Agatha was invited to an interview for the promotion of her upcoming movie...
Agatha was on a phone call when someone hugged her from behind. She looked at the person behind her and smiled, continuing to talk to her manager.
"Uh, okay, okay..." Agatha responded.
"By the way, Drew invited you for an interview. I accepted it on your behalf; it's a good opportunity to promote your upcoming movie. Drew said that was the reason she invited you, so clear your schedule for this afternoon. The interview is at 3 p.m.," her manager said. Before Agatha could respond, her manager ended the call. Agatha sighed and turned around to give her attention to the person still hugging her.
"Are you going?" her lover asked.
Agatha held her lover’s face and smiled as she responded, "I have no choice, my love. The manager already said yes." She kissed her lover on the forehead. They hugged in silence, savoring the moment they had. Then, her lover said something that Agatha didn’t know how to respond to.
"Are we ever going to tell the world about us, Agatha?" her lover asked, waiting for her answer. Agatha hesitated, unsure how to respond.
"It’s okay, don’t mind it," her lover said, loosening the hug. But just as her lover began to pull away, Agatha tightened her embrace and whispered, "I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry, Rio. I know how much you want us to be open about our relationship, but I just can’t do it right now. Please, my love, wait for me. I’m doing my best to find a way out. Wait for me, please." Agatha tightened her hug around Rio as if afraid she might disappear at any moment. As usual, Rio didn’t say anything but just hugged Agatha, who was now crying and apologizing nonstop.
In the afternoon, Agatha waited for Drew to call her name, feeling anxious because Rio still hadn’t responded to her texts. Her phone vibrated, indicating she had received a message. Just as she was about to check it, Drew called her name, leaving her no time to see who the message was from.
Agatha smiled and approached Drew and the audience. Drew hugged her and said, "It’s nice to have you back here, Agatha."
"I’m glad to be back, too. It feels magical," Agatha responded, which made the audience laugh.
The interview was going smoothly until Drew asked her a question that made Agatha’s world stop.
"So, how are you and your husband? I heard you two are planning to have a baby," Drew said, smiling at Agatha.
Agatha smiled and gave her best acting response, "Well, my husband and I are doing well. As you heard, we’re planning to have a baby. Everything is fine. I love him, and he loves me, so yeah." Agatha said this, even though she wanted to shout to the world that she and her husband were already divorced, and that it was she and Rio who were trying to have a baby.
Without her knowing, Rio was in the audience, hearing everything and seeing the smile on Agatha’s face. It made her tear up and smile bitterly.
The interview ended, and Agatha approached her manager to get her phone and check if Rio had texted her back. As she looked at her phone, she saw Rio’s name in the notification, and she smiled. But when she read the message, her world stopped, and tears filled her eyes.
