That was Aquila Waters' nightly routine: striving to achieve Reality Shifting.

Tranquility. The quality or state of being tranquil; calm. Aquila liked being alone. No friends, no noises, no distractions. Just her. Nothing else.
Literature. Written works of art. Aquila filled her mind to the brim with the fantasies and adventures that lined her house. There was only her, her books, and the house. Just her. Nothing else.
Hogwarts. The school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Aquila ran through every detail of the Harry Potter works, the words dissolving into images, the images dissolving into moving scenes...
Reality shifting. Trying to live in your desired reality. This was Aquila's nightly practice.
She always felt something was missing as she delved into English Literature part time from her daily secretary job at a barristers'. She felt as if she didn't fit in. All those times when someone asked her out, she declined. When someone wanted to be her friend, she declined. Aquila's heart didn't belong to this world.
Severus Snape had took her heart and hid it away into the depths of the Wizarding World.
Aquila never found a way to retrieve it, and so buried it.
