Dear diary,
Guess whos backkkk!! And I have so much to tell you!! Basically, after yhe whole crying Sirius fiasco he’s opened up a lot more to me, remus and james. I’m not too sure why he hasn’t told Kingsley the things he’s told us but it’s up to him who he tells right?
I think we might be friend group now; we always sit together at lunch and dinner and in lessons and we have a ritual where we all sit on the floor on Tuesdays with shit loads of snacks and talk for hours. It’s so much fun!!
James introduced us to his other friends the other day and they’re all really nice. Marlene, the loudest one, lives opposite James and has been friends with him since they were born. Same with Alice, one of his other friends who’s weirdly good at herbology (just like me eekkkk). Finally, there’s frank but he’s in Ravenclaw so we don’t hang out with him as often.
Marlene and Alice introduced us all to the group they hang out with who’ve they’ve called ‘the girls’ which sounds slightly like a cult name but maybe its just a female thing to have names for your friend group. The first one we met was Lily, a fiery red head who James has already apparently fallen head over heels in love with. The second one is Mary, she’s really REALLY nice. She said that she liked my jumper and we talked for ages about our favourite songs until Remus dragged me away for 3rd period. Finally, is Emmaline. I didn’t really talk to her much, but she seems decent, she mostly talked to Sirius and just giggled at him.
Frank gave us the password to the kitchens, and we all went to get some cookies, even Kingsley came with us cause apparently, he’s really good friends with frank.
The other day, we made our first enemy too!! His name is Severus Snape and apparently, he knew James and Sirius from the train ride. I think he’s friends with lily too, but I’m not too sure why she’d want to be friends with a knob head like him! Anyway, the reason he’s our enemy now is because the other day, Sirius got a letter from his mum and the pretty 7th year came over and comforted him while he opened it. I think she knew it’d be something bad. When he opened it, it started screaming at him and it even called him by his full name which made him and the other girl flinch who I’m assuming is his cousin cause he told us that he had 1 brother and 3 girl cousins. At the end, Sirius virtually fell into his cousin’s arms and whispered Andie quietly (I’m guessing that’s her name?? is it short for something??). I did feel really bad for Sirius, I’d be scared if my mum sounded like that or treat me like that, at least he has his cousin and us. Andie took Sirius to her dorm to freshen him up when Snape jumped up and called Sirius a pussy and a very bad word starting with an F. That’s when Andie let go of Sirius and pegged it over to the Slytherin table to presumably beat the shit out of Severus before a girl with black, wild hair stopped her and called her Andromeda (her full name?) and Lily glared at him and hexed him, so his food turned into snakes. Me, Remus and James all ran to Sirius as he fell to the ground because he was crying so much, and Andie also ran over.
Sirius is now asleep on my bed with his head on my shoulder as I write this, and my only worry is that he’ll wake up and tear up my diary. He doesn’t seem like the violent type though. I’ll get back to you soon
