to power the Aleksander and attempt to warp away. What they weren’t expecting was for the Aleksander to attempt to initiate an emergency warp jump to a set of predetermined coordinates upon reactivation.

Just as the ship was entering warp space, the Aleksander was hit by a burst of temporal energy by the Death Fleet.
