Chapter 1
Changes. No matter how much we want they always happen in our lives.
It was the start of the school year. Harry was walking calmly with Ron and Hermione when he felt someone's eyes on him. Turning around, he saw no one.
"What happened to you?" the girl asked, looking at her friend with concern.
“I feel the look on me, as if someone decided to burn a hole in my back,” the guy chuckled.
“You don’t think so,” the brunette began, but the guy interrupted her abruptly.
"Not."
"But.."
"Hermione, this shouldn't happen. Not when I'm in a lot of trouble."
Ron, who was walking to Harry's right, interrupted their quarrel.
" What are you talking about?" he asked in bewilderment. Before that, he did not listen to the conversation, twisted in his thoughts.
"Nothing," said Harry, smiling broadly. Hermione just scowled at the tall guy, and then turned away. She and Harry need to be careful what they say.
Another week has passed. Harry annoyed and walked into the library. He was looking for someone. Finding the curly top of the head, the guy went to her. Throwing his things on a chair, he sat down to the right of the girl who used to read a book and was now looking at him. Potter only made a gesture with his hand that would have been imperceptible to others, but not to her.
"I hate it when you're right," the boy began grumbling.
"And what was I right about?" the girl asked with a predatory smile, twisting her curl around her finger.
"He's trying to contact me." That was enough to make the girl abruptly stop smiling. Her face became serious, she glared at the guy who was sitting next to her.
"Now?" she whispered. "Do you know who that could be?"
She was worried about her friend. Now it was not very calm and there is no time for this.
"That's the point, no!" Harry shouted, waving his hands, "I tried my best to find out who it was. But you know I can't use my magic on him."
At the end of the monologue, he hit his head on the table. His voice sounded contrite, which was unusual for a man who always smiled and did pranks. Hermione began to gently run her hand through Harry's hair.
“Do you have any idea who this is?”
" Yes, it was easy. This is someone from our year, most likely a Slytherin," - he raised his head and looked at the girl, his face wrinkled "I hope this is not Malfoy. I'd rather jump off a cliff than mess with him."
The girl laughed softly. She looked at her best friend with sparkling eyes, she liked to see his real one - sarcastic, always grinning and just a prankster.
" That's for sure. Although I would look at you being together."
" Ugh, that's disgusting."
“Okay, okay, I was joking,” she said, laughing. But she quickly calmed down and all seriousness returned to her face - We need to find out who it is, but for now try to avoid contact. You know what, it will turn around when he touches you.
“Yes, Mom,” Harry said, rolling his eyes, after which he received a cuff on the back of the head, “That’s it, I won’t do it again!”
They laughed. Having gathered, friends calmly left the library.

A few more days passed when Harry was observed but did not show himself. These were nervous days for the guy.He tried to avoid his classmates in all sorts of ways: he was the first to leave classes, move through secret corridors, and eat mostly in the kitchen.
But here in the Potions lesson, when Harry calmly listened to music (he had headphones that were hidden by magic, but only one was stuck in his ear) and threw various ingredients into the potion. Everything was relatively good until he felt his magic stir and his gaze burn through him.
He turned abruptly and saw chocolate eyes staring at him with interest. Those eyes belonged to Theodore Nott, a calm and intelligent young Slytherin. When their eyes met, Nott smiled faintly, and Harry looked at him warily. He was a little unnerved by an innocent, at first glance, smile. He turned away from him as Snape began to chastise him. But Harry didn't hear him, he just stared at him with empty eyes, still feeling the eyes on him.
"Mr. Potter, did you even hear what I said?" the Potions Master asked irritably, looking at the guy from above.
"Yes, sir."
"Repeat what I said," Professor Snape ordered.
Harry just stared at him with his expressionless eyes and didn't say anything.
"Fine, 15 points from Gryffindor for disrespecting the professor. And Mr. Potter, detention tomorrow at 6:00 p.m."
Harry didn't answer. It wasn't until Snape turned away from him that a mischievous smile appeared on Harry's face. But remembering that he was still being watched, he quickly removed it from his face.
As soon as the bell rang, the guy quickly gathered all his things and ran out of the classroom. He went to one of the secret passages and began to wait for Hermione. She did not make us wait long and appeared in a minute.
"I won't even ask you what happened to you and Snape."
“That's right, I'll tell you how the opportunity will be,” he smirked slyly. But then he continued in a serious tone - I found him. I'll tell you who it is. Meet me in an empty classroom on the 4th floor, after lunch. Bring the Luna with you too.
" Will be done."
They parted ways. Hermione went to lunch, finding Neville along the way. Harry went to the kitchen, checking the Marauder's map to see if anyone was on the way.

Harry paced the room until Luna and Hermione appeared. The fair-haired girl smiled softly, she knew what was the matter, but did not say anything. Luna sat down in the sky blue chair they'd put up in their third year.
"Come on, Harry, go ahead," Hermione urged, crossing her arms over her chest.
This is Theodore Nott.
The curly-haired girl's eyebrows went up.
"What!? This was unexpected. I had no idea it was him at all."
"What do you know about him?"
“I go to the runes with him. He is very quiet but smart. When asked, he always answers. He is often seen reading a book. I don't know anymore," she said in confusion.
“Hermione is right for the most part, but his brainsnakes are not calm at all,” Luna interrupted, looking somewhere at the wall.
The guy just looked at them and grabbed his head. He returned to pacing the room.
" Why now? How did he know about the bond? What if he's using me?" Harry began to panic, but quickly stopped when Luna's thin, light hand touched his forearm.
“Everything will be fine, even with such brainslickers, he will treat you well,” the blonde began to soothe. She put him in her place, and she sat at his feet on the floor. Harry automatically conjured a comb and began combing her hair. This calmed him down.
He liked Luna. He met her before the beginning of the third year, when he learned everything about himself and his family.Maybe at first he thought she was a little weird, but that only drew him to her. There were long arguments about her and Hermione. But over time, both girls became friends.
Harry was braiding the girl's hair as Hermione sat down in another chair, only a delicate lilac.
"What will you do?" she asked a friend.
"I don't know, it all depends on his intentions. But it will be easier to run away from him knowing who he is."
"Running is not an option, especially when you can't escape, Harry," Luna said softly to him.
" I agree with her. You can't run away forever being in the same school as him."
"I know, I know," Harry said softly, "but I don't know what to do." Especially at a time like this. It would be better if this never happened.
The girls reassured Harry a little, promising that they would help him with this. But first they need to watch Theo a little more, and then decide what to do.

Several days have passed. Nott still didn't approach, but only occasionally threw glances at Harry. This calmed the guy down a bit. So he put it out of his head for a while, because he still has a lot of problems to solve. For example, such as Umbridge.
