Everyone was over at James apartment when finally Regulus asked the question everyone wanted to know. "Hey James, where's this dog, we keep hearing about?" so James pushed Sirius off the couch as he began to turn into a big black dog "oh he's right here." He told them as everyone looked at him.
"That's a grown ass man" Evan said looking at Sirius who is now Padfoot "yeah he's a little old, but hey, who said you can't teach old dogs new tricks? Ready watch this." He responded, by this time Sirius has already shifted back "ready, watch this. Speak."
Everyone turned and looked at Sirius who's on the couch watching his best friend. "Sup, bro." James started rubbing his hair as Sirius now on all fours smiled at them "Good boy." Everyone looked at James again "Yeah, he just spoke English. that's a grown- that's an actual human being." Regulus said looking James dead in the eyes.
"Yeah, Yeah, I guess he kinda does have that like human like personality" James explained tilting his head to the side looking at Sirius. "Cause it's a fucking dude, I feel like we are drastically overlooking the fact that this is just Sirius on all fours that you're... keeping in your house? or?" Dorcas looked around at everyone. "He's actually a rescue, did I mention that." James said sitting next to his best friend.
"What does that even mean in this context?" Pandora asked looking as they shrugged "It's a shame, I found him out wandering the train in first year, all by himself, one day. So I took him in." James explained like it made since.
"I was walking on the train in 1st year looking for compartment and he just trapped me" Sirius explained next with a nod "Okay, does he uh does he know your name dude." Barty looked at him "I call him Padfoot"
"It's actually Sirius" Everyone still in shock just looked at them "okay, so this is some type of kink thing?" Lily questioned "No dude, he genuinely thinks i'm a dog" Sirius told them "okay, even then, why are you going along with this?" Mary asked him "Free rent, free food"
"Still dude, that can't be" Marlene started "All the chocolate in the world, your own bedroom, free everything" Sirius went on "you get chocolate?" Remus looked interested at his boyfriend "Let me tell you the best of the best chocolate" Sirius explained.
"You need a pet rat?" Peter asked him everyone was still looking when Regulus started "Meow" he said looking at James now in his animagus cat form "Awww, hello Leo" Regulus immediately switched back "Okay, Fuck that" Everyone said as they shook their heads at James. They love him truly but sometimes he's crazy, but they love him none the less.
