Adhara just rolled her eyes sarcastically while Alys muttered to her,"I can't believe were were stuck with people like them"
Adhara mutter back, "Your telling me"
Mr. Dursley was the director of a firm called Grunnings, which madedrills. He was a big, beefy man with hardly any neck, although he did have avery large mustache. Mrs. Dursley was thin and blonde and had nearly twice theusual amount of neck, which came in very useful as she spent so much of hertime craning over garden fences, spying on the neighbors.
Lily scoffed outloud, "just the usual family I see"
It was obvious from the people around her that there was a certain disdain to her sister as well as well concealed sadness. James was the only one who noticed the sadness and wrapped his arm around her in comfort.
A lot of people in the hall scrunched up there noses and the horribly described people. They could already tell they were disgusting people.
The Dursleys had a small son called Dudley and in their opinion there was no finer boy anywhere.
At this the potter twins cackled outloud. They were snickering with asument of the absolute lies coming from this page. Dudly back then was a right spoiled mess and everybody but the dursleys noticed.
Everybody was looking at them confused while theo and daphne just sighed at this point. You know the love of their lives were absoultely crazy but whatever they loved them anyway.
Sirius pointed out, "Why are you guys laughing".
Alysum responded while snorting, "You'll see"

The Dursleys had everything they wanted, but they also had a secret, andtheir greatest fear was that somebody would discover it.
Lily resigned herself already knowing what it was while the potter twins rolled their eyes in unison.
They didn't think they could bear it if anyone found out about the Potters. Mrs. Potter was Mrs.Dursley's sister, but they hadn't met for several years; in fact, Mrs. Dursleypretended she didn't have a sister, because her sister and her good-for-nothinghusband were as unDursleyish as it was possible to be.
A cacophony of sounds rained from the gryffindor with outraged vehemence.
"Excuse me who do they think they are" The normally soft-spoken Alice Fortescue shouted
Sirius and Remus were already spitting nails because Lily and James were the most amazing pepole they knew and these disgusting human beings were just insulting them.
The twins whistled really loudly and everybody stopped screaming
"I know you are all upset but can we scream about this later" Ady asked annoyed
"Why are you not mad" A gryffindor asked
"Ignore em' they don't know half the shiz they spit out besides I already know how awesome my parent's are and even if they don't care who cares" Alysum responded
This made Lily and James smile birghtly at the twins while they just picked at their hands absentmindly smiling back.
The Dursleys shuddered to think what the neighbors would say if the Potters arrived in the street.
The marauders were already cooking up a plan to deal with them Oh they were going to rain hell the muggle way. You know for a twist of irony.
Usually lily would say something and you know stop them but she just pretened like nothing was happening.
The Dursleys knew that the Potters had two small daughters, too, but they had never even seen them. These girls were another good reason for keeping the Potters away; they didn't want Dudley mixing with children like that.
Now James was starting to get pissed,"Oh no he didn't say that about my children"
Lily backed him up, "I've only known them for a short amount of time and I know there awesome"
Theo smiled smugly at both them, he was thinking about no matter how tough they acted they still wanted some affection. He didn't know the full extent of the dursley abuse but when he finds out...
At this point When Mr. and Mrs. Dursley woke up on the dull, gray Tuesday our story starts, there was nothing about the cloudy sky outside to suggest that strange and mysterious things would soon be happening all over the country. Mr. Dursleyhummed as he picked out his most boring tie for work,
Ady gasped dramatically, "Not the tie oh heavens the most boring tie ever"
Fred then stated, "What if we just switched all his ties to be funky and funny"
Aly giggled, "Oh he would be pissed"
THe twin responded in unison, "I mean that's the point"
The marauders themseleves were whispering away as well
Daphne just rolled her eyes while theo laughed softly
and Mrs. Dursley gossiped away happily as she wrestled a screaming Dudley into his high chair.
"Ugh as per usual" Lily thought annoyed
"That gossiping little girl never went away"
the potter twins also rolled there eyes, "Some things never change"
None of them noticed a large, tawny owl flutter past the window. At half past eight, Mr. Dursley picked up his briefcase, pecked Mrs.Dursley on the cheek, and tried to kiss Dudley goodbye but missed, because Dudley was now having a tantrum and throwing his cereal at the walls."Little tyke," chortled Mr. Dursley as he left the house.
"Really is that really how they parented Dudly" Lily asked appalled
"Yeah, it gets worse" Ady replied
Aly nodded in agreement, it was going to get wayyyyy worse
Lily felt a growing dread already guessing why they were reading about her sister and her oaf of an husband.
Severus Snape looked over longingly at lily and James noticed him. Instead of heckling him like he would've done last year James just ignored him.
Ady noticed this and raised an eyebrow
"Looks like dad did really mature" she twin-talked Aly
"Well yeah how do you think mom finally said yes to him well agreed to go on a date with him?"
Ady had a faint smile on her lip
He got into his car and backed out of number four's drive. It was on the corner of the street that he noticed the first sign of something peculiar — a cat reading a map.
"A cat reading a map that sounds familar" Remus remarked
"MInnnyyy" Sirius yelled happily
Mcgonall rolled her eys witha faint smile playing on her lips, "Mr.Black..."
Before she could say anything the book continued reading
James sighed in relief he really didn't want a detention two weeks before there big prank, he means graduation.
For a second, Mr. Dursley didn't realize what he had seen — then he jerked his head around to look again. Therewas a tabby cat standing on the corner of Privet Drive, but there wasn't a map insight. What could he have been thinking of? It must have been a trick of thelight. Mr. Dursley blinked and stared at the cat. It stared back. As Mr. Dursleydrove around the corner and up the road, he watched the cat in his mirror. It wasnow reading the sign that said Privet Drive — no, looking at the sign; cats couldn't read maps or signs.
"Ok now that was definetly Proffesor mcgonagall" Remus stated nodding his
Peter nervously nodded along
James and Lily noticed how their kids weren't sparing a single glance at peter and they were confused. "Why don't care about him?"
"Why his world is getting rocked at this point" Ginny pointed out
"Yup it really is" Ron nodded in agreement
Mr. Dursley gave himself a little shake and put thecat out of his mind. As he drove toward town he thought of nothing except a large order of drills he was hoping to get that day.
"What are drills" some purebloods asked in confusion
Hermione waved her hand, "If you have any questions about any muggle things that show up in this book just write them down and i'll explain them to you"
Everyone nodded in acceptence
Hermione put her arm back down
Some purebloods snorted deriselvy, "Like they would want to know some stupid mudblood things and even aske help from one to know what that thing is"
But on the edge of town, drills were driven out of his mind by something else. As he sat in the usual morning traffic jam, he couldn't help noticing thatthere seemed to be a lot of strangely dressed people about. People in cloaks. Mr.Dursley couldn't bear people who dressed in funny clothes — the getups yousaw on young people! He supposed this was some stupid new fashion.
Everyone in the hall besides the time travelers were confused too, "What was going".
Someone then asked that question outloud
"Spoilers" Ady sang in a sing-song voice
"But something good happens" Aly added with derision
Hedrummed his fingers on the steering wheel and his eyes fell on a huddle of theseweirdos standing quite close by. They were whispering excitedly together. Mr.Dursley was enraged to see that a couple of them weren't young at all; why, that man had to be older than he was, and wearing an emerald-green cloak! Thenerve of him!But then it struck Mr. Dursley that this was probably some silly s tunt —these people were obviously collecting for something...yes, that would be it. The traffic moved on and a few minutes later, Mr. Dursley arrived in the Grunnings parking lot, his mind back on drills.
"Honestly the nerve of these poeple don't they know the staue of screcy exists" Some wizards cry out
Ady responded back, "Well they had a legitimate reason for being so excited"
"yeah a really big reason" Hermione added
"Can you pleaseeee tell us what those reasons be" Sirius said pouting exagertadly, "For your faveorite god father"
"Who says your the god father" Remus said indignation
"Yea.. wait what" James stated
While the marauders were arguing the potter twins looked at them with fondness as well as sadness already knowing there fate. Alysum marveled at how young and innocent they looked unburdened from the stresses of war. She knew that was going to change once they finished hogwarts and get indocterined in the order of pheonix.
"Stop fighting idiots" Lily barked out annoyed
"Alright lily-flower" James agreed
Remus and Sirus sat there pouting
"Honestly idiots, there twins both of you are eithers godparents" Lily stated annoyed
Remus and Sirius looked shocked before they could say anything else the book continued reading
Lily mouthed, "thank god"
Mr. Dursley always sat with his back to the window in his office on the ninth floor. If he hadn't, he might have found it harder to concentrate on drillsthat morning. He didn't see the owls swooping past in broad daylight, thoughpeople down in the street did; they pointed and gazed open-mouthed as owl after owl sped overhead. Most of them had never seen an owl even at nighttime.
"Ok this is getting really weird" Marlene Mkinnion said in confusion
"Muggles arent used to owls" A clueless pureblood asked
"We really need to upgrade the muggle studies classes" Ady said
"Yeah for these dumb dumbs" Aly agreed
"Who are you calling dumb" some rich pure-blood asked in anger
The book continued on
James highfived both of them under the table while lily snickered not even bothering to say anthing to them
Mr.Dursley, however, had a perfectly normal, owl-free morning. He yelled at fivedifferent people. He made several important telephone calls and shouted a bitmore.
"He sounds like an arsehole" Ron remarked
"Oh don't worry he really he is" Ady responed
"God he is so annoying" Aly added on
Lily thought about going to the wedding of her sisters and thought him as a rude and brash person absoultely perfect for her closeminded sister".
"He sounds like a toddler" Neville remarked fascinated

She rembered having to go get dinner with him and her sister and merlin was it torture. What a slef-centered close minded money hungry man.
He was in a very good mood until lunchtime, when he thought he'd stretch his legs and walk across the road to buy himself a bun from the bakery.
The twins gasped dramtically, "He could get up"
"With very much difficulty" Ady said amused
"Fred, George enough" Molly stated annoyed
Ady and Aly rolled there eyes in unison, "They loved mrs.weasley they really do but sometimes the lady can be a bit much"
"I thought it was funny" Marlene remarked
"Of course you do honey" Dorcas said in returen
He'd for gotten all about the people in cloaks until he passed a group ofthem next to the baker's. He eyed them angrily as he passed. He didn't knowwhy, but they made him uneasy.
Ady snorted and muttered pissed off, "of course it made the old bag of di-..."
"ADY" Mrs. Weasley yelled, "watch your languag eyoung lady"
"The fuck this bitch on right now" Ady mind twinned her sister
"You know how she is" Aly resonded also annoyed
"Yeah not my damn mom, who's sitting right next to me" Ady shot back
Lily furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, "Her langauge doesn't really bother me that much but Ady honey please censor yourself a little there are children here"
Addy was going to say something else but shrugged her shoulders and sighed thinking, "They better get used to our language because theres going to be a lot of swearing in this book"
This bunch were whispering excitedly, too, and he couldn't see a single collecting tin. It was on his way back past them,clutching a large doughnut in a bag, that he caught a few words of what theywere saying. "The Potters, that's right, that's what I heard —" " — yes, their twins , Adhara and Alysum —"
Everyone in the hall were flooded with confusion, why were these unkown wizards or witches talking about the twins and the potters.
Aly stated in a mysterious spooky voice, "all will be revealed soon"
Ady snorted, "Yeah real soo ndon't worry about"
"for now" the twins said in unison
James and Lily were really weird now because even though there twin girls were obviously joking there was sense of underlying sadness.
Mr. Dursley stopped dead. Fear flooded him. He looked back at the whisperers as if he wanted to say something to them, but thought better of it.he dashed back across the road, hurried up to his office, snapped at hissecretary not to disturb him, seized his telephone, and had almost finisheddialing his home number when he changed his mind.
Ron whistled confused, "Wow he must be really paranoid"
"Yeah you don't know half of it" Ady replied thinking back to when she and her sister got their hogwarts letter. Now that was a day she would never ever forget.
She still grinned everytime she thought back to it
Now james was getting annoyed at that man, "God does he have anything else better do"
"Oh he get's worse" Ady quipped back
"How would you know" Lily asked with dread
If she could help it she would never bring her children around to a man like that and with cold dread she ws thinking something must've happened.
James put a comforting hand on her and sighed, they were not going to like what was going to happen next as the chapter as well as books go on.
He put the receiver back down and stroked his mustache,
Ady couldn't help but snort, "why is he stroking his mustache like an evil villain"
Aly couldn't help but giggle picturing the sight of it.
Fred and Geroge thought it was funny too since they were already thinking of prank items making something like that
thinking...no, he was being stupid. Potter wasn't such an unusual name. He was sure there were lots of people called Potter who had twin daughters called Adhara and Alysum. Come to think of it, he wasn't even sure his nieces was called Adhara and Alysum . He'd never even seen the girls . It might have been Allison Or Aria.
A third year Slytherin yelled out, "Wow he really must be desperate to not know you guys"
Ady yelled back, "Oh you have no idea"
Sirius snickered, "Wow this man is a trainwreck"
Remus sighed, "He really is"
There was no point in worrying Mrs. Dursley; she always got so upset atany mention of her sister. He didn't blame her — if he'd had a sister like that...but all the same, those people in cloaks....
Marlene was starting to get pissed, "Lily is amazing you disgusting human being so don't even try"
Alice furiously nodded along with her
Ady and Aly couldn't help but notice how similar Alice and Neville looked. They had the same facial features as well as hair. Neville had some of his father's features but mostly his mother was seen and both couldn't help but smile softly.
Lily just snorted in derision, "There's no point being mad she's been like this since childhood"
James just squeezed Lily's hands softly to silently show support.
He found it a lot harder to concentrate on drills that afternoon and whenhe left the building at five o'clock, he was still so worried that he walked straight into someone just outside the door."Sorry," he grunted, as the tiny old man stumbled and almost fell. It wasa few seconds before Mr. Dursley realized that the man was wearing a violetcloak.
Ron mockingly gasped, "The man knows how to say sorry"
Hermione softly smacked him on the arm grinning, "Of course he does, he has to be as durslyeish as possible you know and that requires some semblance of manner"
Daphne added, "Oh the horror if he isn't seen as normal"
Fred gagged theatrically, "that sounds disgusting"
George added, "Too bad they didn't he didn't teach his kid that"
Ady snickered, "Reminds you of someone"
McGonagall cleared her throat and everyone fell silent
James couldn't help but marvel at how ease they all seemed with each other, it reminded him of the marauders with how close they all seemed together.
He didn't seem at all upset at being almost knocked to the ground. On thecontrary, his face split into a wide smile and he said in a squeaky voice that madepassersby stare, "Don't be sorry, my dear sir, for nothing could upset me today!Rejoice, for You-Know-Who has gone at last! Even Muggles like yourselfshould be celebrating, this happy, happy day!"
There was complete silence for five seconds (Alysum was counting) until there was a cacophony of sounds.

Dumbledore had to set out multiple bursts of fireworks until everyone was finally quiet

While he wasn't looking, Ady stuck her tongue out while flipping him out. Aly just rolled her eyes but couldn't help agree on god she hated that manipulative son of a gun. The history with dumbledore and the twins were extensive and it was a whole thing at this point.
And the old man hugged Mr. Dursley around the middle and walked off.Mr. Dursley stood rooted to the spot. He had been hugged by a completestranger. He also thought he had been called a Muggle, whatever that was. Hewas rattled. He hurried to his car and set off for home, hoping he was imaginingthings, which he had never hoped before, because he didn't approve of imagination.
"Imagine the look of disgust on his face" Charlie Weasley couldn't help but say excitedly
Lily just sighed, "That man needs some serious help and I can't believe petunia would marry and willingly have a child with him"

As he pulled into the driveway of number four, the first thing he saw —and it didn't improve his mood — was the tabby cat he'd spotted that morning. Itwas now sitting on his garden wall. McGonagall glared at him while thinking, "What in the heavens am I doing over there, and does it involve lily and James"

Trying to pull himself together, he let himselfinto the house. He was still determined not to mention anything to his wife.Mrs. Dursley had had a nice, normal day. When Dudleyhad been put to bed, he went into the living room in time to catch the last reporton the evening news:"And finally, bird-watchers everywhere have reported that the nation'sowls have been behaving very unusually today. Although owls normally hunt atnight and are hardly ever seen in daylight, there have been hundreds of sightingsof these birds flying in every direction since sunrise. Going to be any more showers of owls tonight, Jim?"

"Well, Ted," said the weatherman, "I don't know about that, but it's notonly the owls that have been acting oddly today. Viewers as far apart as Kent,Yorkshire, and Dundee have been phoning in to tell me that instead of the rain Ipromised yesterday, they've had a downpour of shooting stars! Perhaps peoplehave been celebrating Bonfire Night early — it's not until next week, folks! ButI can promise a wet night tonight."
"How much you want to bet he's going to freak the fuck out" Ady whispered to her sister
"Nothing because he totally is going to freak out" Aly whispered back
Lily furrowed her eyes, "A lot of stuff was starting to get make sense piece by piece and not in a good way either"
Ginny called out surprised, "Hey isn't ted, Andy's husband"
Hermione looked confused, "I mean it could be because remember Ted was talking about he was a news reporter"
Ady added, "We forgot to ask but maybe we could ask whenever we come back"

Mr. Dursley sat frozen in his armchair. Shooting stars all over Britain?Owls flying by daylight? Mysterious people in cloaks all over the place? And a whisper, a whisper about the Potters....
"You've got to hand it to him though he really must hate being abnormal" Ron pointed out
"Yeah after while it get's annoying" Adhara agreed rolling her eyes

Adhara looked like she agreed with the smirk playing on her lips.
Mrs. Dursley came into the living room carrying two cups of tea. It wasno good. He'd have to say something to her. He cleared his throat nervously. "Er— Petunia, dear — you haven't heard from your sister lately, have you?"As he had expected, Mrs. Dursley looked shocked and angry. After all,they normally pretended she didn't have a sister.
"Of course she didn't" Lily stated rolling her eyes
The in a mocking tone she said, "Poor wittle petunia never getting the love and attention she needed"
Ady and Aly didn't blame their mum in being annoyed at her. I mean they've both said wayyy worse about petunia. They got a list of names the love yelling at her whenver they felt like pissing her off.
in turn everyone was shock because lily was a sweetperson besides having a fiery temper. James already knew the disregard lily felt for etunia. No matter how much she tried. petunia always pushed her away or berated her.
"No," she said sharply. "Why?""Funny stuff on the news," Mr. Dursley mumbled. "Owls...shootingstars...and there were a lot of funny-looking people in town today....""So?" snapped Mrs. Dursley."Well, I just thought...maybe...it was something to do with...youknow...her crowd."
Remus pointed out, "Well the man aint wrong, stuff like that happening in the muggle world is weird if ya think about it"
Ady replied, "That's true also the crowd thing is kind of being annoying"
Fred popped out, "It's almost as if we aren't human"
Aly responded, "Ugh you don't want to know what they think"

The twins snickered, "The look on her face"
Mrs. Dursley sipped her tea through pursed lips. Mr. Dursley wonderedwhether he dared tell her he'd heard the name "Potter." He decided he didn't dare. Instead he said, as casually as he could, "Their twin girls — they'd be aboutDudley's age now, wouldn't he?" "I suppose so," said Mrs. Dursley stiffly.
"Pfft Vernon being casual" Aly remarked annoyed
"God that man is as obvious as a bull in a china shop" Ady said snorting
Lily asked questioningly, "I just want to know why he wan'ts to know so bad about you"
"Morbid curiousity" Ron responded
"Sheer stupidity" remarkably Regulus said
Sirius looked shock because his brother was usually quiet but he was following all this along with a strange sort of fascination
before anything else could be said the book moved on
"What's their names again? Alyn or Alex, isn't it?""Alysum and Adhara. Nasty, uncommon names, if you ask me.""Oh, yes," said Mr. Dursley, his heart sinking horribly. "Yes, I quiteagree." He didn't say another word on the subject as they went upstairs to bed.
James gagsped theatrically, "Their names are beautful excuse me unlike dudley"
Lily resonded in turn, "Uncommon ok and? who died and made you keeper of pretty names mrs. dudly namer"
Ady huffed out, "Not the worse insults we've heard actually about our names"
Aly then said, "I actually like out names, I think their unique unlike some people"
Theo snorted, "Oh get over yourselves"
Daphne responded, "Ok theodore francis"
Ron started cackling with laughter
Theo sighed loudly, "Oh would you let it go"

While Mrs. Dursley was in the bathroom, Mr. Dursley crept to the bedroomwindow and peered down into the front garden. The cat was still there. It wasstaring down Privet Drive as though it were waiting for something.Was he imagining things? Could all this have anything to do with thePotters? If it did...if it got out that they were related to a pair of — well, he didn'tthink he could bear it.
"Oh thank god imagine being related to that thing" Regulus stated in disgust
Sirius hummed out an agreement, "Why is he so blegh"
Aly retorted, "For once me and him agree on something"

"Ginervra Weasley"! Molly boomed out "Don't be rude"
Ron and Ginny rolled their eyed in unison while their other brothers had a faint annoyed expression
They really loved their mom but she could be a bit much in a way
The Dursleys got into bed. Mrs. Dursley fell asleep quickly but Mr.Dursley lay awake, turning it all over in his mind. His last, comforting thoughtbefore he fell asleep was that even if the Potters were involved, there was noreason for them to come near him and Mrs. Dursley.
"I'm getting a bad feeling about this" James stated worried
"Don't worry honey I am too" Lily acknowleged
Ady bemoaned to Aly, "This is not going to turn out well"

The Potters knew very wellwhat he and Petunia thought about them and their kind....He couldn't see how heand Petunia could get mixed up in anything that might be going on — heyawned and turned over — it couldn't affect them....How very wrong he was.
"I love how he just says their kind as if you guys aren't human" Hermione pointed out
"Oh tell me about it" Ady muttered
"Hah sike" Aly announced giggling

Aly mouthed thank you to whover gave them that favor
Mr. Dursley might have been drifting into an uneasy sleep, but the cat onthe wall outside was showing no sign of sleepiness.
"I just want to say I could never" Marlene commented out loud
"No because same" Dorcas agreed out loud
The marauders also agreed with them because despite staying up pretty late they gernerally like going to sleep a bit earlier with their partners. It was a thing they were going to keep
Alysum and Adhara on the other hand snorted because both of them were used to staying up pretty late. They were night owls who could blame thme with all the nightmares among other things that went on.
It was sitting as still as astatue, its eyes fixed unblinkingly on the far corner of Privet Drive. It didn't somuch as quiver when a car door slammed on the next street, nor when two owlsswooped overhead. In fact, it was nearly midnight before the cat moved at all.
"I would admit that is sort of creepy" Adhara said outloud
A first year hufflepuff seemed to agree with her with the fast nod
Aly remarked, "How would you not get bored though like staring at one position for a long period of time"
Ginny however seemed impressed, "But imagine the amount of focus it would take to just sit there and stare doing absolutely nothing"
A man appeared on the corner the cat had been watching, appeared sosuddenly and silently you'd have thought he'd just popped out of the ground.The cat's tail twitched and its eyes narrowed.
Fred gasped, "It moved"!
Lily however thought outloud, "Why would someone of wizardly descent be near this boring old house"
Aly snorted, "Mum I assume you'd find out in a couple minutes"
"Forgot that I want to know who the man is" Remus questioned loudly
Ady and Aly sighed in unison
Nothing like this man had ever been seen on Privet Drive. He was tall,thin, and very old, judging by the silver of his hair and beard, which were bothlong enough to tuck into his belt. He was wearing long robes, a purple cloak thatswept the ground, and high-heeled, buckled boots. His blue eyes were light,bright, and sparkling behind half-moon spectacles and his nose was very longand crooked, as though it had been broken at least twice.
"Anybody want to take any guesses" Hermione asked drily
Ginny snorted and just before she could say anything Sirius yelled out, "It's Dumbledore"
Ady snapped back sarcastically, "No really who would've thought"
Lily added, "The real question here is what is he doing here and who is that cat"
Aly remarked, "Mum the cat's obviously mcgonagall and why dumbledore is here we'll find out don't worry about"
Spolier alert: that made lily worry even more
This man's name was Albus Dumbledore.
"As I said who would've thought" remarked Adhara
Lily and James started notcing the obvious disdain the twins had for their headmaster. Both were curious as to why they were very much annoyed at him.
Dumbledore of course sat there in oblivious ignorance.
Albus Dumbledore didn't seem to realize that he had just arrived in astreet where everything from his name to his boots was unwelcome. He was busy rummaging in his cloak, looking for something. But he did seem to realizehe was being watched, because he looked up suddenly at the cat, which was stillstaring at him from the other end of the street.
Alysum snickered, "This is the only thing he's ever done right"
Ady grinned at the sheer ridiculousness of it, oh the reactions the prissy little neighborhood would have.
Lily on the other hand was getting really worried at this point and was already making some theories in her head
For some reason, the sight of thecat seemed to amuse him. He chuckled and muttered, "I should have known."
Alysum rolled her eyes even harder and in a mocking tone she said, "yeah he should've"
Adhara just sighed saying absolutely nothing
He found what he was looking for in his inside pocket. It seemed to be asilver cigarette lighter. He flicked it open, held it up in the air, and clicked it. Thenearest street lamp went out with a little pop. He clicked it again — the nextlamp flickered into darkness. Twelve times he clicked the Put-Outer, until theonly lights left on the whole street were two tiny pinpricks in the distance, whichwere the eyes of the cat watching him. If anyone looked out of their windownow, even beady-eyed Mrs. Dursley, they wouldn't be able to see anything thatwas happening down on the pavement.
The marauders and the rest of the students beside the golden quartet looked on in awe.
Ron just rolled his eyes to be honest he thought it really wasn't a big deal.
Before anyone could shout anything Ron pointed out, "I have that, and its not really that big of a deal so like calm down ya weirdos"
Sirius puffed up, "NOT A BIG DEA-" his sentence got muffled while remus shoved his hand on his mouth while rolling his eyes
"Ignore the doofus over here, you could see he has a big mouth" Remus drly muttered
Regulus snorted in agreement
Dumbledore slipped the Put-Outer backinside his cloak and set off down the street toward number four, where he satdown on the wall next to the cat. He didn't look at it, but after a moment hespoke to it."Fancy seeing you here, Professor McGonagall."
Lily looked at James with here eyebrows raised, "I know I sound like a broken record by why is or transfiguration proffesor and albus dumbledore at my whiny big sisters house?"
Alysum responded, "Hate to be the mood breaker or whatever but uh just wait a little more"
Adhara snorted, "If the mystery is killing you know I wonder how you'll handle the rest of our years"
James instead asked questioningly, "What do you mean by that?"
But instead of answering the twins just grinned evily
He turned to smile at the tabby, but it had gone. Instead he was smiling ata rather severe-looking woman who was wearing square glasses exactly theshape of the markings the cat had had around its eyes. She, too, was wearing acloak, an emerald one. Her black hair was drawn into a tight bun. She lookeddistinctly ruffled.
Addy snorted, When does she not look like that"
Alysmum sighed, "Must you? "
Adhara grinned mockingly, "Absoulutely, besides you know what she did"
Alysum then stated, "I mean we got over it and sh's making ameneds"
Adhara stayed silent
Lily and James know grew even more worried, "What did they mean by that".
"How did you know it was me?" she asked."My dear Professor, I've never seen a cat sit so stiffly.""You'd be stiff if you'd been sitting on a brick wall all day," said Professor McGonagall.
"Big mood" Ron stated with an absolute serious expression
Ginny added, " I don't blame her for being cranky, imaging sitting there for hours"
Alysum nodded, "Oh my back would be killing me"
Adhara snorted, "Not more than it already is"
The Weasley twins gasped dramatically, "Catfight"
Molly Weasley screeched, "QUIET"
Addy and Alys mocked it behind her back while Ginny and Ron who noticed silently laughed.
"All day? When you could have been celebrating? I must have passed a dozen feasts and parties on my way here."Professor McGonagall sniffed angrily."Oh yes, I've to celebrate, all right," she said impatiently. "You'd think they'd be a bit more careful, but no —even the Muggles have noticed something's going on. It was on their news."
"Wizards being smart, who would've thought" Addy remarked drily
Ron snorted derisevly, "If only"
The purebloods looked at them in pure indgnition, "What do these blood traitors mean, Wizards are obviously superior"
She jerked her head back at the Dursley's dark living-room window. "I heard it. Flocks of owls...shooting stars...Well, they're not completely stupid. They were bound to noticesomething. Shooting stars down in Kent — I'll bet that was Dedalus Diggle. He never had much sense."
"HEY" Diggled remarked loudly
James couldn't help but snicker, Deadalus wasn't always the smartest of the bunch and often made stupid decions
"You can't blame them," said Dumbledore gently. "We've had preciouslittle to celebrate for eleven years.""I know that," said Professor McGonagall irritably. "But that's no reasonto lose our heads. People are being downright careless, out on the streets inbroad daylight, not even dressed in Muggle clothes, swapping rumors."
"I mean McGonagall's not wrong" Fred remarked cooly
George added, "I mean we may be loud and annoying but even we know when to not throw our secrets into the void because we need to celebrate"
Alysum remarked, "Well yeah but it was a long arduous war so they need something to celebrate"
Adhara added, "Well they won't be celebrating when there dead"
She threw a sharp, sideways glance at Dumbledore here, as thoughhoping he was going to tell her something, but he didn't, so she went on. "A finething it would be if, on the very day You-Know-Who seems to have disappearedat last, the Muggles found out about us all. I suppose he really has gone,Dumbledore?"
"No people are going crazy for no reason" Adhara remarked rolling her eyes
Alysum snorted because Mcgonagall was a major pain the entire 6 years the twins where there. She always had something against them, maybe it;s the slytherin prejudice or maybe there obvious hatred over dumbledore.
James and Lily looked shocked at Adhara's cutting comment
"Do they not like Mcgonagall"???
"It certainly seems so," said Dumbledore. "We have much to be thankfulfor. Would you care for a lemon drop?""A what?""A lemon drop. They're a kind of Muggle sweet I'm rather fond of.""No, thank you," said Professor McGonagall coldly, as though she didn'tthink this was the moment for lemon drops. The twins both wrinkled there nose, "I like lemon candy as much as the next person but the kind he has are disgusting"
Ron nodded resoutley, "I know what you mean by that"
Dumbledore just twinkled his eyes on
"My dear Professor, surely a sensible person like yourself can call him byhis name? All this 'You-Know-Who' nonsense — for eleven years I have beentrying to persuade people to call him by his proper name: Voldemort." ProfessorMcGonagall flinched, but Dumbledore, who was unsticking two lemon drops,seemed not to notice. "It all gets so confusing if we keep saying 'You-KnowWho.' I have never seen any reason to be frightened of saying Voldemort'sname."
Everyone who came from the future collectively rolled their eyes in unison
" I never thought how much of a big deal it was saying his name" remarked Alysum fascinated
Adhara shuddered "However I get why people don't say it"
Ron, Hermione Adhar as well as Alysum looked downtrodden at that notion
Before Dumbledore could start his usual spiel the book continued on
Adhara mouthed thank you too whoever and whatever that was controlling it
"I know you haven't, said Professor McGonagall, sounding halfexasperated, half admiring. "But you're different. Everyone knows you're theonly one You-Know- oh, all right, Voldemort, was frightened of.""You flatter me," said Dumbledore calmly. "Voldemort had powers I willnever have.""Only because you're too — well — noble to use them.""It's lucky it's dark. I haven't blushed so much since Madam Pomfreytold me she liked my new earmuffs."
Fred snickered. "Why Madam Pomfrey..."
George added, "We never knew"
"You liked"

The future generazation looked surpisingly used to how fred and george bounced off each other while the past looked confused and slightly terrifed.
Adhara couldn't help but snicker loudly," Oh he got a taste"
Before she could say anymore Alysum elbowed her hard and Addy rolled her eyes
"Fine fine i'll shut up"
Lily was know morbidly curious on what dirt her twin daughters had on Albus Dumbledore. She thought about it for a second and decided she didn't want to know.
Professor McGonagall shot a sharp look at Dumbledore and said "Theowls are nothing next to the rumors that are flying around. You know whatthey're saying? About why he's disappeared? About what finally stopped him?"It seemed that Professor McGonagall had reached the point she was mostanxious to discuss, the real reason she had been waiting on a cold, hard wall allday, for neither as a cat nor as a woman had she fixed Dumbledore with such apiercing stare as she did now. It was plain that whatever "everyone" was saying,she was not going to believe it until Dumbledore told her it was true.
Adhara snorted bitterly, "Mcgonagall belives the sun shines out of dumbledores wrinkly old arse if she can help it"
The past gernerazion as well as Molly Weasley gasped at her crass language and disrespect fo the wizarding world most repected figure
"Excuse me young lady" Mrs.Weasley began to start her tirade
"Shut up molly" Lily snapped annoyed
Honestly she didn't even meet her daughters for a day and she was already protective of them. Besides she knew how molly could be sometimes given that they were friends with her being just a few years older then her.
Adhara and Alysum grinned, "Finally someone shut that women up"
AN: The twins love the weasley matriach but she can be a bit of bitch sometimes. Comment if anyone wants her to be good or they keep bashing
"What they're saying," she pressed on, "is that last night Voldemortturned up in Godric's Hollow. He went to find the Potters. The rumor is that Lilyand James Potter are — are — that they're — dead."Dumbledore bowed his head. Professor McGonagall gasped."Lily and James...I can't believe it...I didn't want to believe it...Oh,Albus..."Dumbledore reached out and patted her on the shoulder. "I know...Iknow..." he said heavily.
Everyone was silent inthe great hall.
Lilly and James gripped both of there hands tightly with tears in there eyes. It was a bit jarring to think that in 4 years time they would be dead. Barely exploring the world and they would already be gone.
Sirius and Remus had tears in there as eyes as well. There best frieds people that they thought of as siblings were gone just like that.
Everyone in the hall was sniffling while the twins looked at the ground in front of them emotionless. They already did a lot of crying about there parents being gone and them never coming back. However there parents were there right in front of them. Although it was the weirdest situation ever they were still there.
The book moved on
Professor McGonagall's voice trembled as she went on. "That's not all.They're saying he tried to kill the Potter Twins , Adhara and Alysum . But he couldn't. Hecouldn't kill those two little girls . No one knows why, or how, but they're saying thatwhen he couldn't kill Adhara and Alysum Potter, Voldemort's power somehow broke — andthat's why he's gone."Dumbledore nodded glumly.
Adhara flipped her hair and stated in a snooty accent, "Thats cause we're just better then him darling"
Alysum added on, "Pfft imagine not being able to kill two babies"
Lily and James looked pale at that knowlege, There two darling daughters that they found out about in the future were almost killed by a dark lord.
James hardened his resolved, He will never let that happen again because those two deserve the best even now. H could tell from there battle hardened eyes.
Lily smile grimly, she's going to make sure this never becomes a reality again and if she has too die again well who's stopping her
"It's — it's true?" faltered Professor McGonagall. "After all he's done...all the people he's killed...he couldn't kill two littel girls? It's just astounding...ofall the things to stop him...but how in the name of heaven did Adhara and Alysum survive?""We can only guess." said Dumbledore. "We may never know."
Adhara smiled sarcastically, "Oh he knows"
Ginny added on, "He just has to be a major fucking control freak"
Molly screached, "GINEVRA..."
but was cut off by Ron with, "Mom just stop, like your obsessive need to defend Dumbledore is getting out of control"
Bill added on, "Really out of control, stop yelling at Gin"
Professor McGonagall pulled out a lace handkerchief and dabbed at hereyes beneath her spectacles. Dumbledore gave a great sniff as he took a goldenwatch from his pocket and examined it. It was a very odd watch. It had twelve hands but no numbers; instead, little planets were moving around the edge. Itmust have made sense to Dumbledore, though, because he put it back in hispocket and said, "Hagrid's late. I suppose it was he who told you I'd be here, bythe way?"
Ginny wondered out loud, "That's a cool watch"
Adhara added on, "Could be better if it had you know numbers"
Alysum snorted, "Really guys"
Both girls looked at her innocentely, "We don't know what you talking about"
"Yes," said Professor McGonagall. "And I don't suppose you're going totell me why you're here, of all places?""I've come to bring Harry to his aunt and uncle. They're the only familyhe has left now."
Lily snorted bitterly, "Right the only family left is my bitch of a sister and her whale of a husband with that god awful baby".
James added on, "What about Sirius or Remus hell I'd prefer if you gave them too an orphanage".
Ady nodded her head in agreement, "She would rather have gone to an orphanage with her twin then deal with the dursleys".
"You don't mean – you can't mean the people who live here?" criedProfessor McGonagall, jumping to her feet and pointing at number four."Dumbledore — you can't. I've been watching them all day. You couldn't findtwo people who are less like us. And they've got this son — I saw him kickinghis mother all the way up the street, screaming for sweets. Adhara and Alysum Potter comeand live here!"
Lily rolled her eyes not even the slightest bit surpised at what she heard, she knew what her sister was and how she acted since she was a little girl.
Daphne rolled her eyes in annoyance, "I can't believe you guys live with them "
Adhara murmed out loud, "Yeah I can't either"
"It's the best place for them," said Dumbledore firmly. "There aunt anduncle will be able to explain everything to them when their older. I've writtenthem a letter."
Now James was getting pissed off, "I thought you were a headmaster not Magical Child Services, me and lily would've written a will too showcase where our daughters would go"
Lily added on, "And i'm sure in the will we would've explicitly stated that they were not to go to my sister and her husband"
Akysum added, "Your right mum, we saw the will and we were supposed to be placed with Narcissa Malfoy as a final resort"
Narcissa looked shocked that Lily Evans and James Potter would leave there daughters with her".
James didn't seem shocked however, "Yeah that makes sense"
Lily smiled at Narcissa, "Hey we've been friends for a while remember"
Draco snorted but smiled softly, "Yeah there the best sisters anybody could ask for"
Ginny replied, "it took a loooong time to get too that point"
Ron shuddered, "A really long time"
"A letter?" repeated Professor McGonagall faintly, sitting back down onthe wall. "Really, Dumbledore, you think you can explain all this in a letter?These people will never understand them! they'll be famous — a legend — Iwouldn't be surprised if today was known as Potter twin day in the future —there will be books written about the twin girls — every child in our world will know their names!"
Lily yelled shocked, "A LETTER"
Alice added on, "Do tell dumbledore how a letter would explain you forecfully shoving a baby on someone who you know doesn't like people with magic"
James thought quietly to himself, "If this is going to be how my darling girls being treated well looks like there won't be me in a light side"
Sirius looked at him and saw James thinking hard
He whispered consipirately to Remus, "Oh no he has his serious thinky face on "
Remus rolled his eyes, "Calm down Padfoot"
Adhara snorted, "Imagine a Potter twin day"
Alysum sighed annoyed, "We already have our birthdays dedicated and over the top too the both of us"
Ginny snickered, "Those days are a little funny with the extravagent gifts you guys get"
Aly threw her hands up exasperated, "Who needs a pure diamond statue of both of us ginny WHO!!!"
Ron couldn't help but snicker at that rembering the actual shock on both of the twins faces wehn they saw the statue.
"Exactly." said Dumbledore, looking very seriously over the top of hishalf-moon glasses. "It would be enough to turn any girl's head. Famous before they can walk and talk! Famous for something they won't even remember! Can yousee how much better off they'll be, growing up away from all that until there readyto take it?"
James scoffed annoyed, "really I get that you wanted to protect them from becoming spoiled and burdened with fame but you did not have to give them too Petunia".
Adhara sighed, "Well I can see where he's coming from but your about not leaving us with people who hate our very guts"
Theo's eyes flashed an icy blue, "Don't worry they will be delt with accordingly if they tough a hair on their head"
The twins gulped nervously, they've never told the extent of how deep the abuse ran. However when they were at the age of 11 and going off too hogwarts the stood up to themselves. Ron never told anybody what happened the summer of second year and the twins were insoumnatly grateful for it.
Ron clenched his jaw and spoke darkly, "Don't worry theo i'll be joining you"
The twins sighed, "And they though they were safe"
Professor McGonagall opened her mouth, changed her mind, swallowed,and then said, "Yes — yes, you're right, of course. But how are the girl's gettinghere, Dumbledore?" She eyed his cloak suddenly as though she thought he mightbe hiding the twins underneath it.
Aly coudn't help but snicker, "Yeah alright we're hidden under a cloak"
Ady added, "Two twin girls covered under a cloak"
Ron thoughtfully stated, "Well it's dumbledore"
And everybody shrugged because yeah makes sense
"Hagrid's bringing him.""You think it — wise — to trust Hagrid with something as important asthis?""I would trust Hagrid with my life," said Dumbledore."I'm not saying his heart isn't in the right place," said ProfessorMcGonagall grudgingly, "but you can't pretend he's not careless. He does tendto — what was that?"
"HAGRIDDDD" the people who came from the future cheered
"Honestly I would die for hagrid" Ady stated with all seriousness in her voice
Aly coughed, "We did"
"What" Lily asked
Aly pretended like she couldn't hear a word come out of her mothers mouth
A low rumbling sound had broken the silence around them. It grewsteadily louder as they looked up and down the street for some sign of aheadlight; it swelled to a roar as they both looked up at the sky — and a hugemotorcycle fell out of the air and landed on the road in front of them.If the motorcycle was huge, it was nothing to the man sitting astride it.He was almost twice as tall as a normal man and at least five times as wide. Helooked simply too big to be allowed, and so wild — long tangles of bushy blackhair and beard hid most of his face, he had hands the size of trash can lids, andhis feet in their leather boots were like baby dolphins. In his vast, muscular armshe was holding a bundle of blankets.
Ron whistled loudly while the weasley twins hooted and hollered with Ginny the Potter twins and the marauders following along.
Lily smiled fondly at the love that everyon showed to this one man. But even he could agree that Hagrid was the best. If you need someone to talk too or cry too. Hell even if you just wanted to gossip the day away you could always go to Hagrid.
Hagrid couldn't help but tear up a little, he didn't even do anything yet and everyone already loved him.
"Hagrid," said Dumbledore, sounding relieved. "At last. And where didyou get that motorcycle?"Borrowed it, Professor Dumbledore, sir," said the giant, climbingcarefully off the motorcycle as he spoke. "Young Sirius Black lent it to me. I'vegot him, sir.""No problems, were there?""No, sir — house was almost destroyed, but I got them out all right beforethe Muggles started swarmin' around. the girls fell asleep as we was flyin' overBristol."
Sirius furrowed his eyebrows confused, "Why did I give up Bessie to Hagrid"
Remus sighed, "I still can't believe you name it Bessie"
The twins looked disheartened when hearing their godfather's names.
"There was a lot that went on during that time" Ginny explained quietly
Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall bent forward over the bundle ofblankets. Inside, just visible, two baby girls fast asleep.One had a lightning scar over her foward covered in unrly hair while the other girl had a scar carved on her neck"Is that where —?" whispered Professor McGonagall."Yes," said Dumbledore. "Both of them will have those scar's forever."
"Aww" Lily and the rest of the women in the room couldn't help but coo"
The Potter twins pouted, "Hey we weren't that cute"
A flash sparked and a single photo fluttered down into lily potter's hand. She looked at the photo in admiration as there was two little girls barely the age of one with the same exact description as the photos theselves have stated. The only different were that trw were curled together sleeping soundly.
Lily made several copies so that everyone else could see them but she kept the original close too her heart.
"Couldn't you do something about it, Dumbledore?""Even if I could, I wouldn't. Scars can come in handy. I have one myselfabove my left knee that is a perfect map of the London Underground. Well —give the girl's over here, Hagrid — we'd better get this over with."
Everyone turned too look at the scars Proffesor Mcgonagall was talking about and looked over at the twins. The scars seemed faded from what they can tell.
Before thy can ask any question Ady stated, "it's not that serious can we move on"
Aly snorted and mouthed that sentence increduolsly
These blasted scars were why there life was messed up
Dumbledore took both Adhara and Alysum in each arm and turned toward the Dursleys'house."Could I — could I say good-bye to them, sir?" asked Hagrid. He bent hisgreat, shaggy head over both Adhara and Alysum and gave them what must have been a veryscratchy, whiskery kiss. Then, suddenly, Hagrid let out a howl like a woundeddog."Shhh!" hissed Professor McGonagall, "You'll wake the Muggles!"
Ady snorted, "The muggles oh the poor muggles"
Lily felt the pain that Hagrid was feeling because well Hagid was like a dear friend too the maurauders. He was always there helping eith any mischeif. Honestly Lily and James were planning on making him the godfather for their next child
"S-s-sorry," sobbed Hagrid, taking out a large, spotted handkerchief andburying his face in it. "But I c-c-can't stand it —Lily an'James dead — an' poorlittle Adhara and Alysum off ter live with Muggles —"
The Potter twins had a dark look on their face, "Hagrid it's ok we got though it "
Lily sighed, "You shouldn't have too though"
James looked dejected, "You girls didn't deserve too be left over there"
Sirius and Remus bowed their head in silent respect and the book continued on
"Yes, yes, it's all very sad, but get a grip on yourself, Hagrid, or we'll befound," Professor McGonagall whispered, patting Hagrid gingerly on the arm asDumbledore stepped over the low garden wall and walked to the front door. Helaid both Adhara and Alysum gently on the doorstep, took a letter out of his cloak, tucked it inside both blankets, and then came back to the other two. For a full minute thethree of them stood and looked at the little bundles; Hagrid's shoulders shook,Professor McGonagall blinked furiously, and the twinkling light that usuallyshone from Dumbledore's eyes seemed to have gone out.
Adahra murmered to Alysum, "Well dumbledore does seem a little remorsful"
Alysum snorted, "If he was feeling remorseful he would leave us at this bitch's house"
Adhara nodded, "Fair point"
Lily however did not seem too let the matter go along with James, "We probably had a whole list written as too where the girls could go but you numbnuts decided on petunias house"
Yes the parents were ging too dtie mcgonangall in with dumbledore. She saw the honestly deplorable behavior but decided too leave at as be with some half hearted refusal.
"Well," said Dumbledore finally, "that's that. We've no business stayinghere. We may as well go and join the celebrations.""Yeah," said Hagrid in a very muffled voice, "I'll be takin' Sirius his bikeback. A breeze ruffled the neat hedges of Privet Drive, which lay silent and tidyunder the inky sky, the very last place you would expect astonishing things tohappen.
