Ginny pov a few days later
Walking down the street with Luna after visiting Anastasia I smile seeing her looking around with her typical dreamy look while talking about something only she can see.
"Have you heard from your dad?" I ask.
"Oh yes, he says he's happy to hear from me and plans to come as soon as he finishes helping settle things there" she says smiling at me.
Getting bumped into by a woman I back up but before I can say anything she scoffs dusting her dress "you should watch where your walking" she snaps.
Looking at the blonde I raise my brow "you should learn how to dress without looking like a one knut prostitute" I snap.
"Oh, that's an unfortunate comparison but with that aura I don't know if anyone would pay more than tree knuts and that's being generous" Luna says looking above her head frowning.
"Scars don't help" I snark before tugging Luna along with me past the woman.
Walking a few steps I frown being cut off by a dark haired woman with a forced smile "I apologize for Tinkerbell she's still upset her wings haven't been returned to her" she says.
Looking at her I see her hand held out, seeing a bite mark and claw marks I raise my brow before looking at her again "not interested" I hiss walking past her heading for the diner.
"Ladies you shouldn't go there, a beast has taken over and it attacks anyone who goes in"
Laughing I wave her off "Crooks is an excellent judge of character he's a half kneazle, they are known for being incredibly intelligent I believe we will be trusting his judgement of you since he attacked you" Luna says since I'm trying to get my laughing to stop.
Heading in I stop and scratch behind his ear "hey Crooks are you working today?" I ask.
Feeling him head bump me I smile before moving to a booth sitting down, a moment later Crooks comes over dropping two menus off the cat trail Regina made for him leading around the restaurant.
"It's fascinating, each table has a way for him to knock these down for everyone" Luna says looking at the set up.
Finding paper and a pencil in the menu I chuckle looking at mine before writing my order then wait for Luna.
Once she writes hers on it I place it on the edge of the table, after a moment Crooks comes by taking it and heads to Red dropping it in front of her.
Seeing her nod moving to the back I raise my brow before seeing Granny come from the back checking everything "go back to relaxing Granny we got this" Red says before her Granny can say anything.
She huffs glaring at Red before coming to our booth sitting down "they've ran me out of my own restaurant" she grumbles.
"I think it's more about them taking care of you so you don't have to stress and worry, it's more of the younger ones giving the Elders the rest they deserve after taking care of everything as a leader" Luna says smiling.
Hermione pov
Walking up to the vet/shelter I see Cruella outside smoking "how are Crooks friends?" I ask.
"His mate is fine I've got her a high nutrition diet for her pregnancy, the twin is on heavy pain medication the infection is being cleared up I don't believe he will need any special equipment once recovered since his X-ray was fine, I'll know more once he's got movement again"
"His mate?" I ask frowning.
"She's pregnant and Crooks acted proud when we realized that he did confirm they are his kittens for me" she answers tossing her cigarette down before stepping on it and going in.
Following her in and to the back I move to look at the two cats Crooks brought me "did they tell you their names?" I ask.
"Si and Am" she answers tossing a folder to me that I barely catch.
Opening it I frown seeing myself listed as the owner but shrug it off, if Crooks has claimed them then I'll take them in I'm sure they will be sweet cats.
