Lumen's Bed
Irene sat up in the bed, rubbing the sleep from her eyes and stretching from the firm mattress. The room was still somewhat dim, but squinting through the gloom she could see the glow of a light from the attached kitchenette. A delicious smell reached her nose just as Jordi walked back into the area, a tray in hand.
"Oh, Doña, you're awake! I made you some dinner, you've had a long day and I felt that you needed it."
Irene shuffled back to make room for the tray on her lap, her hands skimming over the rough woolen blanket as she did. She breathed in, enjoying the scent.
"Oh, crab paste?"
"Mhm! A few Sargonian operators brought back some cragpincer meat when they returned, and Señor Matterhorn was kind enough to let me have some."
Irene nodded and picked up her fork, taking a chunk of the paste and beginning to eat. Jordi sat at the foot of the bed, simply watching her in a way that made her blush, just his own brand of simple devotion.
The bed itself was only a 6/10, rough, itchy, and much too reminiscent of her inquisition days for her own liking. Despite that, Jordi bumped it to a solid 8.5/10, always doing his best to make sure that she woke up refreshed and rejuvenated.
