Third Year III.

Many students were in the study hall that day. Finishing up their homework, working on essays and such. Rhea sat next to Fred with Harry next to her on the other side while George sat opposite Fred having Lee next to him. It was silent, otherwise how every time they were in study hall but it was not extreme as if Snape was the supervisor for that day.

"Eye of rabbit, harp string hum. Turn this water, into rum." Rhea glanced up from her parchment to look at the Irish boy from her house. Seamus Finnigan, only a week in school and he had already gained a reputation as a pyromaniac when he almost set the common room on fire.

"A sickle says he is gonna blow it up again." A voice from next to Rhea whispered into her ear causing shivers to run down Rhea's spine. She shook a bit looking over at Fred who had a usual smirk on his face. Rhea peeked back at Seamus who was inspecting the cup, swishing his wand around. She turned back to Fred with a matching smirk.

"You're on," She said with a faint laugh, shaking Fred's hand under the table. The two got back to their work, with one eye still watching Seamus swishing his wand around.

"Eye of rabbit, harp string hum. Turn this water into..." Just then an explosion was heard and a flash of light shone from Seamus' direction. After everything died down and the smoke settled they could see Seamus with his face dirty from the smoke a look of surprise stuck on it.

"Pay up princess," Fred whispered to Rhea with a hint of a laugh. The blonde girl groaned a bit and dug her hand into the pocket of her robes to fish out a silver coin. she pressed it into Fred's outstretched hand with a huff. "Thank you," Fred said in a sing-song voice.

"Shut up, Weasley," Rhea huffed. She wasn't angry, more disappointed that she just gave Fred half of her pocket money that Remus gave her so she could buy something in Hogsmead since this year was the year they would be finally allowed there.

"Make me, Black," Fred said back, elbowing Rhea lightly to get her to look at him. The two shared a look, followed by a smile since the two could never be serious around each other even if they wanted to.  The two got back to their work. All of them have some hard assignments in front of them. And maybe Fred didn't care as much about his education as Rhea did but since he could be spending time here with her he was willing to do some studying for it.

It was a day when owls brought letters. And so no one was too surprised when a flapping of wings filled the air, feathers falling all around along with packages sent to students from their parents. Rhea was just finishing her Potions essay. One that she has been working on for hours already. Angelina and Alicia were nowhere in sight and Katie had class, leaving her alone with the boys so she couldn't be expecting much help from either of them.

Just as Rhea finished the last word of her essay a light brown owl flew in dropping a letter in front of her. Rhea's head shot up, recognising the owl as uncle Moony's Barn Owl, Hermes. She smiled at the bird. Picking up a biscuit she had on the plate in front of her and offered it to the owl who took it gratefully with a gentle hoot before flying into the Owlery with the rest of the owls to wait for Rhea to write her reply to her uncle.

Once the owl was gone she glanced down at her envelope which seemed heavier than before. Carefully she opened it to see a few sickles, knuts and even a few galleons there. Her eyes widened at the amount of money her uncle had sent her. Pulling out the piece of paper to read what he had written to her.

Dear Rhea,

I am glad to hear that the start of your third year has been good so far. I just want to ask you to be slightly more careful during your Quidditch matches. I have no desire in coming to school just to visit you in the Hospital Wing. But aside from that, I hope you will finally show those Slytherins who the real champion is. I am also sending you some more money because I know that you will lose yourself in Honeydukes and at Zonko's, just don't spend all the money on the first visit and if it would be possible send me a bar of their chocolate, I'm sure you know which one.

I also recall you writing to me about meeting Harry Potter. I am glad you were so nice to him. You are a good girl. Maybe you should look out for him so he won't get into trouble. And make sure you and your friends don't cause havoc. I was horrified enough when I received a letter from McGonagall about you and the Weasley twins colouring Professor Snape's classroom in red and gold. And I certainly didn't laugh. Maybe just a little. But please for this year try to stay out of trouble.

With that being said I am wishing you a lot of luck in your classes and I will be awaiting your reply with my promised chocolate.

Sincerely,
Uncle Moony.

Rolling her eyes a bit at the words she made a mental note about buying her uncle that promised chocolate. Just to make the chocoholic happy. Rhea looked over at Fred who was fiddling with a package their mum had sent both him and George. She knew because she could see their names on the light brown packaging. Also, the look of irritation on George's face when Fred wouldn't hand over the package was a hint. She guessed that their mum had sent them her homemade fudge. It was one of the best things in the world. It was one of the few things that could get the twins to actually fight with each other.

Before she could tell Fred to stop being greedy and share with his brother something else caught her attention. Dean Thomas who was sitting by Seamus, who still had a mess of smoke on his face, suddenly spoke. Pointing towards Neville Longbottom who held a glass ball in his hands. Looking at it in confusion.

"Hey, look! Neville's got a Remembrall!" Rhea could faintly recall when she once got a Remembrall from her uncle. That day she would have forgotten her head somewhere if it weren't securely on her neck.

"I've read about those. When the smoke turns red, it means you've forgotten something." Hermione Granger explained. Rhea had learned something little about the muggle-born witch that they now had in Gryffindor. For someone who was growing up in a non-wizard community, she was pretty smart. Sometimes even making Rhea wonder if there was anything that the bushy-haired girl did other than reading books. Of course, Rhea loved reading and was happy for a quiet moment with her book. But Hermione seemed to be way too delved into them sometimes. The twins often made fun of the first-year behind her back but Rhea always stopped them from going too far. Having a teensy bit of pity for the girl who always sat alone with just her books.

"The only problem is, I can't remember what I've forgotten." Rhea looked Neville up and down after he said that before leaning over the table so she could whisper to George.

"Is he not realising he is missing his robes?" She asked confused, nodding towards Neville. George looked back in the direction of the first-year, shrugging his shoulders in response.

"Hey, Rhea, tell my twin to not be a git and hand over the package," George said, pouting a bit when looking over at Fred who teasingly popped a piece of chocolate fudge into his mouth. Rhea sighed turning towards Fred.

"Fred, share with George," Rhea said demandingly, only for the ginger to give her a shake of his head.

"Not a chance." His voice came muffled from how full his mouth was. He then proceeded to tease his brother some more, giving all his attention to George now who was sulking. Rhea used the moment to slip her hand under Fred's arms and grab the package. "Hey!"

"You snooze you lose," George chuckled when Rhea handed him the half-eaten package. Fred turned to Rhea with a hurt expression.

"Don't give me that look. You were being selfish. Remember we have a meeting with Oliver today. Can't have you stuffed with candy or else you will be moving even slower than usual." Rhea teased, her hands working on packing her essay to keep it safe from getting dirty.

"I'll let you know I am the best of the best, with or without candy." Fred bragged to Rhea who was already standing up to leave.

"Mhm, sure. Meet you in the common room," Rhea called over her shoulder to the twins. Not waiting for their response as she just walked out of the study hall.

Rhea and the twins were just leaving their History of Magic class when Oliver Wood stopped them. Telling them that he had found them a Seeker. Or more so that McGonagall herself had found them a Seeker. And by his explanation, he was a decent one. Rhea felt hopeful, thinking that this year they might break the losing streak. But when Wood said the name Harry Potter, Rhea couldn't help but worry.

Harry was still just a first year. And there were rules for a reason. Couldn't he get hurt or something? Quidditch is a pretty rough game as they had figured out on their own skin. Rhea doesn't want to put Harry down in any way. He must have talent if McGonagall herself got him signed up in their team but she was just worried the raven-haired boy would get hurt. Especially when playing against Slytherins. Those folks don't always play clean.

Wood left the three in the corridor after warning, mainly the twins, that he doesn't want Harry to freak out right away before even attempting to play. So of course right after Wood left Fred got the amazing idea of finding Harry and scaring him a bit. Rhea wasn't all on board with the plan but decided to tag along just to make sure the twins will not cause any serious harm to the first-year.

They found him walking with Ron down the corridors near the courtyard. Most likely going to Hagrid as he had planned earlier. Just information that Rhea overheard in the study hall. Fred and George smirked at one another splitting ways and appearing on either side of the boys. Rhea sighed and quickened her pace to stand by George who was walking alongside Ron. She noticed how Harry seemed quite happy about being on the team and she just knew Fred and George were going to frighten him with their words.

"Hey, well done, Harry, Wood's just told us!" Fred cheered, clapping his hand on Harry's shoulder, startling both him and his brother. But the frightened expression on Harry's face got once again replaced by a proud one as he smiled.

"Fred and George are on the team, too. Beaters. And Rhea is a star Chaser." Ron said enthusiastically, blushing a bit when saying Rhea's name. Harry looked over at the blonde girl curiously, awaiting her answer.

"Oh shut up Ron, you are exaggerating. It's these two who have an important role in the game. Without them, I would have more broken bones than I can count." Rhea said nudging George a little. The ginger laughed a bit at the flattery before he started speaking.

"Our job is to make sure that you don't get bloodied up too bad," George said, striking a bit of horror into Harry who suddenly became uneasy. "Can't make any promises, of course. Rough game, Quidditch."

"Brutal. But no one's died in years. Someone will vanish occasionally..." Rhea rolled her eyes at Fred's statement noticing how unsure Harry was about playing now. So she decided to grab the sleeves of the robes of the twin gingers and started dragging them away.

"But they'll turn up in a month or two!" George managed to yell before getting pulled down the hall by Rhea.

"You two have done enough damage as it is. You scared the living daylights out of him. We will be lucky if he now comes to the personal training he has with Wood on Saturday." Rhea said somewhat angrily. Fred laughed pulling his arm back causing Rhea to stumble back as well, releasing George while colliding with Fred, who luckily managed to catch her. He grinned down at her mischievously.

"Oh lighten up, Black. We were only joking." His charming smile made Rhea scoff some more. But she wasn't able to maintain the scoffing expression for long before she allowed herself to smile softly.

"Fine, just...promise to be a bit more gentle to him. All this is new to him. He doesn't need to get a minor heart attack just from your jokes, Weasleys." Rhea warned, giving a pointed look to both of the twins. George held his hands up in surrender.

"All right, all right, we will try to behave around him," George promised. Rhea wasn't worried about him honestly. It was the ten-minute older ginger twin that she was sceptical about. She tilted her head up to look at Fred who was still holding her close.

"Fred." The sound of his name, coming so seriously out of his best friend's mouth made Fred almost break into laughter. It didn't suit Rhea to be this serious. He liked her more cheery, smiley and joking with them. "Fred!" Rhea said louder, breaking free from his arms. She stepped away from him a bit, turning around to face him. Her pale green eyes met his brown ones. Pleading with him to promise her something that Fred saw as irrelevant. But seeing her looking at him like that made his tough walls break.

"Ugh, okay fine. We'll try being decent. But only until he gets comfortable with all this." He grumbled. Feeling slightly defeated by what Rhea made him promise. But the smile that grew on Rhea's face after he said that made him feel better instantly. The girl grinned widely. Jumping at both of them bringing them into a hug.

"Thanks, you two. I knew I could count on you." She breathed out, still hugging them. Due to their height, she was standing on her tiptoes. Her toes almost not even touching the ground as she mainly relied her stability on the two gingers. Something no one else would be trusting enough to do. But Rhea knew that they wouldn't drop her.

The twins supported her weight, which for the two of them was not such a hard job to do. George helped her stabilize herself once she was done hugging them. And as soon as the sweet moment came the sooner it left. A look of realisation hit Rhea in the face when she looked outside, noticing the sun gently setting down.

"Oh good Godric, I am so late. I promised Edmund to meet him in the library." Rhea rushed out of herself, turning quickly to the two gingers. George only smiled while Fred had an unusual frown on his face. "I'll see you guys later." She said quickly, turning on her heel and rushing towards the library where she was supposed to meet her Slytherin friend.

Meanwhile, Fred and George were still standing in their place. Only because Fred was too busy glaring in the direction where Rhea had left. George was trying too hard not to laugh at the absurd situation. He had asked his brother many times about his feelings towards the Black girl but Fred's answer has always been the same. George now can't decide whether Fred is just too proud to admit it, or if he is that oblivious to his feelings.

"Hey, Freddie? You done staring? Or should I leave you here and come back later?" George quizzed teasingly, nudging his twin brother who promptly snapped out of his trance.

"What?"

"You've had this scowl on your face since Rhea mentioned meeting Edmund. Is there any particular reason for that?" Fred scoffed and George's inquiring.

"No, why would I care about that dumb Pevensie boy? He is a bore. I am just amazed how can Rhea put up with him for so long." Fred said with arrogance seeping through his words as he started walking down the corridor towards the stairs with George trying to catch up behind him due to the fast pace that he had established.

"Maybe it's because she enjoys spending time with him," George suggested, once they made it up the stairs towards the portrait hole. Fred stopped walking and snapped his head towards his twin brother a flare in his eyes. George took a step back for safety reasons.

"Don't make me laugh." Fred dismissed, turning towards the portrait and saying a password. The Fat Lady let the twins through and they slipped inside their common room, immediately going towards the direction of the dorms. "How could such a sweet, beautiful, funny, smart and amazing girl like Rhea like spending time with such a slimy snake, like Pevensie." The two walked towards their room and just in front of their dorm George couldn't help but comment.

"It could be because she fancies him," He stated with a shrug of his shoulders. Fred flashed a look at his brother. His brown eyes getting a few shades darker. He threw open the doors to their dorm and stormed in. Before George could get in, the doors were slammed shut right in front of his face. Standing there in front of the door, slightly stunned by almost getting smacked with the hard wood into his face he sighed. "Should have kept that thought to myself." He muttered to himself. Carefully moving his hand towards the doorknob so he could get inside his dorm.
