*THUD!!!!!!*
“An earthquake!?” Epel looked around.
~SNAP! SNAP! CRACK! SNAP!!~
Roxana’s eyes widened a bit. “That’s…”
“No, it is not…!” Rook said. “Look outside, everyone!”
Everyone run up to the windows, there were many flying blue/grey robots around the sky.
“What are those!? They’re all flying in the sky with their– Wait, are those hoverboards!?” Kalim cried out loud.
“What in the world…!?” Vil frowned. “Unless there are events, the school is supposed to be protected with a magical ward to keep intruders away.”
Jamil turned to look at him. “Then, was that the sound of the barrier breaking…!?”
Vil bit his lip. “How in the world did they get in…?”
“They’re heading this way…” Rook said.
“Everyone run up to the Mirror and get out of here, I will take care of these things.” Roxana said before she made her way out of Slytherin, throwing Bombarda at the robots.
The others listened to her and got out of the dorm.
Hours later Epel, Deuce, and Ace came back.
“Roxana ! Big trouble !” Deuce shouted. “Vil, Jamil, and Grim were taken by those robots !”
“What.”
“And I tried to call the other housewardens, but no one answered, Riddle normally answers seconds after I call him !” Ace said.
“You boys stay safe and go to the infirmary I can see you’re injured in some places, am going to the headmaster’s office.” Roxana said before she apparated to Crowley’s office.
Kalim face brightened when he saw three of the people they were waiting for. “Roxana ! Malleus, Lilia! Thanks for coming!”
“I see… The missing ones are as I had predicted…” Lilia said after looking around.
Roxana frowned. Riddle, Leona, Azul, Vil, Jamil…does it have something to do with blot ?
“I was just chilling, baking cookies at the dorm when I got word that Riddle’s been kidnapped…” Trey said. “And now, it looks like Ace and Deuce were also injured and are resting in the infirmary… It’s all so sudden, I don’t know what to make of it.”
“After we were informed, I went to go check the scene of the crime. The lawn was badly scorched and messed up.” Cater said. “What in the world happened?”
“That’s what I wanna know!” Ruggie frowned. “Even Leona-san surrendered without question…… “You’re in charge of Savanaclaw until I get back. Well, assuming I ever come back.” He said that so seriously before going off with those mysterious people!”
“It seems like Azul was busy with club activities when he surrendered.” Jade said after a while.
“According to the other members, he was quietly taken together with Firefly Squid-senpai and Sea Angel.” Floyd said. “Azul would’ve definitely thrown a tantrum, so… I dunno what the deal was…” He scratched the back of his head a bit confused.
“Vil and Jamil were together with us at the Slytherin Dorm when the attack happened, Roxana went after the robots after she told us to use the mirror in the dorm to teleport, but they caught us in the Mirror Chamber !” Kalim cried.
“We did what we could to retaliate with defensive magic, but… In the end, they were both taken together with Grim.” Rook said.
“They took Grim too ?” Roxana frowned. “Why…”
Malleus put a hand on her back.
Jade put a hand on his chin. “I see. Only Leona-san and Azul surrendered willingly. What could be the reason behind it?”
Ruggie’s ears flattened on his head. “It looks like Leona-san knew who they were, too…”
“Indeed…” Malleus said. “Kingscholar is royalty, after all. It is not strange to think that he would know “them.””
“What’s that mean exactly?” Ruggie asked.
“Allow me to explain.” Trein said as he entered.
“Oh, my. Trein, dear, what happened to the Headmaster?” Lilia asked.
“The Headmaster was also detained and taken with the students why S.T.Y.X.” Trein said. “I will be in charge of the school until his return.”
“Styx ?” Roxana frowned.
“What’s “S.T.Y.X.”?
“S.T.Y.X. is a non-governmental organization that does not belong to any country’s existing government…” He said. “They are a magical research institute that have been investigating Blot since time immemorial.”
Jade was taken aback. “Researching Blot…!?”
Floyd frowned. “… Tch, I get it now.”
“……? What do you mean?” Kalim shivered.
“Please recall the students who were kidnapped.” Jade said.
“Let’s see… There’s Riddle-kun, Leona-kun, Azul-kun, Jamil-kun…” Cater named. “Oh, they took the Vice-Prefect instead of Kalim-kun? But then, why is Rook here and accounted for?”
“Don’t you think it’s weird? They weren’t targeting Prefects and Vice-Prefects specifically, but rather…” Trey paused.
“Blot research…? Jamil… Ah!” Kalim finally got it. “They’ve all Overbloted!”
Ruggie was taken aback by the revelation. “What? Does that mean Vil-senpai went into Overblot, too…?”
Rook frowned. “Not really… Reine des Serpents stopped Vil Overblot before it could happen.”
“Same for Jamil !” Kalim said. “So I don’t see why both of them were kidnapped.”
“I guess it’s because they had a high amount of blot so even if they didn’t overblot like they were going to, they were still one step away from doing so.” Rook said.
“But all of them should have recovered after receiving the proper guidance.” Trey said. “So why take them now?”
“Indeed…… “He” might know something about the whole situation.” Malleus said.
Kalim looked confused. “Who’s “he”?”
Lilia crossed his arms. “Those who hail from the Island of Woe.”
“I have read about them from several history books.” Rook said. “Roi des Dragons… Do you mean to say that you are acquainted with some of them despite their fearful, evil ways?”
Malleus looked at him like he grew another head. “… What are you saying? Are you feeling alright, Hunt? You should be acquainted with some of them, too.”
Rook looked surprised.
Lilia smiled. “‘Tis not only Rook. Everyone here should be familiar with them.”
An imagine of Hades suddenly appeared in her mind along with two boys that looked like him, the witch immediately knew who they were talking about.
Roxana looked at the two. “You mean Idia Shroud ?”
*Somewhere*
Riddle gasped as he woke up surrounded by darkness.
“When did I… I just lost consciousness… Where are those imbeciles!? Off with all their heads!” Riddle screamed and tried to stand up only to bump into something. “My movements are so limited… And it’s too dark to see anything! What in the world is happening!?”
“Please calm down. It is very tight, so please stay quietly where you are, Riddle-san.”
Riddle was taken by surprise. “This voice… Is that you, Azul?”
“Yes.”
“How long have I been asleep? Where are we…?” Riddle asked.
“Unfortunately, the only person who can answer that question isn’t here with us.” Vil said from somewhere.
“It’s been about three hours since we were boarded onto this cramped cargo plane.” Jamil said. “I can’t see outside, so I can’t tell how far up we are or if we can safely jump out from here…All I can say is, we’re definitely ways off from the school.”
“Vil-senpai, and Jamil, too…” Riddle said to himself.
“Jamil is not a Prefect himself, so the reason should be easy to deduce.” Vil said. “Look, Leona is here with us, too. That practically gives it away.”
“Leona-senpai, too?” Riddle said in surprise.
“… Pretty bold of you to ask that when you’ve been using my lap as a pillow for three damn hours.” You could head the deadpan in Leona’s voice.
“Pardon!? Have I, really…? I-I’m so sorry! I will move immediately!” Riddle apologized before he carefully moved away.
“Watch out. Be careful not to bump into me.” Vil said before he scooted over a bit.
Azul cleared his throat. “Now that we’re all awake, let us take this time to review the situation. A magically equipped armed group took me into custody while I was in the middle of club activities… Idia-san and the men who took us captive seemed to be acquainted.”
Leona yawned. “I don’t know how those guys are related, but I have an idea who took us. I’ve seen those guys walking around in the palace back at the Afterglow Savannah. They’re S.T.Y.X’s special security unit, Charon. It’s their job to capture magicians who have overbloted or nearly overbloted so they could be transported to the Island of Woe.”
The atmosphere suddenly became so thick it could be cut with a knife.
