Eyes on the prize, Robin.

The Watchtower was as impressive as ever—a fortress in space, floating above Earth, home to the Justice League’s greatest heroes. For Stella and Damian Wayne, it was just another day tagging along with their father.

For Cassie, it was game day.

She had one goal—win.

Which was why, at this very moment, she was standing in the Watchtower’s training room, grinning as she knocked Natalia flat onto her back.

“And that makes three,” Cassie smirked, stepping back and offering a hand.

Natalia groaned and took it, letting Cassie pull her up. “Unbelievable,” she muttered. “I swear you cheat.”

Cassie grinned. “I win. There’s a difference.”

Natalia huffed, crossing her arms. “Whatever.”

Stella, leaning against the wall, smirked. “Face it, Queen. Cass is just better.”

Cassie shot her a smug look. “Wanna test that theory, Wayne?”

Stella pushed off the wall. “You’re on, Blue.”

Natalia backed up immediately. “Oh, this is gonna be good.”

Cassie and Stella faced each other in the center of the sparring ring, stretching out their arms.

“You ready?” Cassie asked, bouncing on her heels.

Stella smirked. “You wish.”

And with that, they fought.

The room filled with the sound of footsteps, fists, and sharp exhales. Stella moved like a shadow, quick and unpredictable—but Cassie moved like light, adapting with fluid grace.

They traded blows, counters, dodges—until Cassie swept Stella’s leg, knocking her off balance.

Before Stella could react, Cassie pinned her, twisting her arm behind her back.

“Yield.” Cassie’s voice was breathless but steady.

Stella sighed against the mat. “Fine. You win.”

Cassie released her, stepping back and running a hand through her sweaty blue-black hair. “Damn, Wayne. You almost had me there.”

Natalia clapped. “That was beautiful. I felt that in my soul.

Cassie grinned, wiping sweat from her forehead. “I’m just built different.”

And then—

She felt it.

A gaze.

His gaze.

Across the room, Damian Wayne was staring.

Cassie turned slightly, locking eyes with him.

And oh, he looked—

Dazed.

Like he wasn’t really here, like his mind was somewhere else entirely. His green eyes were fixed on her, tracing the sweat-slicked skin, the way her Lantern uniform clung to her, the way her chest rose and fell from exertion.

Cassie raised an eyebrow. “You good, Wayne?”

Damian blinked once, snapped back to reality. His jaw tightened.

“Tt,” he muttered, looking away.

Cassie grinned.

She had seen that look before.

She turned back to Natalia and Stella, pretending she didn’t absolutely know that Damian was still watching her.

Stella narrowed her eyes. “You staring at my friend for a reason?”

Cassie sputtered. “Stella—”

“No,” Damian said immediately, straightening. “I was simply... analyzing her technique.”

Natalia snorted. “Analyzing, huh?”

Stella groaned, rubbing her temples. “Oh, this is my life now.”

Cassie smirked. “Well, Damian, if you wanna analyze my technique so bad, I could always spar with you next.”

Damian turned to her, something sharp and electric in his gaze.

“I accept.”

Cassie grinned.

Oh, this was gonna be fun.
