Chapter 4
BEEP!BEEP!BEEP! I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. "You should throw that away." Uncle Regulus said looking at me. "I know,I know, I'm planning on it." I sat up on my elbows and ran one hand through my hair. "Come get your ass out of bed." "Noooooooooo." I said dramatically. "Get up." He said seriously. "No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"No"
"God, you are just like your father." He tried keyword: tried to get my blankets of me but his hand went straight through it. I tried not to laugh but I couldn't hold it in anymore. "Hahaha really funny, no get up."
"Girl, you look like shit." Luke said as I sat down. Luke was a very handsome boy, he had brown hair and these beautiful emerald green eyes. He was also one of the people that is actually kind to me, not many people here are. (Pic of Luke at the bottom of this chapter)
"Thanks Luke that really what I wanted to hear." You could smell the sarcasm. "Didn't sleep well?" He asked me with a full mouth of food. "What do you think?" I went to put some pancakes, bacon and some syrup on the pancakes. "Are you eating pancakes with syrup or syrup with pancakes?" Before I could answer uncle Regulus two hands covered my eyes. "Diggory, get your nasty ass hands of me or you won't have them anymore." I threatened him. "Sheez, love you too Black." He got his hands of me and took a seat next to me. He went and took a piece of bacon. "What do you think you are doing?" He smirked at me and took a bite. "Asshole." I muttered under my breath. "What was that?" He raised an eyebrow at me. "Nothing." I answered quickly.
"Welcome to Defence Against the Dark Art. I am your new professor, Remus Lupin." He turned his back at us and with a flick of his wand his name stood on the black Board. "I recognise a few faces here." He looked at me and Luke and smiled. Luke came by sometimes during summer or we spend Christmas or New year at his house. "So we are going to skip the whole 'introduce yourself' thing." He gave me a small smile, I always told him how much I hated that introduction thing.
The lesson went by quickly everyone was ready to pack up and leave when uncle Remus spoke up "Miss. Black and Mr. Patterson can you two stay behind?" We both nodded. Did we do something wrong? "So what do you guys think?" He asked as soon as the last person left the room. "Think what?" Luke asked sometimes he's really a fucking idiot. "His lesson Patterson." I spat at him. "You did really good unc-professor Lupin." I corrected myself. "You know you just can use uncle Moony when we are alone." He smiled. "I know." He gave me a hug. "You did great, Remus. But we have to got to the next class." After all these years of knowing Luke uncle Moony just said to use his first name and not Mr.Lupin. "Right, go on and if the teacher says something about being late just say that you had to stay behind." He waved us out the door.
"Miss.Black and Mr.Patterson why are you late?" Snape asked raising an eyebrow. "Professor Lupin told us to stay behind." I answered taking a seat next to George Weasley. Fred wasn't sitting next to him. He was trying to flirt with Angelina. "Now that your uncle as in professor here doesn't mean you can stay behind." I rolled my eyes I have been his target for years reason:my dad and uncle Remus and friends. "It was about the things we learned." With that he finally shut up.
"What's up Black?" I was friendly with the Weasley twins. Sometimes I even helped them with planning pranks or pulling them. "You know dad escaped from Azkaban but for the rest it is going great." I whispered. "I heard about that, aren't you happy that you have your dad back?" "Not really, he cares more about Potter then for his own daughter." Before he could answer we both got hit in the back of our heads by Snivellus. "Family problems we don't discuss them in my lessons. "
The rest of the day was boring as fuck. But at least we got the other half of the day free because those first years.
