James Potter POV
"Guys i will catch up with you later okay, i have to run to Physics now but i will meet up with you in the library after" I shouted behind me at my 3 best friends: Peter,Sirius and Remus. He loved his friends with his whole heart and could not imagine a world without them.
I ran as quickly as i could without appearing to look like I was being chased, and stopped outside the Physics lab, I slowed down into a walk and walked into the classroom and sat down ready for my lesson to begin.

"Ok guys as part of the science team we are going to take the class to the Black Enterprise lab so we can meet some scientists and you must write a paper on something they are working on in the labs ok."
James ears perked at that, the Black Enterprise is a massive building owned by none other than his best mates parents, he had been there a few times and tried to not freak out and tried act cool around around Sirius but he recalled that he was terribly at it and that and Sirius saw straight through it.
James was exited to go but hoped he did not run into Sirius parents they were a rotten couple, as a child they hurt Sirius and abused him both physically and mentally and James always hated them for that. He despised how Sirius still thought that he had to hid that fact from James and the public scared what his parents would do to him and his friends if he tried to tell someone, so Sirius never told a soul till one day when he broke down in front of James and told him all about his parents and James had comforted Sirius and tried to cheer him up again.

"Hey mum and dad I am home." James shouted as he entered the door of his house followed by Sirius.
"Hey Effie dear." Sirius said going Effie and giving her a kiss on the cheek, James did live with his parents but Sirius insisted on getting a place with Remus weirdly enough, so Sirius no longer lived with the Potters.
Effie greeted the boys and told them she had prepared dinner for them and the boys thanked her a lot for her troubles but she told them that it was no big deal and they were welcome to come by any time they wanted to, they both smiled at that.

"Prongsie are you going to be ok going to my parents lab without me i mean what will happen if you run into them."
Sirius whispered to James while he laid on James' bed in the dark while his legs were pulled up to his chest trying to hid his face, James could tell Sirius was panicking about it and tried to calm him down. "Sirius, listen to me i am going to be fine ok. They won't come near me and if they do ok i will pull out my 2 months of karate when i was 12 skills okay." Sirius mumbled an okay before moving his head to face James,
"I trust and love you James."
"Thats a little gay Sirius."
"Not true I am wearing socks." Sirius shoved his feet towards James trying to prove his point to James.
"Okay you got me there." James smiled towards Sirius letting out a chuckle.

"Okay students we are at Blacks Enterprise now please leave the bus from the right hand side and we shall meet up at the bus at one fifteen on the dot to head back to the university."
James exited the bus walking with Lily Evans a girl who James knew from the science lab she took Biology and he took Physics and their paths had crossed multiple times leading to them talking and becoming friends gradually after she got over the fact he could be a bit of an arse sometimes.
James and Lily walked up to the building at the man at the front desk scanned their passes and gave them an ID badge to show employees where they were allowed to go.
James was very excited and he could tell lily was too they walked side by side into the labs.

"Lily your staring is so obvious." James whispered to Lily while elbowing her ribs, Lily was staring at a girl maybe a few years older she had brown hair that was neatly tied back and had glasses with clear frames that had slipped slightly down her nose their was no denying she was very beautiful, she wearing a suit and walked with confidence down the hallway.
"I was not staring James !" Lily shot back to him, she folded her arms and slouched slightly, "She is just very pretty."
James let out a chuckle to that, "Lily she has stopped walking go approach her go on."
"James she is literally a goddess and she looks busy i can't." They began walking back towards the lift behind them just as she was about to pass James not very subtle pushed Lily into the girl.
"Oh I am very sorry I must have fallen." Lily said to the lady as they sat on the floor together.
"Don't sweat it, it's no problem, I am Mary." Mary said to Lily holding out her hand for Lily to shake.
"I'm Lily and once again I am sorry." She cringed slightly at her words and smoothed out her dress, she spun around to find James again prepared to make her leave and she could not spot him.

James was lost, he had never been more lost in his life...
He had stumbled into the lift not really realising he had entered and ended up on the 7th floor which he believed was 4 floors from where he started.
He had no idea how there was not one single worker on the entire Laboratory floor, James just wanted aimlessly and stopped at a display of spiders eyeing up the spiders cautiously. James had never been one to like spiders, they were creepy crawly things that caught you of guard, they also had way to many legs for James ideal leg count...
James finally had enough of the glass display of brightly coloured spiders and walked to eye up a different closure, as it appeared they had a whole entire zoo on the 7th story.
Suddenly, he felt a small sensation on the back of his neck which caused him to get goosebumps before a sharp, short pain grazed his neck, brushing the back of his neck he felt nothing there and was confused but he just brought it down to mosquito or something similar in nature.

James finally found another student and followed them back to the entrance where they started as it was time to finally leave to go back to the university, he was glad that he did not encounter his best friends parents as that would not have ended well...
He was pleased with his visit though as he had taken many photos of animal species he had never encountered before and he had managed to not get completely lost in the massive building.
He finally found his way back to Lily and smiled at the ginger girl in front of him, who was wearing a green dress that was just short of her ankles,
"Hey James where were you, one minute you were there and then I turned around and you were gone." She folded her arms looking expectedly at James,
"Got a bit lost..." He said sheepishly his hand grazing the back of his neck unconsciously, she smiled at him and chuckled and they set off together to the bus to go back to university.

"Hey Jamie how was the vist to my parents humble little work place?" Sirius asked as he came bounding towards James exicitment evident in his face as he saw James.
"It was good Padfoot." he said careful no to mention his encounter with the the brightly coulored spiders due to his wondering of habits. They exhanged a look and Padfoot was not sure James was telling him the full story but instead he choose to just shrug his shoulders and believe if James was really not feeling well or had a bad time he would tell him in his own time.
