Summer pt. 2
(Potter Manor; June 1977)
Lily purposely blinks back tears as mrs. Potter yells at the two lions. It mildly surpised lily to find the vials of memories but actually seeing the diffrent misty liquid memories didnt bother her too much. While it was unfortunate that snapes home life wasnt good, she never understood why snape told her tidbits sense she couldnt actually do anything. And while her dad had a friend that was police officer lily didnt think it was her responsibility to tell them, /they/ were the adults after all.
As mrs. Potter continues to yell at them, lily starts to get angry. Snape had told her some of the stuff she saw so what did it matter that she saw them?
Through her blurred vission the girl smiles as james and his dad finally come rushing in. Lily rushes up to him and clings to him while whispering, "Help us, please, james?"
"Whats going on, dear? Where Mr. Snape?", Mr. Potter asks. While lily frowns in anger, she was thw kne being yelled at and yet all Mr. Potter cared about was that cruel snake.
Sirius seems to voice the red-heads anger and loudly asks, "Mr. Potter, why do you only care about that fat snake when we've been yelled at by your wife?"
Lily leans away from her boyfriend and is suprised to see a surpised look on james' face. And its james that asks, "What did you guys do?"
"We just looked at some of Sniv- the gits memories, Prongs.", sirius replies nonchalantly.
"You did what?!", Mr. Potter asks, angrily.
Lily jumps slightly in surpise; the couple had been so kind to them the last 2 weeks she didnt think she be yelled at by her future in-laws.
Mrs. Potter then demands they both leave the room and she walks up to lily and james, seperates the two and whispers something to james. Suddenyl two elves appear and each take lily or sirius and lily is 'pop'ed into another room.
When the elf leaves, lily cant help but groan in frustration as she tries to flop on the bed but her stomach gets in the way. She punches the bed, it wasnt fair that she got yelled at too eventhough it had been sirius' idea.
As the weeks go by lily notices that the couple, but mrs. Potter particularly, is distant twoards her and spends alot of time with snape. It was frustrating sense lily was going to be her daughter-in-law. She tries to get close by talking about the baby but to her shock mrs. Potter doesnt always want to talk about it. She even tries to talk to lily about her favorite subject during her time at hogwarts: DA. Like snape. While lily was pretty good at DA she liked charms more which neither of the couple were good at. Lily tried to show mrs. Potter some of the spells she knew but she was severly out-classed and lilys pride took a hit, and she didnt talk to mrs. Potter for the rest of the day.
Sirius got in more trouble the rest of the mouth for using what the two had seen in the pensive against snape. While the couple couldnt punish them scolding sirius seemed to work for atleast a few days at a time.
Lily dodnt really care about sirius' summer sense her relationship with james was strained and she tried to scold snape but she wasn't able to sense the couple told their elves to "pop" her away as-soon-as her voice was raised. Unfortunately that happened alot sense the slytherin had the gall to ignore her when she talked to him. She tried to spend time with james but the teen was cold to her and sirius for what they had done; apparently seeing someones memories without their consent was illegal. Lily tried to convince james that it had been sirius' idea, but like his mother james refused to listen.
By the end of the month, more often than not, lily was left alone in her room, except for an elve to cater to her like she should be.

Sense the dicorvery of the box mrs. Potter had gifted him, for his numerious memories, Severus had tried his hardest to avoid the other teens in the home. Unfortunately the couple demanded they eat dinner together and black always took that time to insult him, lukily he did get scolded but to severus that wasnt enough. Unfortunately the couple couldnt legaly punish the black heir.
As for the potters current heir, mrs. Potter had showed him severus' childhood memories with his permission. While severus was worried the teen would make fun of him along with his best friend, the tall teen was suprised that james came and talked to him about how sorry he was that severus' home life was worst then he thought. Of course severus hated the pity james was giving him, but he was also glad that his rival/bully knew how much worse he had made his life. Severus hoped james would feel guilty.
After several weeks of letting the potters know and think about his childhood, severus let the three see some of the incidents that accord during his first year. Of course their son and surrogate son were in alot of these and after seeing each memory the couple would ask severus to leave while the couple talked with their son. Severus was hesident at first sense he was sure the couple would rug-weep things but seeing the angry look on the couples faces, and the slightly embarrassed look on his rivals, swverus agreed. Turns out james got grounded for the first time and had quiditch taken away, which caused more tension between severus and sirius but the teen didnt care. He was just glad one of them was finaly being punished in some way.
As for lily, the red head spent alot of time with mrs. Potter which made severus alittle jelious sense the two had bonded over their love of DA. Thankfuly Mrs. Potter wasnt intrested in lily and the two didnt have any hobbies in common.
By the end of the month severus ounce again went to st. Mungos and was happy to hear how the twins were doing great and developing well. Both teen were now 23 weeks along.
On the way back the couple decieded to fly back on one broom leaving severus to fly back with james. Severus was hesident, remembering his first flying lesson and the brunettes laugh ringing in his head. The teen seemed to see his discomfort and pursonaly put sticking charms on the broom before saying, "I know your not good at flying but try your best, Snape."
Severus stares, hearing the first encouragment that the boy had ever given him. Despite himself he cant help but blush, he wasnt encouraged very much unfortunately, as james helps him sit on the broom.
