Needs more Chakra
A/N: hey guys another Story idea for anyone to pick up and try. This time set in my personal favorite anime world of Naruto.
Story Idea: Just needs more Chakra
So the premise of this story is partially inspired by an old fanfic called Naruto One Man Team and a few others that have Naruto scavenging through the village trash for valuable items and even Jutsu scrolls. However, for the fanfic, I am thinking that the clans are not so stupid as to throw out scrolls to working jutsu no matter what. Instead, they discard scrolls of what they believe to be failed experimental jutsu that they couldn’t get to work. Naruto comes across these discarded scrolls one day and takes them to see if he can use them. It turns out not that Naruto will know at first that all of the jutsu can be performed by him because of either his much larger charka reserves or his unique Uzumaki heritage (regeneration/ healing). I will give an example of some OC jutsu that you can use as a base to expand from. The one exception to the useful jutsu scrolls in the trash rule is from the Uchiha clan. The reason for this is because Sasuke was orphaned at such a young age and given complete control of his clan's property he doesn’t know that he shouldn’t throw away jutsu scrolls. So whenever he goes through his clan library looking for new jutsu and comes across any that he can’t use like recordings of Kekkai Genkais that other Uchihas recorded but couldn’t perform or just jutsus he is unable to do he throws them away focusing on finding jutsu to help in his revenge. Naruto can perform the jutsus but they don’t become common knowledge until the Chunin Exams specifically the preliminary matches.
After finding out about the Jutsu he is dragged in front of the Council and the Hokage and accused of theft espionage etc. He proves he didn’t steal them and the clans have to back down for now. This could lead to a variety of reactions and I don’t want an evil Ninja Council more one concerned with protecting clan secrets and such. This meeting with the council could lead to a variety of different events from marriage contracts submitted for Naruto to try and bring the ability to perform previously thought to be impossible jutsu into the clans. Or forcing Naruto to start a new clan with the support of the various clans he took the jutsu from.
The important part of this story is Naruto being at least somewhat stronger than he is in canon. He needs to have unique and original jutsu that can be derived from Clan techniques and skills but not a known canon skill. There are no shipping criteria beyond no (M/M) and no gender-bending characters. If you wish to write a harem that is fine but try to focus on a story. If you wish to bash characters or groups make sure it is fitting in the story and not just because.

From the Yamanaka Clan experiments
Bullet Time Perception: The basic purpose of this Jutsu was to Speed up the synapses in the brain to allow for a quicker thought process in combat and allow the user to perceive time as being slowed giving them more mental time to perform an action or counter an attack.
It was unable to be performed by normal members of the Yamanaka clan as the jutsu being used caused brain damage to the cast after 10 seconds. Naruto can use it because he can heal the damage faster than it can be done. Although even he can’t use it for 2 long as it is also extremely chakra draining.
From the Akamichi Clan experiments
Strength of the Giants: The goal of this Jutsu was to allow the Akimichi clan to gain the Strength that they have when in their giant form without having to expand into it. However, the Chakra cost was so high that no one was able to successfully perform the jutsu. The Jutsu when successfully performed makes the user's strength increase by a factor of 200 times. Naruto’s super large and dense charka allows him to perform this jutsu but even he can only hold it for about 1 minute.
These are two that I thought of when I first came up with this idea. Please note that the clans have to be from Konoha and not OCs or can be from other canon clans or villages but must be explained as being observations from past Uchiha.
