Hermione stared in horror after Bellatrix bumped into her, knocking a potion she'd been working on for the past few days. Her eyes followed the vial as it flew into the air and before she could lift her wand and rescue its contents, it poured all over Bellatrix and disappeared into her skin. "Oh, crap!!!" She held her breath as she watched her turn into a beautiful tortie mix.
The cat screeched and ran away as Hermione chased after her.

The cat then ran to a very dark place, one of her favorite haunts. She figured the stupid girl would not be brave enough to leave her comfort zone. She entered the forbidden forest and moved to where she loved to get into mischief, thinking she was in the clear.
Hermione got there with her time-turner necklace just before the Feisty cat escaped her clutches. She grabbed her with a towel, knowing if she hadn't, she would get some nasty scratches from this hellion. She knew this cat would give her attitude.
Sure enough, the cat was proving to be a beast. She hissed, growled, and spat as she twisted and turned under the towel, trying to free her paws so she could lash out and get away from the muggle-born witch.
Hermione knew how to deal with the angry ball of fur in her arms. She held her firmly under her arms and rubbed her head where she knew it would be. "Just wait until I get you somewhere safe and I promise to turn you back if you behave."
Bella grumbled under the towel. She was prepared to bite the girl through the cover. Or at least try to, when she realized she as a cat was starting to enjoy being petted. Her body betrayed her when all she wanted to do was attack the annoying girl. Instead, she started purring.
Hermione chuckled softly with a hint of victory as she took the cat with her. "Come, my Bella. Let's go find you some food and a place to stay. Crookshanks doesn't like to share." She hummed as she continued petting her, and then she used the time-turner to get back to where she was staying. She didn't think anyone would be comfortable if they knew who she had with her.
She snuck into another private room that has never been used for about a century. For once, she was breaking the rules. Harry and Ron would have a field day if they knew what she was doing. She smirked, deciding that she didn't care. She had better things to do now.
She used some quick thinking when she got some food for Bella. She knew stealing was bad, but she wanted Bellatrix to not think of her as the enemy. She knew if Bella wanted to, she would kill her for turning her into a cat. She hoped to get into her good graces once she figured out how to undo the spell she put on the woman she knew would follow Voldemort to the ends of the universe. She grimaced at the thought and shuddered. She couldn't begin to see what anyone would ever see in that monstrosity.
Why would someone be deluded into thinking that creature had any idea what love was? Did Bellatrix think that low of herself? Or was she so twisted to think that the thing she idolized loved her back? It made her feel sad for Bella. "What kind of a life have you had, to find love in all the wrong places?" She murmured as she continued stroking the cat, while she removed the towel slowly.
The cat growled softly as it prepared to flex its claws to strike out at her as if to say… "Don't presume to know my intentions, filthy muggle!"
Hermione jumped back in surprise when she realized she understood the cat. Somehow, the spell she accidentally cast on Bellatrix had inadvertently bonded them together so they could understand one another. Hot tears came to her eyes. "And here, I was trying to figure out how to undo the spell I put on you. If you don't want to try being a bit nicer, maybe I shouldn't even bother trying to help you." She huffed, as she crossed her arms.
Bella looked like she would have tackled with amusement when she saw that the girl was serious. She gave her a long hard stare before she jumped into Hermione's arms, causing the girl to jump back in surprise and fall. Bella moved with her and once the girl went still, Bella licked her tear-streaked cheek.
Before Hermione realized what happened, Bellatrix gave a throaty chuckle. "I needed your tears to reverse the spell you put on me. This was so easy!"
Hermione gasped in surprise and shock as she realized the dilemma that they were in. Bellatrix Lestrange was inside Hogwarts and she was the enemy and potential spy for Voldemort. She trembled as the realization hit her hard.
Bella laughed, reminding the girl there was another problem. They could read each other's minds. All the tears she shed wouldn't change that very fact. "Oh, don't worry your pretty little head, Muggle! I will be expecting you to do me a favor. You might even like it too." She had a truly wicked, yet mischievous smile on her face as she continued laying on top of the poor girl. "I have very special plans for you, my sweet."
Hermione found her voice as she realized several things at once. One, there was a beautiful woman on top of her. Two, she implied she would like what she wanted from her. Three, this woman was sexy! Wait… was she gay now? Four, her body was doing things to her… she felt a betrayal of some sort. Was the room getting hotter? Maybe she was coming down with something. She squirmed beneath Bella who had her pinned. "Please let me up."
The dark-haired woman laughed. "I think you like this more than you're willing to admit. Your heart is beating faster and you're breathing hard." she bit her lip, taking in the girl's entire form. "Remember, I can read your thoughts now. You're turned on by this."
Hermione blushed furiously. "Get out of my head! Get off me you… You…" she struggled to come up with a word to call the ravishing beauty on top of her.
Bella threw her head back and cackled with glee. "Oh, the things I could do with you!" She found herself enjoying this a bit too much. She realized this was something that she wanted to explore with her. It surprised her so much, where her thoughts were taking her. She gasped as she quickly got off and realized she still could shape-shift. She turned back into a cat.
Hermione gasped at the sudden movement and realized she could hear voices in the corridor. "Shh! They don't have any idea we're in here!" she whispered.
Bella turned and looked at her, giving her a look as if she were smirking with mischief. As if cats could do such a thing as smirk.
Without warning, the cat yowled as loudly as she could. It sounded like she was screaming bloody murder!
That was when they heard Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley tapping the wall where they heard the animal screaming.
"Hey! I heard that! Tell me you heard it too! Where is that bloody door?!" Ron began tapping again, trying to figure out how to get to that animal.
Harry did the same. "I heard it too! Let's see how we can…"
Hermione rolled her eyes. "They're going to get attention if I don't do something about this." She used magic to reveal the door and picked Bella up.
As soon as that happened, Ron and Harry jumped back in surprise. The ginger head spoke first.
"What are you doing with that bloody cat? Where's your little beast?" He asked, sticking his nose in her business.
"Was that screaming coming from it?" Harry followed his friend's reply.
Before Hermione could reply, Bella leaped from her arms, headed for Ron; scratched him with a hiss, and landed on the floor.
Ron screamed. "That bloody cat! I'll get you and see if you like…" He cussed.
Bella swished her tail with satisfaction and looked at Hermione. She spoke telepathically. "You'll be seeing me again soon. I'll find you and we will finish what we started." She purred and licked her claws before she sashayed away.
Hermione licked her lips as her breath caught at what Bellatrix was implying would happen the next time their paths crossed. She would forever have a connection with that dark-haired beauty. She smiled as she moved to check on Ron. She rolled her eyes at how pathetic he sounded. "Well, cats can always sense when a person hates them." They went to take care of his wounds.
After getting that taken care of, Hermione went back to her room and changed into comfortable clothes. She brushed her hair and thought about her situation with Bellatrix. She thought about how much she truly enjoyed what happened earlier. She could feel her face flushing at the memory. She brushed her hair, preparing to go to bed.
As she lay down in her bed, she could hear claws tapping the door. She put Crookshanks in her cat bed and uttered a little spell so her cat could sleep and not cause a fuss. She knew her cat would be pissed in the morning. She didn't care about that as she moved to open the door. She smiled, seeing her mystery guest. "Bella." she murmured, letting her in.
