The couple started with sorting the notes into piles based on subjects, only a few papers had any dates. The main subjects they filed into were potions, time travel, DADA, unforgivables, curses, legilimency and occlumency, historical records, family trees, rituals and records from the war with grindelwald. There were a few dairies but at the beginning of all of them was the same passage, “I Regulus Arcturus Black, have written these journals with all my memories dated and described in the most detailed way, including all the conversations that I don’t think will have any impact. But I write these so in the event of my death whoever gets this will know things they might not have been there for. I know my death is very likely, so please continue my research. Only then you might be able to do what no one known has. Hopefully you don’t die a terrible death like I most likely will. Good luck.” They chose not to read the journals until they look over all the rest of the research. It was quite easy to read due to the perfect handwriting. They of course focused on the time traveling subjects first, it also seemed to have the most papers. At first it was mainly about Eloise Mintumble who traveled from 1899 to 1402, she became stuck for five days but when she came back Eloise had aged five centuries. Due to her interactions in the past about twenty-five descendants had disappeared. Regulus wrote about what she did wrong and how it could have been prevented. Then theories on how to time travel safely and how to stay in the chosen time permanently. Regulus had a couple of plans that he made for different times all were extremely detailed and had different precautions for everything.
Luna could feel the clocks turning in Harry's head and knew without a doubt what he wanted to do. For she had the same thought. So she slowly ate some biscuits with tea that they had laid out, waiting for Harry to have enough gryffindor in him to look at her. So she kept looking at him until he finally looked up, all she had to do was give him a slight nod and a reassuring smile. Harry released a breath and gave one back. They both knew what they were going to do without needing to speak a single word, they were going to go back in time to save everyone. Harry got up and summoned a big white board and wrote at the top ‘Operation Lion Heart’. They had to name it after Regulus since he was the one to start what they were going to finish.
It took two weeks for them both to read all the notes, they roughly looked through the journals. Luna was very insistent on them both knowing all of the facts. First the couple had to make a plan,
1) Pick a time and find out everything that was going on around that time
2)Make identities so no one would question who the were
3)Settle into their new lives
4)Destroy the horcruxes and kill Tom
5)Kill the remaining loyal death eaters
6)Live the lives they never were able to
