"Are you going to ask Y/n out to Hogsmeade?" Sirius asked
James looked at Sirius confused "why should I if I don't see her like that."
"Are you sure because it seems to me that you do like her?" Sirius asks
James rolled his eyes, "I don't like her like that."
"Alright, don't come crying when someone has asked her out. " Sirius tells James
James crossed his arms "Whatever, I'm going to take a nap."
James went and lay down on his bed annoyed with Sirius while James slept Both Sirius and Remus talked
"Why do you like to annoyed James about Y/n? Padfoot." Remus asks
"Moony Maybe because Prongs likes Y/n." Sirius smiles
"Right, so if James doesn't take her out are you going to?"
"Of course, Y/n's a cutie. " Sirius grinned
"Why would you do that to James?He's your best friend."
"So James can learn what happens when you don't want to confess your feelings."
"Hey James, can I ask you something?" You asked, smiling
James smiles "of course what is it?"
"Do you want to go on a date with me?" You asked shyly
"I'm sorry Y/n but i don't want." James give you a sad look
You felt tears falling down from your cheeks "it's fine."
"I'm sorry Y/n I never wanted to hurt you." James tries to hug you but you backed away "I said it's fine."
But either of you notice that Sirius heard the whole conversation he was sad that you like James since he has like you for a long time his heart broken when he saw you leaving the common room crying
"If you don't go on that date with y/n I'll go." Sirius tells James as he walks in the common room
"You can go with her. I don't mind because as you know I'm in love with Lily." James tells Sirius back
"Yes, but she doesn't love you back."
"How would you know?"
"Because If she was in love with you she wouldn't be with Snivellus as much as she is, she would be with you instead of him."
James rolled his eyes "Whatever."
Sirius left the common room to go find you he smiled, hoping he might have a chance with you after all
He smiled when he spots you outside and he walked up to you with a smile on his face
"Hey princess Y/n." Sirius smiles
You looked up from the ground to look at Sirius "Hey Sirius wait did you call me princess y/n?"
Sirius nodded his head "Yes because you are a princess. my princess."
You smiled at Sirius "so if I'm your princess you're my prince."
Sirius grinned, "Princess, I like that idea." Sirius grabbed your hand to kiss it "Princess, do you want to go on a date to Hogsmeade with me?"
You smile "of course I would love to."
Sirius felt happiness though his body when you told him yes to the date
"Prongs she said yes to the date." Sirius jump up and down happily
James faked a smile. "I'm so glad so where are you taking her?"
"To Hogsmeade."
James covered himself so no one would recognize him at the Hogsmeade, he walked everywhere, but stopped when he saw Sirius and you smiling at each other
He notices how sweet and caring you are to his best friend now he realize how much he regrets not giving you a chance the more he looks at both of you the more he feels his heart break
He lets out a cry when he saw Sirius and you kissed, but he didn't notice that Sirius and you had caught him staring at both of you
Sirius and you got out of the shop that you two were in Sirius wants to tell his best friend a good news that you two were dating
"Hi Prongs, Y/n and I are dating."
James fakes a smile "I'm so happy for both of you anyway I have to go see you guys later."
James walked fast so one would hear him cry he fell down to his knees he cried "Please,Y/n love me again,I was so foolish for not giving you a chance now I have to suffer and see you as my best friend's girlfriend."
James quickly woke up noticing that he was sweating, he quickly got up to take a drink when he choked on his water when he heard that Sirius asked you out to Remus
"Sirius, what are you talking about?" James asked sadly
"Y/N said yes to be my girlfriend. " Sirius answers, smiling
"Why would you do that to me?" James asked mad
"I thought you didn't like her?" Sirius raised an eyebrow
"Well, guess what I do like her. " James cried and he left quickly
"James come back." Remus called out
"Remus let it go, he'll get over it." Sirius tells Remus
Remus gives Sirius a look "I don't know about that he looks so upset."
James walked around crying, but he quickly wiped off his tears when he spots you he walked up to you so he could talk to you
"James, are you ok? Have you been crying?" You asked concerned
James nods "Yes Y/n I've been crying."
"What why?"
"Because of you."
You give a confused look at James "me? What did I do to you?"
"You broke my heart."
"James, don't forget that you broke mine."
"I know I broke your heart, but you broke mine by going out with Sirius."
"James don't get mad at me for it, he's the one who asked me out."
"Well, you shouldn't have said no."
"Why do you care?"
"Because I like you."
"James don't you think it's too late? for that."
"I know it's too late now I have to suffer and see you as my best friend's girlfriend."
James got off of his bed and quickly pinned Sirius to the wall with Remus quickly trying to get James off
"James what got into you?" Remus asks shocked
"He's dating the love of my life." James quickly answers angrily
"I wonder who?"
"I'm talking about Y/n."
"I thought you said that you don't like her like that."
"Well, I do, why would you do that to me?" James asks in tears
"so you know your lesson."
"Break up with her so I could date her."
"James no."
"Yes, Remus I don't want Sirius to be dating the love of my life."
"Sorry James, I can't do that because I love Y/N."
"You want to see me suffer? well you are going to since I'm going to be seeing you all over Y/n everyday."
Sirius laughed while James starts crying Remus felt bad seeing James cry
"Patfoot stop, it's not funny." James cried out
"Sorry prongs, but it is. " Sirius laughs
"What's funny seeing me suffer?"
"No you're stupid it was a dream." Sirius shakes his head, laughing
"A dream? So you're not dating the love of my life." James asks in embarrassed
Sirius laughs "no I wish Y/n's beautiful."
"Don't forget pads, she's mine." James playful glares
"You better hurry up before I end up asking her out." Sirius teases
James was about to say something when he saw you coming into the common room He smiled
"Hey James, can I talk to you?" You smiled
James smiles back "of course and I also need to talk to you."
"That's our clue to leave."
"I was wondering if you would love to go to Hogsmeade with me?"
"As your boyfriend?" James asked with Hope
You blush "only if you want to be my boyfriend."
James grinned, "Well, now we're a couple."
"So what did you want to tell me?"
"I was going to ask you the same thing if you wanted to go to the Hogsmeade with me but you read my mind."
"I did good, didn't I?"
James grinned as he pulled you into a deep kissed, but minutes later you two pulled apart when you heard clapping
"Finally, James, it took you too long."
"Shut up pads."
"So could I join you two?" Sirius asks
"absolutely not." James tells Sirius
"Why not I'm your best friend?: Sirius fake being sad
"Best friend, but Y/N's my girlfriend I want to spend time alone with her." James kisses your cheek
"Wow, you're replacing me with her I see how it is." Sirius fakes crying as Remus laughs
"Sorry, not sorry, let's go love and enjoy our date to the Hogsmeade." James grabs your hand
You both walked away holding hands, but James stopped to kiss you again
James kisses you "I love you Mrs. future Potter."
"I love you too Mr. Potter." You smiled and kissed James
"That's too soon don't you think you two. " Sirius called out
"Shut up pads your Just jealous that you don't have a beautiful girlfriend Just like me."
"I thought I was your only beautiful person except for Remus here."
"Guys don't listen to Sirius, he's just jealous that he got replaced." Remus calls out laughing
"Hey, don't be on their side."
"Stop the PDA and go to your date you two."
"Don't worry Sirius you'll soon find a girlfriend, but right now enjoy our PDA and that now you have been replaced by my beautiful girlfriend."
