Secrets and Mudbloods

The morning for the first day of school came quicker then Terra thought after her midnight check up with her creatures, glad to see they are all well, it was only a couple of hours later she woke up to feed them, getting dressed and grabbing her school books to put in her ‘Muggle Worthy’ section, she left the common room, Lulu hidden away in her robe pocket, she headed to room not that far from the Great Hall, looking at a piece of paper her Grandfather gave her on her birthday were instructions, telling her where she can go into her case without worrying of anyone finding out her secret. She entered a decent size room with small staircase for the entrance, it looked like a spare supply closet, several wooden heavily dusted shelves on one side of the stone wall, it had a tall narrow window to its right. She looked around smiling, picturing her Grandfather as a young student hiding away studying about magical creatures, even his friend Leta who became close during their time at Hogwarts.

Terra spotted an envelope on a tiny wooden stool addressed to her, she opens the letter and started to read.

============

Dear Miss Scamander,

This room as I'm sure you have been told is where you’ll do your duties to your magic creatures, if there is anything you need, simply just leave a note on the wooden stool and a member from the Kitchen Staff will pop by and do the task for you, getting food, supplies or other things for your creatures.

Hope your first day at school goes well.

       Sincerely Prof Dumbledore

After knowing where to go, Terra heads to the Great Hall for breakfast, on the way she heard a few students where gossiping about a flying car that crashed into the Whomping Willow, she had no idea what was going on, by the time she entered the Great Hall, she spotted Harry and Ron with Hermione, she heads towards, glad to see her friends.

“Morning,” Terra greeted sitting next to Hermione.

“Good morning Terra,” Hermione replied with a smile before going back to reading.

“Hi Terra,” Harry said.

“Hi,” said Ron, trying to find the end of the Spellotape roll.

“So, why is there a rumour about a flying car?” Terra asked as she dished out a bowl of porridge.

Harry told her how the barrier to the Platform closed on him and Ron making them miss the train, then Ron came up with the idea of using the Weasley’s Car to get to Hogwarts. Harry mentioned to Terra that before a House Elf named Dobby, appeared in his bedroom one night at Privet Drive to tell him to not come back to Hogwarts, that something bad is going to happen.

“That’s weird, I never heard of the barrier closing suddenly,” Terra muttered. “And the House Elf would not leave he’s master’s house with permission or unless it was an order, but why?”

“Your guess is as good as mine,” Harry replied.

Ron had finally found the end of the tape and rolled it around his broken wand, it did not look the best, but its better…somewhat.

“Say it, I'm doomed,” he said to Harry.

“You're doomed,” Harry repeated.

“Hi Harry,” a small squeaky voice said, then a flash a light, Terra blinked several times from that surprise. “I'm Colin Creevey, I'm in Gryffindor too.”

“Hi Colin.”

The owl post arrived, Arch landed on Terra’s shoulder nibbling at her ear, his saying of ‘good morning’ after dropping a letter near her bowl, then to her surprise Hedwig landed on her other shoulder.

“Hi Hedwig,” she said, the Snowy Owl hooted softly, then turned to screech at Harry, before flying off. “What’s up with her?” she asked Harry.

“We had a rough landing to Hogwarts, so she’s not talking to me.”

She looks at Arch.

“You know what to do Arch.”

Arch hooted while nuzzling her cheek before flying off after Hedwig.

“Arch will talk to Hedwig,” Terra told Harry.

When the Head of Houses began to hand out the students planners, Terra headed back to the Hufflepuff Table to get hers, it was by the time she looked over what she had today, when the sound of something crashed on the Gryffindor Table, an old grey Owl crash landed into a milk jug near the Golden Trio, she noticed something red in the Owl’s mouth, and she could see smoke rise from it.

“Uh oh,” Terra muttered, knowing what it is.

“Look everyone, Weasley’s got himself a Howler,” Seamus called out.

Terra covered her ears quick as Ron opened it, the sound of Mrs Weasley’s voice echoed in the Great Hall, she never heard anything so loud in her life, and hopes to never get a Howler herself, once that was over, they made their way to the first lesson of term. Herbology was not her favourite subject but she was not bad at it just not her favourite, she did recognized the plants as she has to for potion ingredients, a slight cheat for knowing most thanks to her mother and Grandfather when it came to looking after Magical Creatures, while dealing with Mandrakes on tables of five, Harry, Hermione Terra and Ron where joined by Justin another Hufflepuff, he would not shut up about Lockhart and his ‘achievements’, the Gryffindor boys where glad that Terra sided with them about their new DADA Teacher, and speaking of said person they had his class next.

Terra sat with Hermione who dragged the Hufflepuff near the front of the row of seats, while Harry and Ron took their chance to be as far as possible from the front row, she looked over her shoulder giving the two boys a pleading look for help, but they only shrugged their shoulders in a ‘it’s too late now’ just as Lockhart exited his office.

“Let me introduce your new Defence Against the Dark Arts Teacher,” he said looking down into the classroom. “Me.”

Terra had to stop herself from rolling her eyes, next lesson she is going to sit with Harry or Ron, seeing the other girls Hermione included awed as Lockhart spoke of himself, she tried to find something to look at instead of him, but seeing how nearly every wall and corner in the room is covered by self-paintings  of Lockhart, so that was no help. She only began to listen when he took out his wand and tap a cage covered by a sheet on the front desk, it began to move.

“You may find yourselves facing your worse fears in this room,” said Lockhart. “Know only that no harm can befall you whilst I am here, all I ask is that you remain calm.”

Terra seemed to find that hard to believe, keeping her eyes on the moving cage, she has a feeling of knowing what is hiding underneath.

“I must ask you not to scream,” said Lockhart in a low voice. “It might provoke them.”

He then whipped off the cover and she knew it.

“Cornish Pixies?!” Seamus snorted.

“Freshly caught Cornish Pixies,” Lockhart said dramatically, that only made most of the boys laugh. “Laugh if you will Mr Finnegan, but Pixies can be devilishly tricky little blighters.”

Terra watched as he moves his hand to the lock of the cage. Not a good idea.

“Let’s see what you make of them now!”

In seconds the classroom was in chaos, the Pixies where throwing anything they could get their hands on, books, quills, ink bottles, even poor Neville was lifted up by two of them by the ears, and leave him hanging from the iron candelabras, the students made a run for the door leaving everything behind, only Terra, Harry, Ron, and Hermione where the only ones left.

“Get off me!” Hermione shrieked, as a Pixie is pulling her hair.

“Stop hold still!” Harry instructed, then whacking the pixie with the book sending it flying across the room.

“Peskipiksi Pesternomi!” Lockhart casted, but nothing happened, and a Pixie took its chance, steals his wand, and throws it out the window.

“I’ll ask you four to just nip the rest of them back into their cage,” he said then heading back into his office, shutting the door quickly behind him.

The quartet looked at one another, holding books using them as shields and to whack the Pixies.

“What do we do now!” Ron complained while whacking away.

Terra stood up, drew her wand, and points it up into the horde of Pixies.

“Immobulus!”

In a blue flash, all the Pixies froze in the air, slowly flouting around, calm was restored now they had to gather them and get Neville down.

“Why is it always me?” Neville complained.

After the Pixies fiasco, the weeks flew by quietly, Terra’s routine taking care of her Creatures early in the morning and shortly after tea before curfew has been successful, Rolf would sometimes join her to either help her or for him to relax after a hard studying for his NEWT’s and Head Boy duties. On Saturday morning after getting more woodlice for Lulu, she found a tree full of Bowtruckles, she befriended them giving them a fair share of woodlice while Lulu hidden herself due to shyness.

Walking down the path up to the castle, she spotted Harry wearing his Quidditch gear and Hermione holding an ill looking Ron heading to Hagrid’s Hut, she hurried after them and knocked the door for them, Hagrid opens the door and lets them inside, Fang hurried to Terra excited to see her again, as she sat down petting the Boarhound, she asked what happened to Ron. Harry explained that during his team’s first training of the season the Slytherins team showed up with ‘special’ permission from Snape so their new Seeker Malfoy could train. Hermione said that he brought his way into the team by giving them new Broomsticks, and said that the Gryffindor’s team have pure talent, and when she said Malfoy called her a Mudblood, Terra gasped loudly covering her mouth with her free hand. She was disgusted that Draco said that word but is not surprised seeing how his Father would have said it on more than one occasion.

She put together that Ron tried to curse Draco but with his wand broken it backfired bad, the redhead weakly explained what that word meant to Harry and Hermione due to being around muggle relatives, not long after, Hagrid accompanied them back to the castle, Harry asked where she was this morning, she said she fancied a walk near the forest, but as she talked to Hermione, Harry thought he spotted a green leaf with eyes poke out of her pocket and quickly hide. But he soon forgot about it when Professor McGonagall showed up telling him and Ron what they were going to do in their detentions tonight.

October arrived and with it many students coming down with bad cases of cold, Terra was surprised she had not gotten a cold herself even after one storm that made it look like she fallen into the lake. Because of the weather she had planned to let some of her creatures out of her case to get to feel the forest, thinking the thickness of the trees would cover most of the rain she was mistaken, lightning had stroke the same Bowtruckle’s Tree she had found weeks ago, thankful back to befriend them  enough to get them into her case to safety.

On her way back she pass the Thestral herd near the treeline of the forest, and spotted a first year, Terra recognised her from the Sorting Ceremony, Luna Lovegood has a unique personality, her dreamy attitude is something Terra never came across, they petted the Thestrals and bonded, Terra was glad to meet another person like her when it came to Magical Creatures, when Luna talked about creatures she never heard her off, made her think about if her Grandfather heard any of them in his travels, they headed back into the castle when the weather got even worse, they split up when they got near the Great Staircase, heading to her secret room she came across Harry in his Quidditch uniform again but drenched and covered in mud leaving a muddy footprint trail behind him, he was talking to the Gryffindor Ghost Sir Nick, as she approached them she saw Mrs Norris appear out of nowhere near Harry’s ankles, if she was here Filch would not be far behind. Just as she was about to get her wand out to get rid of the mud after learning the spell when she got her wand, Filch appeared and ordered Harry to follow him.

Harry turned to wave gloomy to Nick and when he noticed Terra he gave her a small smile before following the caretaker, she walked towards Nick watching Harry leave.

“That’s unfair,” Terra said walking up to Nick.

“Indeed, Young Scamander,” Nick replied. “But I believe I know just how to help him; I just need to find Peeves.”

“With any luck he would be in the trophy room by now,” Terra said.

“You think so?”

“To avoid people, you need to learn where they go.”

“Righto, wait near Filch’s Office young Scamander.”

She watched Sir Nicholas float away upwards before heading down the corridor where Harry followed Filch, she may have never stepped in the office nor would she want to, she made it to the office when a loud bang came from above, she heard Filch call out the poltergeist’s name. Terra quickly hid as the door open, poked around her hiding spot seeing the caretaker and his cat hurrying off to where the bang came from, she stay where she was knowing that Filch would be back before she can get any closer to the door. In no time Filch came back with a pleased look on his face, and in no less than three minutes Harry was out. He spotted her and the two hurried off before Filch finds another stupid reason to get them into trouble.

When they went upstairs to see the wreckage of a large black and gold cabinet that from the look of it dropped from a great height.

“Harry! Harry! Did it work?” Sir Nicholas called out gliding towards them.

“Was that you?” Harry said gratefully. “Yeah, it worked, I didn’t even get detention, thanks Nick!”

“Well after Terra informed me where Peeves was, I only had to persuaded him to crash it right over Filch’s Office.”

The three walked down the corridor.

“I wish there was something I could do for you about the Headless Hunt,” Harry said.

Nick stopped in his tracks, making the two Second Years walk right through him, give them an icy cold chill making the shiver.

“But there is something you could do for me,” Nick replied excitedly.

He told them that it will be his Deathday on Halloween and he invited Harry, Terra, Ron, and Hermione to attend, they agreed and parted ways, as Harry and Terra walked down another corridor a thought came to Harry.

“Hang on, how did you know where Peeves was?” Harry questioned Terra.

“Well, he spends most of the time in the Trophy Room he may do different things every day, but he loves causing chaos in that room.”

“I guess that makes sense,” said Harry.

He just noticed that she had mud on her robes and hands, and is holding her case that she takes to classes, he recalled how she did this last year keeping her school bag on her at all times even when they didn’t have lessons, he didn’t ask why she was carrying it everywhere, but he had a feeling that Terra was hiding something.

After heading back to their respected Common Rooms to get changed and cleaned up, everyone headed down for tea before curfew, Harry was looking at Terra sitting with her brother the two seem to be in deep conversation and the case was in between the siblings on the floor. The thought of from before came back into his mind.

“Have you ever wondered where Terra goes when she is not with us?” Harry asked Hermione and Ron.

“Hanging out with her brother from the looks of it,” said Ron not looking up from his plate.

“He is Head Boy, he would be busy I would imagine,” said Hermione, looking over to the Scamander siblings.

“We wonder too,” the Weasley twins say, who overheard Harry’s question.

“We noticed she goes to the west wing every day after classes are done,” Fred said.

“And is usually hurries off after tea too.” George said after.

“How do you know that?” Ron questioned.

“Watch and learn,” the twin sync.

Speaking of which, Terra stands up from her seat, grabs her suitcase and starts walking away from Hufflepuff table heading out of the Hall.

“Come on,” Harry says to Ron and Hermione, the twins look at each other, shrugged and follow the Golden Trio.

When the Gryffindors left the Hall they could see Terra hurrying up the stairs taking two steps at a time, they quickly followed her keeping their distances, they stopped a hidden themselves as Terra look over her shoulder every now and then making sure she wasn’t followed, she opens a door to a small room and closes it behind her. The others reach the door, they enter the room only to find a small set of stairs going up and her suitcase is on the floor, but Terra was not there.

“What?!” said Ron.

“Where’d she go?” Harry said shortly after.

“Oh of course,” Hermione says smacking her forehead, she opens the case, they looked down they see a small wooden ladder going down into a working space.

“Wicked,” the twins sync.

Harry enters first, then Hermione then the twins Ron was the last but makes them trip down landing in a heap at the bottom, the case closes behind them, they groan in pain from the impact and slowly tried to get up from the dogpile.

“Oh, nice one Ron,” Fred groaned.

“It’s not my fault the steps a narrow,” Ron spat at his brother.

Harry is the first to stand up, looking at the workspace in awe, books on shelves, pots, and jars in one corner, a low chair next to a small table with framed photos, and a long bench top with a chopping broad and potted plants against one wall not far from a door.

The door opens, the Gryffindors look up to see the Hufflepuff her black robe off as well as her tie her long sleeves rolled up, her wand in a holster on her belt.

“Wh-what are you lot doing here?!” Terra demanded, her face shocked and annoyed.

“We were wondering where you head off too,” Harry spoke first.

“It was their idea to follow you,” Ron says pointing with his thumb at his twin brother’s behind him.

“Was not!” they replied.

“Terra what is going on?” Hermione asked.

Terra sighed in defeat.

“Well, it would be a matter of time for one of you to find out. Come on,” she turns to the door. “Oh, and uh can you remove your cloaks before entering please, there’s a coat rack over there,” she points to a corner where her cloak is.

They did as they were told, and hang them next to the Hufflepuff’s cloak, they took there wands too as Scamander did not say anything about it.

Harry opens the door slowly and his eyes widen at the sight.

“Whoa!” Harry says opening the door fully for the others to see.

“Bloody hell!” the Weasleys sync.

“This is incredible!” Hermione says the last to enter, shutting the door behind her.

They spot Terra in a mountain area, she is looking up at something, something big.

“Come on Apollo, down you come.”

The Gryffindors look up seeing a massive bird creature, the upper body of an eagle, the back end of a lion, the creature landed on the high rock where Terra is standing near, the creature started nuzzling its beck in Terra’s face, making some cuffing noises, Terra giggles and nuzzles back at the beast, stroking under its chin.

“That’s a Griffin?!” Hermione gasped.

“Yep this is Apollo.”

Harry stepped forward, Apollo spotted him, it growled at the boy.

“No, no,” Terra stretches her arm out back at Harry before going back to petting Apollo. “You lot stay back, he’s not keen of first-time strangers, I found him in Corfu a few years ago, caught in a trap, poor thing could barely move, he would’ve died if Grandfather and I didn’t found him.”

She steps back, grabs a slab of wild-boar ribcage with both hands from the wheelbarrow and throws it high in the air, Apollo catches it with its eagle claws and flies to high ground. Terra walks away, cleaning her hands with an towel, once down she cups her hands to her mouth and calls out a low roar, and it echoed, she grabs the wheelbarrow and wheels it away from the griffin paddock, the Gryffindors watch as creatures can be heard from all other, they stayed close together and follow the Hufflepuff, they hear her call out a roar again in another paddock, the second one was different from Apollo’s

“Here their come.”

“Here what comes?” Ron says.

Three four-legged stub horned creatures came running towards them, they are the size of ponies, Ron let out a whimper of fright while stepping back.

“It’s okay, stand your ground,” Terra told them.

The three beasts run up to Terra, the Hufflepuff kneels down to be at their eye level.

“Hello,” the three rubbed their heads on Terra’s shoulders. “You lot are getting big.”

“Graphorns!” Hermione gasped, noticing what they were, as they wonder to the other students.

“How do you know?” Ron questioned, stood frozen as one circles around him nuzzling its head on his right knee.

“I've read Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” Hermione said in a duh tone.

“Their youngsters, their parents were killed by hunters,” Terra explained while throwing three slabs of meat away from them so the Graphorns can eat.

Terra again moves with the wheelbarrow away from the paddock and the Gryffindors follow her, Hermione then sees a familiar creature from the corner of her eye.

“Terra is that the unicorn foal from last year,” she asked

“Yeah, Glenn is doing well.”

“Glenn?”

“Yeah he likes the name, oh Hermione could you give him this,” Terra asked handing her a small sack of hay. “I need to check on the Goldies.”

“Goldies?” Said Fred.

“You’ll see,” Terra said with a smile.

Harry only realised that Terra was not the same Terra in class, not stuttering her words, not avoiding eye contact, this was Terra Scamander doing what she loves doing, caring for Magical Creatures. They were coming close to a very big bird house with multiple windows, Terra whistled a tune and 12 small golden round bird zoomed out towards them, Harry noticed the bird sound a lot like the Golden Snitch.

“I see what you mean by Goldies Terra,” said George as one of the birds flew close to his face curiously.

“Golden Snidget the original Golden Snitch,” Terra says. “Ron, Fred, George could you give them some sugar water,” she handed two half pint cups lid with holes on top to the Twins. “Keep your arm straight so they can land on them, like this.”

She grabbed another cup and showed them how to hold their arm out, and at once four of the Snidgets came flying over and started to drink two of them rested on her hand holding the cup.

“How will we know when they are done?” Ron asked.

“They’ll fly off.”

The Twins did as showed and the rest of the Snidgets began to drink, Terra passed her cup to Ron so she could proceeded with other tasks, she and Harry headed to a small tree, Harry knew what they were from Terra’s drawings. The eight Bowtruckles chirped as the saw the Hufflepuff, she got a glass bottle with brown stuff inside.

“What happen to them?” Harry asked noticing the chard marks on them.

“Their home tree in the dark forest got destroyed in a lightning storm today, see how they got a few burns on them,” Terra explained while opening the bottle and puts her finger in it, getting a sticky light brown stuff out, the Bowtruckles make their way to her excitedly.

“Ok settle down you lot, there is more than enough for all of you.” She begins to gently rub the brown stuff on the Bowtruckles burns, Harry can hear them purring.

“What are you giving them?” he asked.

“Maple syrup, they’re made from trees and it’s a great burn remedy for them,” Terra explained putting the syrup on the last Bowtruckle.

Harry then spotted a green thing poking out of her shirt pocket.

“Uh there’s one on you,” Harry pointed out.

“Oh, this is Lulu, it’s alright Lu come and say hello.”

Lulu left the pocket and on to Terra’s shoulder and shyly wave at Harry, he smiled, after Terra cleaned her hands from the syrup to get the Bowtruckle on her hand.

“Hang on, has she been with you since the start of term?” Harry asked.

“Um yeah, she is attached to me, I try to get her to meet other Bowtruckles, but it takes time.”

She moves Lulu to the tree but the little Bowtruckle steps back, Terra moves her free hand to behind her other hand, the other Bowtruckles look at Lulu, but Lu kept on trying to back away.

“Is that why you were in the forest?”

“Kind of, I was hoping to let some of my lot to get to know the forest,” she said while still moving her hands to keep Lulu near the tree. “Come on Lu, they aren’t mean they just curious, come on,” she says then stops moving her hand.

Lulu still walked backwards, fell off but grabbed on to her finger, giving the Hufflepuff a pleading look.

“Ok, we’ll try again later,” she puts Lulu on her shoulder, and walks away.

“How come Lu won’t join them?” Harry asked following her.

“From what Grandfather told me, she thinks I'm a tree, just like Pickett my Grandfather’s Bowtruckle thinks he is for him,” Terra explained as Lulu crawled up on top of her head.

“Okay now to check on Susie,” she said as she dropped down to a dirt borrow.

Harry followed down, and was taken back by what was inside, a small den full of shining objects, coins, jewels, for a moment he thought he was in a vault at Gringotts.

“Susie come here,” she called out gently.

Slowly the Niffler exited the den, Harry watched as the creature limped towards Terra, the Hufflepuff kneeled down and picked up the Niffler gently with both hands, looking around its chest, back and under the armpit where the furless patches are.

“Good, the cream is working, about another week and the marks will be gone,” Terra said, hugging Susie to her chest, petting her head.

She looks up at Harry.

“Harry could you hold her for a second,” she asked.

“Oh, um sure,” he says.

Terra placed Susie in Harry’s arms, he copied how she was holding the Niffler, as he hold it Susie nuzzled into his arm getting comfortable.

“She likes you,” Terra giggled, opening a tin jar with lime green paste inside.

“She might smell the treacle tart I had for dessert,” Harry said with a small smile.

He hold Susie as Terra applied the paste on the sores, once done, she took Susie from Harry and gently placed her back to its den. Then she noticed something was missing.

“Oh no where’s Puck?” she said looking around.

“Oi!” George shouted.

“Get back here!” Fred shouted shortly after his twin.

Terra signed and hurried off towards the shouting, Harry not far behind, the twins tried to catch Puck, jumping and dodging easily.

“Puck freeze!” Terra ordered in a raised voice.

The Niffler freezes just as he was told looking up at Terra.

“Hand it over,” she scolded at the Niffler.

Puck tried to make another runner, but Terra catches him, she holds him by the back legs and tips him upside down with one hand and starts to tickling the Niffler’s stomach, they hear him chuffing as if he was laughing as a couple of Knuts and Sickles fall from his pooch.

The twins grabs their money putting them back into their pockets.

“Sorry it’s hard for him to stop at the moment, seeing as he is trying to impress his lady friend.”

Puck jumps out of Terra’s hold, running to its den, they watched as he snuggles next to Susie as they settle.

“Awww,” Hermione cooed seeing the cute sight.

After making sure the Nifflers were settled, Terra headed to the last paddock, the Gryffindors followed, inside it was dark with a moonlight glow to help them see where they were going, Terra squatted down near some rocks hiding them, and gestured them to do the same, placing a finger to her lips telling them to be quiet, she looked over the rock, Harry looked over too, then Hermione, Ron, Fred, and George, their eyes widened. In a small opening patch of long grass, a white Fox with five tails laid in a makeshift den of twigs, cotton, and flowers and a second orange Fox with six tails stood guard.

“Kitsunes,” Terra whispered to the others. “They mate for life, and are expecting a litter any day now.”

Harry looked over to the White Kitsune and did notice a swallow stomach, Terra started to move towards them, she gestured the Gryffindors to stay hidden, they watched as Terra slowly made her way towards them, the guarding Kitsune spotted her, it hissed at her its tails standing on end displayed like a peacock, Terra remained calm, slowly kneeled down on the grass, Lulu crawled from the top of her head to her shoulder, and bowed her head and Lulu copied Terra, the Kitsune stopped its hissing, relaxed and walked towards her and  places its forehead on to her.

“Whoa,” Ron said in awe.

Terra raised from her bow, and slowly crawled to the white Kitsune, when she sat down crossed leg near the den, she gestured the other to approach with her hand, Harry was the first to come out from the rocks, the orange Kitsune once hissed again tails up, Harry stopped moving.

“Bow like I did,” Terra told him. “Show him respect.”

Harry did as he was told, shakily but slowly kneeled on the grass, and bowed like Terra did, taking steady breaths not knowing how long it will take for it to accept him near its home, but when he felt the soft fur on his forehead he sighed in relief.

“Well done Harry, stay low too do not stand until you are away from the den.”

It took a good three minutes for Hermione, Ron, and the twins to approach too, soon they are all sat down near the den the white Kitsune looked at them all tiredly.

“Why did we have to bow like that,” Hermione asked.

“The Kitsune are one of the oldest living magical creatures in Japan, they deserved respect, and we must show respect to the elders, when Shun pressed his forehead on to ours mains we have passage to his home.”

“Do you have do that every time?” said George as Shun walked passed him, his tails brushed him and his Twin.

“Yes, but I don’t check on them every day, just as they deserved respect they value they privacy, more than ever now that Sakura is having a litter, but I need to be here for the birthing.”

She stroked Sakura white fur gently while feeling around the stomach.

“Why?” Ron asked.

“They were trafficked, Sakura kept on having a litter but never be a true mother, the people who had them would take her pups before they have a chance to open their eyes, and because of this she cannot produce the milk for her young.”

“That’s horrible,” Hemione said with disgust. “Why would do that?”

“Their fur is so soft they are sold to rich wizardry families as pets, or is used in fashion, Dad had them confiscated before going to America to the Thunderbird Sanctuary.”

Shun moved towards his mate and licks her head before lying down next to her.

“Come on, it’s time to leave them be,” Terra says getting up but still low enough to not disrespect the Kitsune.

The other mimicked and followed when they were out of sight they all stood up right.

“Terra does Dumbledore know about this?” Hermione asked.

“Yeah, he and Grandfather arranged this, and my brother’s creatures are here too, but they are a part of the Care of Magical Creatures classes, Bunty would have her hands full if she had all of them to look after.”

“Wicked,” the Twins synced.

“You guys do promise not to tell anyone else about this will you?”

“Of course,” Harry said quickly. “And if you need any help you can just ask us.”

The other Gryffindors nodded in agreement

“Thank you,” Terra said smiling at them.
