Ferret Boy
"So, have you gotten any news about the first challenge?" I asked Harry as Harry, Hermione, and I were walking down the hall.
"Hagrid showed me something yesterday, I think the first challenge might have something to do with dragons." He replied, and I could see the look of fear in his face.
"Dragons?!" Hermione and I both shouted at the same time.
"Shh, Hagrid wasn't supposed to tell me anything." He whispered at us.
"Okay..Well what are you gonna have to do? Ride them or something?" I asked, confusedly.
"I don't know yet," He replied, then, once we walked back into the courtyard he stopped us to go talk to Cedric. "I'll be right back."
"Hm, wonder what that's about?" I told Hermione.
"He probably went to warn him about the dragons." She replied.
"Right. Well, since he's not here right now. What's going on with him and Ron?" I asked, referring to the other day when they weren't sitting together.
"Ron's mad at Harry because he thinks he actually put his name in the goblet." She replied, arrogantly.
"What? That's stupid. Why on earth would Harry put his name in there?" I replied, rolling my eyes.
"That's what I said, but he doesn't seem to believe him." She sighed.
We both had noticed that Harry and Draco were talking to each other, which obviously didn't mean anything good, so we decided to go over there.
"My father and I have a bet," Draco told Harry. "I don't think you're gonna last ten minutes in this tournament. He disagrees. He thinks you won't last five."
"I don't give a damn what you're father thinks, Malfoy." Harry yells, pushing Draco away. "He's vile and cruel, and you're just pathetic." Harry started walking away until Draco continued shouting at him.
"Pathetic?" Draco said, then took out his wand. He was about to cast a spell on Harry when Mad-Eye Moody came out from behind and pointed his wand towards Draco. Draco was immediately transformed into a ferret.
I couldn't help but burst into laughter, as well as everyone else around me.
"What's going on?" Amelia asked, as Thomas and Leo followed behind her.
"Professor Moody just turned Draco into a ferret." I laughed, though I did start to worry about him.
"Now this I've gotta see." Thomas said, pushing past the crowd.
Mad-Eye Moody then started moving Draco up and down with his wand.
"Professor Moody! What are you doing?" Professor Mcgonagall shouted, running up to him.
"Teaching." He responded, continuing to move Draco up and down.
"Is that a student?" She asked.
"Technically, it's a ferret." He responded, then proceeded to shove Draco down Crabbe's pants.
Eventually, Professor Mcgonagall transformed Draco back into his human form and you could see that Draco was clearly embarrassed.
"My father will hear about this!" He yelled at Moody, then ran off.
"Is that a threat?" He asked, following him.
I decided to follow Draco because I was worried for him. I had seen both Crabbe and Goyle run into the Slytherin common room which meant Draco was probably in there.
I walked into the common room and it was completely empty, except for Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle who were sitting on the couch near the fireplace.
Draco eventually noticed I walked in and he muttered something to Crabbe and Goyle which made them run off to their dorms.
"Hey." I said, walking up to the couch and sitting next to him.
"Go ahead, make fun of me." He told me.
"Okay, I have to admit that was pretty funny," I started saying, then Draco started getting up. "But, it also was pretty cruel."
"Yes, it was. I'm getting that bloody idiot fired." He responded, arrogantly. "Who does he think he is? Turning me into a ferret."
"I thought it was cute." I laughed.
"Cute?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.
"Well, not like in a weird way." I said, immediately regretting calling him cute.
"He had no right to do that." He continued rambling.
"Honestly, you kind of deserved it. Especially after what you did to me yesterday. I did say I'd get my revenge," I shrugged.
"Leave." He stated.
"I never wanted it to go that way, though." I said. I looked at the clock and realized it was time for lunch.
"Are you hungry? Let's go get lunch." I told him, getting up from the couch.
"I'd rather not be publicly humiliated again." He responded.
"Oh, come on, let's go." I urged, grabbing both of his hands and struggling to pull him up.
"You really thought you'd pull me up, huh." He laughed.
"It's not my fault you're so damn strong." I sighed.
"You think I'm strong?" He smirked.
"Shit. No, that's not what I meant." I uttered, starting to feel my face get red.
"Oh, really?" He continued to smirk.
"Shut up. We're going."
"Fine."
We both walked out of the Slytherin common room and went towards the Great Hall. Once we arrived, some people had turned to Draco and started laughing at him. Some even shouted "ferret boy" at him.
"This is what happens when I listen to you." He told me, then I proceeded to smack him.
"Where are we going?" He asked, since he noticed we were walking over to the Gryffindor table.
"To sit with my brother?" I told him, confused.
"Are you joking?" He said, as I stopped and looked at him then realized what he meant.
"Ohh right, sometimes I forget you guys hate each other." I replied, as he gave me a weird look.
We then went to go sit over at the Slytherin table, next to Blaise and Miles.
"Hey there Ferret boy." Blaise joked.
"Do you want me to hex you, Zabini?" Draco replied, bluntly.
"Hey, Miles. I haven't seen you in a while." I told him, as I sat next to him.
"Yeah, cause you've been sitting at the Hufflepuff table everyday." He uttered, though I could tell he didn't actually care that much.
"That's not true." I replied, then realized I was wrong since I had sat with them during breakfast. "Oh well, I'm here now."
"Wait, why are you here? Why aren't you with them?" Blaise asked.
"Geez, why? Do you not want me here?" I laughed.
"No. I'm just wondering why you're over here, while your boyfriend is sitting over there with some other girl."
"What?" I looked over at the Hufflepuff table and sure enough Thomas was sitting next to Ivy and the rest of his friends.
"Well, I'm sure it's fine. They seem to just be talking." I muttered, not believing anything I said.
"I don't know about that."
I looked at them again and Ivy was grabbing Thomas's arm while they both laughed at something one of them said.
"I don't know why you care so much Blaise, it's none of your business." I told him, starting to get irritated.
"I was just wondering." He replied, giving me a look.
"Yeah, well don't." I stated, grabbing my things and getting up from the table.
I walked over to the Gryffindor table and sat next to Harry. I put my head on the table and groaned.
"Are you okay?" Harry asked.
"No." I replied.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"No."
