Chapter 1
Dear Reader, tell me have you ever truly felt alive? Or did you convince yourself that you felt alive? because you were terrified at the mere thought of facing your mortality, at taking that leap of faith to see what was on the other side?
Well, dear reader, you needn't ponder what's on the other side any longer. Why you might ask, well because I took that leap of faith, I’ll explain dear reader...
It started at the end of my fourth year when Voldemort returned.
Now, that wouldn’t have been too much of a problem, if it wasn’t for the fact that I was one of the unlucky few who had come into their inheritance earlier than most. I know what you’re thinking dear reader “how could coming into your inheritance early be a bad thing Draco?” it’s a bad thing when you’re soulmate is the dark lord!
Yea I know, imagine having the dark lord as your soulmate, it gets worse when you realise that the chosen one joined the dark side because the light side betrayed and used him that wasn’t the bad thing no, the bad thing was realising that he took a liking to the dark lord and the dark lord took a liking to him. Harry Potter hated me, he always felt the need to humiliate me, yet it never quite worked. I felt miserable, I knew it was because the dark lord and potter had become intimate. My creature was livid at this fact, yet I could never bring myself to do anything about it.
Another question you might have dear reader is why I’m writing a letter while in a dungeon of all things, the reason I am writing this is that at this very moment, potter accused me of trying to poison him you can probably imagine how that went down with the dark lord so, as per potter’s request the death eaters will be putting an end to my life but I cannot and will not allow a mere death eater to end my life, So as you might have already pieced together dear reader, I will be ending my own life so I shall confess everything in this letter.
Tom, you were my soulmate, I used the past tense as at the moment you read this I will be dead, I must also clarify that I did not try to poison Harry Potter he knew that you and I were soulmates and he despised that fact so, he simply got rid of me.
