Chapter one:
Hey Pads,
It’s only been a week since Hogwarts let out, but I can’t stop thinking about you. Is that weird? I just want summer to be over already, so I can see you, and James and Pete.
Anyway, how are you doing? I’m alright. Bored out of my mind, but alright. There’s no one my age (at least, no one I’d actually want to talk to) In this entire bloody town.
I’m not really sure what to put in this letter. What do you write to your boyfriend, anyway? I’m not planning on a ten-foot love letter tied with a red ribbon.
How are your parents treating you? I know you didn’t leave with a very good relationship.
Miss you,
Moony
Moons,
I can’t stop thinking about you either.
I feel the exact same about the summer, honestly I can’t wait to be back at Hogwarts. I’m bored as f*ck.
Reggie’s off with his friends constantly, but my parents don’t trust me enough to let me out of their sight. I guess they think I’m just going to run off to Prongs’ or something. (I might, still considering it.)
The parents are alright, all things considered. Don’t pay much attention to me, but I prefer that anyway.
Is it weird that I still smile like an idiot whenever you call me your boyfriend?
Miss you too,
Pads
P.S. I’d love a ten-foot love letter
Moony,
Not sure if you heard, but Sirius’ parents took his owl, so don’t bother writing any mail.
I’ve still got the mirror, so I’ve been talking to him with that.
If you ever want to come over and say hi, I’m sure he’d love that. You could stay part of the summer too, I need at least a few of the Marauders!
I know there’s a moon coming up, maybe after that?
Prongs
Prongs,
I’m sure my parents would love me off their hands. The moon’s in two days, so maybe I could come over next week? (If that works for you, of course)
I’d really like to see you two again.
Remus
Moony,
Works perfectly. You could stay until the end of the summer if you’d like, there’s only one more moon, and we could always take you back to your place for that.
Maybe around five on Monday?
Can’t wait!
Prongs
Prongs,
See you at five on Monday.
Remus
