Snake Raised Lion Cub
Summary
You have all heard the story before, the story of The Boy Who Lived and how he defeated He Who Shall Not Be Named, but what if that night had gone differently, all those years ago? What if on the night Dumbledore left him on that front stoop instead of the Dursley's there had been a different family roaming the halls of number four Privet Drive. Well, this is that story. This story is inspired by two different creators on TikTok and their serieses. One is Adrian and his series Hogwarts Transfer Student. The other is Abby and her series The Lordship Crisis. I love their serieses and probably wouldn't have been able to flesh out these ideas without them. So enjoy, and please check them out if you get the chance.

Family Reunion

Azalea was scurrying around her house trying to get things set up for the man Sirius had called Regulus. "How is he Cissa?" She asked as she set up more blankets on the couch.
Narcissa was sitting beside Regulus biting her lip, "He's breathing just fine, his temperature is still a bit too low for my liking but all other vitals are coming up clean." She looked over at Azalea, "Honestly this is a first for me, I've never heard of the ritual doing something like this."
Azalea nodded, "I've got a flu call into Memaw, and Daisey's already off to the local branch of the family to see if they know anything." She stated as she tucked another blanket around Regulas, gasping when his cold hand came up and wrapped around her wrist, holding it in place.
Regulus' eyes were cracked open and staring up at Azalea, "Why are you here, Angel?" His voice croaked out, his icy hand rubbing her wrist and hand soothingly. "It's not safe here for good girls like you."
Sirius had come running in at the sound of his brother's voice, his eyes blown wide in shock at the way Regulus was acting with Azalea. "Bloody hell Redg, and you always complained about the way I was with girls. Not even fully awake and putting the moves on her." At the sound of Sirius' voice Regulus jumped, and dropped Azalea's hand, his eyes finally focussing on the room.
"Siri?" Regulus asked softly, before his eyes went wide. "Sirius, Peter he's working for The Dark Lord, you have to warn James and-" He cut off when he saw Remus and Sirius' expressions.
"We know Reg. James and Lily, they're gone." Sirius' voice was sad, tears gathering in the corner of his eye. "Their son's still alive though" He smirked, "You were just flirting with his adoptive mother." Azalea smacked Sirius' shoulder.
"Watch it furball, my offer to build a doghouse for you out in that back garden still stands." She stated firmly, before turning to Regulus with a gentle smile. "It's nice to meet you Regulus, my name's Azalea Rose, Sirius has spoken a great deal about you, as has Narcissa." Regulus' eyes grew even wider, if possible, as he gazed at Azalea, his cheeks reddening slightly.
"So that wasn't a dream?" He asked, voice a bit small and meek, causing both Narcissa and Sirius to giggle/snicker respectively, while Remus turned a chuckle into a cough.
Azalea gave Regulus another kind smile, "Afraid not, though I have to admit, first time someone's mistaken me for an angel, even while partly out of it." Regulus gave her wide, startled eyes, gave her a once over, then shot Narcissa a look that clearly asked, 'is she kidding?'.
Narcissa's response was simple, "Through much prying, snooping, and drunken sobs, I have come to the conclusion that despite her family's best efforts our Azalea was made to feel like the ugly duckling by many, and as such it's left her feeling like she'll never be pretty enough for anyone else." Her statement was met with a deadpan look from Regulus and Azalea, though for very different reasons.
Before Azalea could start arguing with them there was a tap on the window, one of the Hogwarts owls was sitting on the sill, Azalea sighed. "Sirius, he's currently your kid." She stated firmly, making Remus snort, Narcissa laugh, Regulus look around confused, and Sirius didn't seem to know if he wanted to be offended or proud. Azalea walked over and took the letter from the owl, and the second she opened it, she groaned. "That's it, that man is too dangerous to be in charge of the school. I'm going for his fucking throat next time I see him." The other four adults in the room all shared a look, while the portraits all had to stifle laughter.
Narcissa moved forward and set a hand on Azalea's shoulder, "What's wrong?" Azalea showed Narcissa the letter in Harry's familiar writing, the first words on the page made the blonde woman flinch. 'Mum, there was a bloody troll in the bloody dungeons!' Remus had to catch her as Narcissa nearly fainted.
Sirius smirked, "Oh goodey, are we going geezer hunting?"
Azalea looked up and gave a fierce smile back. "More like total annihilation of his reputation and standing in wizard society. Then we go hunting."
Regulus looked between the two as Azalea spoke before leaning over to whisper to Remus, "I think I'm in love, help."
Meanwhile back at Hogwarts Harry, Ron, Draco, Hermione, and Pansy were all sitting in Dumbldore's office, the old headmaster trying hard not to grit his teeth as McGonigal, Snape, and the DADA Aura all fussed over the children. "Now now, let the young ones breathe," He stated in his grandfatherly tone, "We still need to find out what happened to her tonight." Never mind that he already knew what had happened, but no one else needed to know that.
McGonigal nodded, "Mr. Potter, now that you've sent an owl to your mother, could you kindly explain what happened tonight?"
Harry smiled, "Happily Professor, well Ron, Draco and myself had all just arrived for dinner when the call about the troll came out. We were going to follow orders and return to our common rooms, even though the Slytherin commons are in the dungeons. I know the doors are spelled but that did have us a bit shaken, when we realized that Hermione and Pansy were not present in the dining hall. Some Ravenclaw girls had been rather rude earlier in the day, and the three of us were worried that our friends were still upset and hadn't heard about the threat. Unfortunatly the professors had already left at that time, and we were unable to catch Prefect Weasley's attention to inform him. So the three of us ran off to try and find them. Which we did, just as the troll entered the bathroom where they'd been crying. Ron and Draco were the ones who got the girls out of danger, and I used a few tricks that Great Grandmum Lacey taught me for dealing with mountain trolls."
The teachers all looked at each other with a mix of fear and surprise. "And I don't suppose you'd be willing to share these tricks, Mr. Potter?" Snape asked frostily.
Harry gave a beaming smile, "Not without my mother present." He stated cheerily, both Draco and Ron having to hold back snickers at the way both Snape and Dumbledore shuddered at the thought.
