Idk-
Harry stared at the paintings which were now frozen. It's as if time had come to a full on stop and they were the only living people in the castle, none of the past had happened as if they were in the muggle world .
“I suspect they can’t talk or move because of the Time bubble. It makes sense if you think of it.” Harry muttered under his breath poppy looked over at the boy staring around the corridor while he was muttering under his breath why it made sense she agreed with him it does make sense time is going by but only cause it will be weird when they leave but the paintings are affected by it as the castle is too but not them or the sky yes it will probably be at night but it will forever stay the 13nth of November until they get to the end of the fourth book where they can do the chapters whenever as it’s the future so the adults can either read them together or just on a weekend they have a group reading it’s whatever happens the day they Finish.
When they arrived in the hospital wing poppy pointed to the usual area, the right far corner it’s the quietest one so he’s always used it. It's usually referred to Harry’s area by her as Harry won’t use a different one.
Poppy muttered the spell while Harry sat down; he glared at his feet while tracing a pattern into his thigh; he didn't like the wand pointing at him and soon parchment appeared.
“Poppy? Uh.. there’s something I’ve actually wanted to talk to you about.”
“Hm? I'm listening. I'll let this write while we can talk.” She said placing the parchment on the other bed next to Harry’s.
“I uh don’t know how to explain it but I usually get teased sometimes by the ravenclaws when I don’t understand what someone is staying. People laugh whenever I cover my ears in the hallways or in the common room
I get weird looks when I specifically have my food not touching. I've been called a few names because unicorns let me touch them” He paused to breath before adding”Theodore sometimes gets annoyed when i take too long to get changed as we always go down together he’s gotten used to it but I can’t help it sometimes clothes don’t fit me right so I start getting all frustrated. I get forced to be in the common room to socialise by the other boys in my dorm people are talking the portrait in the common room making noise the lights are always so bright the room is the same blue I can’t see other colours perfectly like others can but it’s still to much and I just don’t know.” Poppy took note of how Harry had gone from making a pattern in his thigh to rocking in his chair or making his hand go infront back to his chest really fast she got up and grabbed a heavy blanket its not a weighted one by any means but it’s heavy enough to help ground him hopefully so she wrapped him in it and it seemed to take affect and Harry’s breathing had come more even.
“I have an idea of what it is, Harry-“ Poppy soon stopped talking as she noticed the parchment had stopped growing in length.
“I might have forgotten about that hold on, let me just read through this really quickly Harry.” Harry nodded while adjusting the blanket around him.
“So I can see the issues now So you're for sure malnourished I can get some potions for that one potion that’s made for younger children nutrition potions they are called most likely to either taste like your favourite fruit or any sort of fruit after a few days you will be having to take another one for your height. Now for the more serious matters you have got some bones which need adjusting into where they should be but that’s mainly wrists and fingers over the next week or so you should feel the difference I’ll ask your friends to make sure you take the emotions I know what your like mr.”
“I get the idea poppy I can’t help it I forget.”
“I know.”
“Now if you will let me do another spell on you it will tell me if you have any learning disabilities or any other issues we should know that one was your health.”
“Eh, I don't care.” She shrugged and muttered the spell again while a peice of parchment appeared in her left hand.
“Seems I am correct about you being on the autism spectrum…”
Harry soon looked up in shock.
“What- so that’s what it was? Hermione was looking into the reasons why I do what I do but it wasn’t very helpful.”
“It probably wouldn’t be as it’s rare to get autistic wizards but you probably got it from your mother. She was diagnosed with autism before Hogwarts, so it’s not a big surprise.”
“Mum was also autistic?”
“Your father had adhd but you don’t it would be on this parchment it also says you have insomni.”
“Yeah that’s correct I always struggled with sleeping at the dursleys but here I don’t as often more around when the year gets to the bad part tests and all that.”
“Yeah I bet but I think we should make our way back to the hall- they probably want to carry on reading the potions that will appear when you need to take them so don’t worry about remembering to get them out..”
“Oh thank Merlin I always forget where I put things and then I suddenly remember a week later.”
“Done that too many times.” Poppy replied while they made their way back to the hall, Poppy having left the blanket on the bed knowing Harry will end up using that at the hospital wing now.
Harry and poppy went separate ways to their seats, Sirius Remus Tonks now and the Weasleys had moved slightly closer to the group.
“Don’t you dare just sit there, is everything okay?” Fred asked inpatient while Harry was staring at the ground.
“For the next month I’m on potions every single day.” Harry grumbled cussing Fred and those who know he hates them to laugh.
“Why are you laughing? What's the need?”
“The way you hate them but have to is funny?”
“Weird.” Harry said with a sigh while Poppy whispered something to Flitwick who’s eyes widened and nodded while Harry was tapping his fingers against his thigh.
“Now that I’m just realising they are back, we should carry on reading now.” Dumbledore said clapping his hands to gain the attention of everyone
Many nodded the quicker they do this the quicker they can Finish.
“Chapter 3 The letter and visit.”
