Bruce’s Favorite Future Daughter-in-Law(s)
Bruce Wayne was not a man of many words.
He didn’t go around announcing his opinions on things—especially when it came to his children’s personal lives.
But when it came to Cassie Jordan and Natalia Queen?
Well.
Let’s just say he had his favorites.
Bruce was sitting in his study, going through League reports, when he heard voices outside the door.
"I swear, if you do not put me down, Wayne, I will actually kill you—"
"You threatened me five minutes ago, yet here i am, still alive."
Bruce sighed, glancing up just as Damian walked in—
With Cassie thrown over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
Cassie looked directly at Bruce.
"Your son is a menace."
"I am aware," Bruce replied evenly.
Cassie flailed slightly before just accepting her fate.
"Okay, but, like—aren’t you supposed to be a good parent and tell him to let me go?"
Bruce turned a page in his report.
"You seem unharmed."
Cassie gasped.
"You’re enabling him!"
Damian smirked. "Tt. Father is merely choosing his battles."
Cassie groaned.
Bruce?
Bruce just sipped his coffee.
Because honestly?
Cassie was a good influence on Damian.
She challenged him, kept up with him, and most importantly—she made him happy.
Bruce wasn’t going to interfere with that.
Even if it meant watching his son carry his girlfriend around the house like a medieval barbarian.
Selina Kyle had seen many things in her life.
But watching her daughter's girlfriend absolutely wreck Stella at Mario Kart?
This was new.
"NO! THAT RED SHELL WAS PERSONAL!" Stella yelled, gripping the controller like her life depended on it.
Natalia, completely unbothered, grinned. "Skill issue, Wayne."
Selina, lounging on the couch, sipped her wine.
"You know, Stella, maybe if you spent as much time practicing as you do brooding, you wouldn’t lose so badly."
Stella gasped dramatically, turning to her mother. "Not you too!"
Selina smirked, glancing at Natalia.
"I like her."
Natalia beamed, throwing an arm around Stella’s shoulders. "I like you too, Miss Kyle."
Selina waved a hand. "Please. It’s Selina."
Stella just sank deeper into the couch.
Because not only was she losing at Mario Kart, but now her mother and girlfriend were teaming up against her.
And honestly?
There was no way out of this.
Bruce was at the Batcomputer, analyzing case files, when Selina slid up beside him, perching on the desk.
"So," she mused. "How long before we start planning weddings?"
Bruce didn’t even look up.
"They’re teenagers, Selina."
"Mmm. But they’re our teenagers. And we both know how stubborn they are."
Bruce exhaled, rubbing his temples.
Because, honestly?
She wasn’t wrong.
Selina smirked, pressing a kiss to his cheek before hopping off the desk.
"I call dibs on picking Stella’s dress."
Bruce just sighed, already mentally preparing himself for the future.
Because if nothing else, he was sure of one thing.
Cassie and Natalia?
They weren’t going anywhere.
And honestly?
He was okay with that.
