Second Position
Regulus blinked his eyes open.
The room was a deep blue.
He couldn’t tell if it was due to the curtains surrounding his bed, or if it was still dark outside.
He carefully pulled his curtain back and glanced around at the sleeping bodies tucked behind their respective curtains. The moon was almost full, sending silvery light into the room. “Merda.” He whispered to no one, carefullying pushing the duvet off his legs.
The floor was cold under his feet, sending a shiver up his spine. Sighing he moved, carefully so as to not awaken any of the others that were able to sleep through the night. He pulled clothing, and every shower product he had, out of his suitcase, heading for the bathroom.
He felt as though a layer of dust was coating his body, making him want to crawl out of his own skin. He knew that he should have showered as soon as he was settled in his dorm. He absolutely hated that he didn’t, but now was as good a time as any.
Regulus made sure that the door was locked before stripping off his clothes and started trying to figure out how to work the shower. It took him way longer than he was comfortable admitting to figure out which way to turn the nozzle to get the hot water, but he was finally able to step into the steaming hot water.
He tilted his chin upwards, allowing the hot water to wash over his face, his mind beginning to wander over everything that happened the day before. He was so lost in his thoughts, he realized that he had almost forgotten to actually wash himself. Cursing himself quietly, he started his routine, trying to finish before the hot water ran out.
Taking one final deep breath and feeling completely reborn, he turned off the water and stepped out, he made sure that he was fully dry, before dressing. He stepped back into the dimly lit room, tossing his dirty clothes into the basket next to his bed.
Still rubbing a towel to dry his hair, he finally allowed himself to pick up his phone.
Four thirty in the morning.
He had no idea when he had no idea what time he had woken up, or how long he had taken in the shower, but he didn’t really mind.
Regulus knew that it was probably the best idea to ring Sirius to see if he was awake or still sleeping peacefully.
Sirius answered on the first ring, “Reggie, thank god you’re awake, sono sveglio da ore.” Regulus laughed softly, “I just woke up, cazzo jet lag.” He could hear sheets moving rustling around on the other end of the phone. “Sto morendo di fame..” Regulus huffed out a laugh, “What time does breakfast start?” He asked, Regulus could hear Sirius fumbling around with his suitcases.
His brother cursed into the phone, “Uh.. Five.” He said, Regulus pulled his phone away from his ear to check the time, “We have about fifteen minutes.. Do you want to meet me in the hallway?” He asked, “Sì, fammi vestirmi.” Sirius responded before hanging up the phone.
No doubt because Sirius was incapable of doing two things at once.
Regulus left the dorm as quietly as he was able to. After locking the door, he leaned against the wall to wait for Sirius. It only took ten minutes of waiting until Sirius was dramatically falling out of his dorm room.
He was grinning wildly. Regulus just rolled his eyes, “Devi fare tutto in modo drammatico?” Sirius just smirked at him, “Drama is my middle name!” He said, tossing his hair back.
“Tu desideri.” Regulus said, pushing off the wall and leading the way towards the lift. Sirius laughed, pushing the button for the canteen. They rode down in silence, Regulus really wanted to ask about Sirius’ roommates but decided to wait until they had found a place to sit.
Luck must have been on the brothers’ side - they were the only two people that were up this early. After collecting food, they chose a table that was in the furthest corner of the room. “So, how are your roommates?” Regulus asked, after they had been eating silently for a few minutes.
Sirius shrugged, “I don’t think they like me all that much.” He said. Regulus’ face fell. That couldn’t be true, everyone loved Sirius, he made great first impressions. He raised an eyebrow in question. “I think that I’m too loud. There’s one boy that was reading when I first got there..” Sirius shoved another bite of waffle into his mouth. “I’m just loud Reggie, I think I scared them.”
Regulus sighed, stabbing his waffle with a fork, staring at Sirius, “Sei rumoroso.. but that never stopped you before.” He said. If Uncle Alphard heard him speaking half in English and half Italian he would be appalled. Sirius sighed loudly, “Yeah, but I can’t tell if I’m the problem or they are just annoyed that I’m taking the spare bed in the dorm.” He paused to take a sip of his coffee, making a face. “I can tell they have been roomed together forever.”
Sirius took another sip of his coffee and made yet another face, “Ugh, è disgustoso.” He said before placing the mug back onto the table and pushing it away from him. Regulus laughed, “Ti aspettavi un espresso italiano?” Sirius shook his head, “No, but I expected it to be less shit.”
Regulus rolled his eyes, “Who are your roommates anyway?” He asked, trying to direct the conversation back to its original point. Sirius looked up through his curls, grinning, “Do you remember those two boys that we saw when we were being shown our rooms?” He asked. Regulus nodded, his mouth full of waffle.
“Those two boys, plus another boy; their names are James, Peter and Remus.” He continued. Regulus nodded, “They seemed cool,” He said after he swallowed the mouthful of waffle. Sirius shrugged, finally picking up his fork and continuing to eat.
Regulus decided that he should probably leave the topic alone for a while. He pulled his phone out of his pocket, mindlessly scrolling through Instagram. His eyes darted between his phone and Sirius, who seemed to be going through the five stages of grief about the cup of coffee in front of him.
“Siri, either drink it or dump it out.” A light voice behind Regulus said, causing his face to break out into a grin. “Pandora as I live and breathe!” Sirius said, jumping up so fast the entire table rattled. Regulus rolled his eyes, turning in his chair to watch Pandora and Sirius embrace, he couldn’t help but smile.
“Comment allez-vous?” Pandora asked, her voice a bit muffled by Sirius’ shoulder. “Bien bien!” He said, finally letting her out of the hug. Regulus turned back to his waffles, Pandora slid into the seat next to him, while Sirius took his original seat.
“Panda please tell me there is good coffee somewhere in America.” Sirius said, a pleading tone in his voice. Regulus rolled his eyes, “He’s been on this coffee bullshit for the past hour, please save me.” Pandora laughed, “I’m sure there is somewhere, but I don’t know any of the places off the top of my head.” She said, taking Regulus’ fork and stealing a bite of his food.
Regulus scoffed, but he really didn’t mind that Pandora was stealing his food, they used to share food all the time back in France. “Ne démarrez pas.” She said, between the bits of waffle in her mouth. Regulus huffed, “Je n’allais rien dire..” He mumbled.
“Mensonges.” She replied, Sirius started giggling. “You two bicker like siblings, even more than Reggie and I do.” Regulus flipped him off, causing Pandora to burst into a fit of her own giggles. “Ho già mal di testa..” He mumbled rubbing his temples with his fingertips.
Pandora laughed again, “Has he gotten more dramatic since the last time I saw him?” She asked Sirius, who just nodded, “Way more actually, honestly Pandora it’s been exhausting.” Regulus sighed loudly, “I’m right here you know!” Throwing his hands into the air, “Quiet, the adults are talking.” Pandora said, picking up a piece of Regulus’ untouched bacon.
Regulus threw his hands into the air again, shaking his head. Before he could say another word, two more people joined them at the table, “Wait, there’s two of you?” Barty asked, sitting on Regulus’ other side. “Oh! Sausages!” He said, taking one off of Regulus’ plate, causing him to sigh loudly.
“Dude, these sausages are amazing.” Barty said, his mouth full of food, Regulus dropped his head into his hands, “I wouldn’t know.” He said. Pandora patted his back carefully, “Barty, Evan meet Sirius Black, Regulus’ older brother.” Sirius raised his hand in a wave. “So there are two of you?” Barty asked again, stealing another sausage off Regulus’ plate.
Regulus pushed the plate in front of Barty - a day into his new home and already he had a person other than Pandora stealing his food. “You two look so much alike it’s crazy, I can’t believe that you didn’t tell us that you had a brother, and I’m surprised that Pandora didn’t mention it either- Are you drinking that?” Barty asked, his words coming out a mile a minute, pointing at Sirius’ cup of coffee that was sitting untouched.
Sirius looked like he was going through whiplash, and Regulus wouldn’t be able to argue that point.
The things that Regulus was learning about Barty was that he always seemed to talk at one hundred kilometers a minute, and he really didn’t understand that speaking that fast to people whose first language wasn’t English.. well..
“Hai idea di cosa stia dicendo?” Sirius asked, raising an eyebrow at Regulus, he just shrugged and shook his head. Pandora was the one to finally rescue Sirius and Regulus. “Barty, take a breath and slow the fuck down, they have no idea what the fuck you are on about.” She explained.
Regulus shot her a thankful look, “Oh sorry, I was wondering if you are drinking that cup of coffee in front of you.” He said Evan just shook his head and lowered it into his hands. Sirius shook his head, pushing the mug towards Barty. “Oh great, as if you need that.” Evan said, when he finally took his head out of his hands.
Pandora laughed, “Barty always stays at one hundred percent all day long.” She explained, Regulus shook his head, “Well isn’t that wonderful.” Sirius smiled, “Barty was it?” He asked, leaning his elbows onto the table, Barty nodded, opening his mouth to respond.
Evan held his hand up, “Please, Barty, if I have to see anymore half chewed food I am going to fucking kill you.” He said, causing Barty to immediately close his mouth. Pandora rolled her eyes, “Don’t let them fool you, they really are best friends.” She said, Regulus sighed loudly.
He started rubbing his temples again, “You all are giving me a fucking headache.” Pandora laughed lightly, patting Regulus on the back. “I promise you will get used to them.” She said Regulus looked over to Evan and Barty fighting over the last sausage on the plate. “Are they always this stupid?” He asked.
Pandora nodded, leaning closer to Regulus’ ear, “Tension sexuelle.” Regulus felt his face go red. Causing Pandora to laugh again, Sirius was watching Barty and Evan intensely. He seemed to be thoroughly enjoying watching the two boys slapping each other with different breakfast foods.
“Honestly you would think you two were sixteen instead of twenty something.” Pandora said, finally standing to pull Barty and Evan off of eachother. Regulus was starting to notice that she had a certain effect on the two. They always seemed to listen to her, no matter how caught up in their own bullshit they were.
Barty gave Pandora a sheepish smile, and Evan quickly sat up. Sirius whistled, “Wow, she has you both by your balls huh?” He asked, a smile breaking out onto his face, he opened his mouth to say something else, but one look from Pandora shut it down quickly. Regulus rolled his eyes, “Are you still scared of Pandora, Sirius?” He asked, leaning his elbows onto the table.
Sirius’ response was to turn a deep shade of red, “I have never in my life been scared of Pandora.” Regulus raised an eyebrow, “Oh really?” He asked, Sirius glanced between Regulus and Pandora, he swallowed. “Okay, I am a little bit scared of her.” He admitted.
“Stupido.” Regulus said, Barty leaned forward to look at Regulus, “Wait hold on, how does she not scare you?” He asked, Regulus just laughed, “She’s literally my best friend, I’ve known her since forever, she knows she’s not in charge of me and I am not in charge of her.” He said, Pandora pressed a kiss to Regulus’ head.
“Ew, please no affection at the breakfast table.” Sirius said making a face, Regulus smirked and wrapped an arm around Pandora’s waist. “Sorry Siri, I can’t help it.” He said, Pandora rested her head onto his shoulder. Sirius made a gagging noise, but was smiling the whole time. Evan watched the two carefully, “Sorry, am I missing something here?” Barty asked, “I didn’t realize you two were together.”
Pandora and Regulus made a disgusted face at the exact same time, “That is absolutely disgusting.” They said in unison. “Barty have you forgotten the whole ‘I like girls thing?’ Because that’s super important for you to remember.” Pandora said, furrowing her brows. Regulus laughed lightly, “And Pandora is certainly not my type, no offense Panda.” Pandora shrugged, “None taken my love.”
Sirius made another gagging noise, “Please god this is absolutely revolting.” He said. Regulus knew that he wasn’t actually grossed out, he always had given Regulus shit about his relationship with Pandora.
Even after he came out, for the second time that is.
Regulus just flipped him off; he was as happy as he could be at this moment in time. He felt as though he was exactly where he needed to be, everything seemed to be working out for him. He was so excited he felt that if he jumped, he would be able to fly, actually fly, as though wings had sprouted from his shoulder blades and he could go anywhere in the world.
“So what do the cool kids do the weekend before classes start?” Sirius asked, breaking Regulus out of his thoughts. Evan shrugged, “You are asking the wrong-” He wasn’t able to finish, as the door banged open loudly. Two boys strolled into the dining room, “Here we go..” Pandora said, rolling her eyes.
Regulus tilted his head in question, only to have a look thrown to him by Pandora of “just watch, you’ll get it soon.” He shrugged and his eyes were drawn back to the two boys who had just entered the room. The shorter one cleared his throat, “Presenting Mr. James Fleamount Potter, please refrain from flash photography.” Just as that was said, a boy swept into the room, making a big show of bowing deeply.
Sirius was rolling his eyes, “Quelli sono i miei coinquilini..” He muttered, Regulus looked between his brother and the boys that had just, for lack of a better word, strutted in. “Quelle teste di cazzo?” Sirius nodded. Regulus made a face, “Evan what are they saying?” Barty asked.
Evan sighed loudly, rubbing his temples with his fingers, “I don’t know Barty, for the last time I don’t fucking speak Italian.” Barty threw his hands up, “No need to be hostile.” He turned to Pandora, “Do you know what they are saying?” She nodded, “Bits and pieces from knowing them for so long but other than that? No.”
“We were just talking about those being Sirius’ roommates.” Regulus said, after long consideration of lying to Barty and saying they were talking about him. Barty clapped a hand onto Sirius’ shoulder, “I am so sorry, those guys are a lot to deal with.” He said. Sirius sighed, “You’re telling me.”
“You must be new.” A voice came from behind Regulus, he turned and raised an eyebrow. Standing behind him was James Potter, as he knew him from the overly dramatic entrance a few minutes earlier. Regulus allowed himself to look at him fully; he had to admit he was attractive, but that type of loud, obnoxious personality allowed Regulus to not pay too much attention.
Although the way that the light hit James’ skin was remarkable.
Regulus pushed that thought out of his mind as soon as it appeared there.
“Cosa pensi che voglia?” He asked looking at Sirius, who just shrugged. “Good morning James.” Evan said, breaking the awkward silence. James nodded at Evan, his deep brown eyes hadn’t left Regulus the entire time. “I’m James Potter, It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He said, sticking his hand out for Regulus to shake.
“I am here to answer any and all questions that you have about this school, I can also show you around.” James said, stepping onto a free seat with one foot. Regulus rolled his eyes, looking between the outstretched hand, and Sirius, who looked like he wished he was anywhere but that table. “You know it is customary to introduce yourself back to someone.” James said.
“Sì, and it’s customary for you to be welcoming to new roommates.” Regulus responded coldly.
James looked like a deer in headlights, he dropped his hand back to his side, opening and closing his mouth. “I think that is the first time I have ever seen the James Potter speechless.” Regulus just shook his head and stood, “Allons-y.” Sirius, Pandora, Evan and Barty all got to their feet.
Everyone started walking, but before they could leave, Regulus turned to look at James, “I forgot to introduce myself, I’m Regulus Black, Sirius Black’s younger brother, and I would watch your step.” He said, turning on his heel and marching out.
He glanced over his shoulder as he got to the doors, watching James sulkily sit at a table with the rest of his roommates, who were laughing at him. When he joined the others in the hallway, Barty looked like he had been hit in the head with a basketball. “You do realize you probably just caused problems for yourself right?” Evan asked. Pandora just wrapped her arm around Regulus’ shoulders.
“He’s a dick, I don’t care.” Regulus said, he looked over to see Sirius smiling, “Grazie, davvero, significa molto.” He said, rubbing the back of his neck. Regulus smiled back at him, “I’m the only one allowed to treat you like shit because you know it’s out of love.” Sirius laughed loudly. Barty, who finally seemed to have found his voice, was making noises that sounded like he was trying to form words.
“I- uh- how-” Regulus rolled his eyes he didn’t have time for Barty’s little freak out. “Yes yes, I told him to fuck off, I know it was a bad idea.” He said, waving his hand and wrapping his arm around Pandora’s waist. “I believe I was promised a tour.” Regulus said. Pandora clapped excitedly, “Ooo yes!!” She said, moving to take Regulus’ hand in her own.
“Alright, let’s show these two the ropes.” Pandora said, swinging Regulus’ hand back and forth, “Gesù cristo! Don’t rip my arm out of its socket.” He said, wincing at Pandora’s energy. Barty and Evan gladly started leading them down the hallways, showing them away from the canteen.
There were a bunch of offices and places that Regulus didn’t really pay attention to at all.
“These are what you were waiting for Reg..” Pandora whispered, squeezing Regulus’ hand to get his attention, “These studios are free to use twenty-four hours a day.” She nodded to the many doors lining the hallways. “Really?” He asked, his head perking up to glance at the empty studio space.
They were much bigger than the spaces that Regulus was used to practicing in; he was imagining all of the things that he would be able to accomplish in those spaces. He was already thinking about all the combinations he would be able to do, without interruption of the younger classes coming into the studio.
“Hello? Earth to Regulus?” Evan’s voice broke Regulus out of his thoughts. He looked over at Evan, “Hmm?” He hummed as Sirius laughed, “Honestly Regulus is probably thinking about going to grab his dance stuff and then holing himself away in a studio for the next few hours.” Regulus opened his mouth to protest, but Sirius really did know him well.
Regulus nodded, “I was actually..” Pandora squeezed Regulus’ hand before letting go, “Go on, we can always catch up with you later.” Regulus gave her a thankful smile, “Ci vediamo dopo Siri!” Sirius waved goodbye before turning back to focus on what Evan was saying.
Regulus smiled, and headed down the hallway that they came from, really hoping that he wouldn’t get lost. The halls did remind him of the unhappy manor that he grew up in, all stone and somehow too suffocatingly warm. The way his footsteps echoed in the empty hallways made a shiver shoot down his spine.
He shivered slightly. He wasn’t cold, but the shiver shook his entire body, as he finally found the lift that would take him up to the dorm floors. Regulus liked to keep his head down when he knew there was a possibility that people would be looking at him, and that’s exactly what he did. He hadn’t noticed that another person had gotten onto the lift with him, until his hand was joined by another reaching to press the floor button.
“Oh sorry.” The other voice said, causing Regulus to jump a bit. Once Regulus’ heart stopped racing he looked up, meeting the honey brown eyes of the boy that had joined him in the lift. “You must be new, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you around.” The other boy said. Regulus didn’t know why all his English had suddenly failed him.
“Regulus, It’s nice to meet you.” He said finally, the other boy smiled, “Remus..” He said sticking out his hand, Regulus shook it. “It’s nice to meet you Regulus.” He said. Regulus smiled. Usually, Regulus was very shy towards strangers, which is why he liked France so much - no one expected you to randomly introduce themselves to you. America really was going to take some time to get used to.
Remus smiled brightly, “I wanted to apologize for James’ behavior this morning.” Regulus’ gaze snapped up again, causing Remus to laugh, “I live with him, plus I’ve known him for a very long time, he really doesn’t understand boundaries.” He explained. Regulus just nodded; he really wanted to speak and become friends with this random boy that was being so nice to him.
“He’s like my brother then.” He said, the words finally leaving his mouth. Remus raised an eyebrow, “He speaks!” Regulus blushed, “I don’t think in English first, I have to translate all my thoughts before speaking them, I apologize.” He watched the door slide open, he motioned for Remus to step out first.
“Is your brother Sirius Black by chance?” Remus asked, Regulus felt himself blush. “You heard the canteen speech, didn’t you?” He asked, the other boy just laughed. “I’ll be the first to admit it, James deserved it.” Regulus stopped walking, “You didn’t think I looked like..” Regulus paused trying to find the word he wanted to use.
“A dick?” Remus supplied.
“Esattamente.” Regulus said softly, Remus just nodded, like he understood what Regulus was saying. He stopped in front of his door, “This is me.” He said, both of them stared at the door silently. Regulus knew that if he didn’t offer to invite him in, his Uncle would somehow find out about it and find his way here.
“Would you.. Want to come in?” He asked, digging at the carpet with the toe of his boot. Remus shrugged, “Yeah, you seem like more intelligent conversation than my friends.” He said. Regulus pushed the door open and motioned for Remus to go first, Regulus stepped in after him.
“This is a lot nicer than our room, I guess that’s because you live with a girl.” Regulus, who was kneeling in front of his suitcase, rooting through to find his dance stuff. “Huh? Oh Pandora? Yeah, she would sooner stab someone than see a dirty sock on the floor.” He explained, Remus let out a laugh, bending over and clutching his stomach.
Regulus pulled his dance bag out and dropped it on the floor, his face breaking into a smile. WHen Remus was finally able to catch his breath, he sat down on Regulus’ bed and watched him pull all his dance stuff out, looking for something specific. Remus wiped a tear from his eye, “I’m pretty sick of dirty socks myself.” He said, his eyes watching every article of clothing that Regulus was pulling out of his suitcase.
“You could have Pandora, she always smells like lavender.” Regulus said, finally finding the second shoe that he was looking for. “I would take you up on that offer, but that would mean you would get James.” Regulus dropped the shoe he was holding, “On second thought, I would like to keep Pandora and never trade.” He said, stuffing everything into his dance bag.
Remus started laughing and Regulus joined him after a few giggles. “I like you. We are going to be friends.” Remus said smiling widely, Regulus was thrilled, he hadn’t ever had a friend other than Sirius and Pandora, “I agree, I think we are going to be great friends.” He said, zipping his bag up. “Are you from Italy?” Remus asked, leaning back onto his hands.
Regulus shook his head, “France.” he said, Remus snapped his finger, “That explains the accent.” Regulus laughed, “Are you asking because I speak Italian?” He asked, raising an eyebrow. Remus waved his hands in front of his face, “No no no.. Well, I mean yes.” Remus said, looking down at his legs. Regulus laughed, “I’m joking, I speak both French and Italian, so you weren’t far off.” He said.
Remus looked relieved, “Thank god.” He said, Regulus shouldered his bag, “Do you have somewhere to be?” Remus asked, moving to stand up. “Not really, I was going to dance but-” Regulus dropped his bag back onto the floor. “I’m still a little tired from traveling.” He said, sitting on the other side of his bed. Remus must have sensed that he really did want to go dancing.
“How about we got to the studio together?” He asked, Regulus’ ears perked up. “You want to come?” He asked, he had never had someone that willingly went to the studio if there weren’t any classes. Pandora was great, but she barely went to the studio unless the assignment was a particularly hard one. Remus nodded, “Just let me change and grab my bag.” He said, sliding off Regulus’ bed.
“That way, you’ll be able to change and make sure that you have everything that you need.” Remus said, turning and heading towards the door, “I’ll be back in ten.” Regulus nodded, as soon as the door closed behind Remus, he slid off his bed, his feet hitting the floor without making a sound.
Grabbing the clothes that he had pulled out earlier, he locked himself into the bathroom to change. He knew that realistically he would be able to change without locking the door, but he didn’t want even the possibility of someone walking in. Which again, he knew was a stupid thought, but a thought that terrified him all the same.
Once he was dressed, he stepped back into the room and grabbed the first warm up top and bottoms he could find. He grabbed his bag and headed towards the door, to wait outside for Remus. He leaned against his door frame and continued his instagram scrolling that was interrupted this morning.
Regulus was staring at a post from someone from his dance academy back in France, when Remus appeared in front of him. “You ready?” He asked. Regulus shoved his phone into his bag and nodded.
The two boys started the long journey to the dance studios. After what seemed like hours, they arrived. Remus pushed the door open, “This is my favorite dance studio, it’s the biggest one.” Regulus nodded silently and placed his bag onto the floor, his eyes took in the large space with mirrors and barres all over the room.
“This is much bigger than my studio in France.” He said. Remus had taken to beginning his stretches. “Are the dance studios small in France? Somehow that makes no sense in my head, because ballet is so popular over there.” He said, arching his arm over his head and bending over.
Regulus sat on the floor and started stretching his legs, “Non, the opposite actually, all the ballet academy’s are huge.” He said, Remus hummed in agreement. “But my mother is.. How do you say it in English..” He said, trailing off trying to find the correct word. “Take all the time in the world.” Remus said, which made Regulus relax and take the time to find the right word.
Crazy seemed too tame for Walburga Black. He knew that there was another word he couldn’t think of.
“I’m guessing you mean some form of crazy?” Remus guessed, Regulus nodded, “The craziest you could be.” He responded, Remus sucked a breath in through his teeth. “So your moms a psycho?” He asked, Regulus snapped his fingers, “Exactly, so my Uncle who adopted us, tried to find a smaller academy so that my mom wouldn’t be able to track us down.” He explained.
Remus breathed in again, “That’s fucking rough.” Regulus nodded, “So yes, my dance academy was very small compared to what I started in.” He had finished his stretches and pulled his pointe shoes out of his bag, beginning the long process of preparing his feet and putting them on.
Regulus stood and began warming up his feet. Remus was watching him. “I’ve always wanted to wear pointe shoes.” Regulus shrugged, “They kind of suck to be honest with you.” Remus made a face and started nodding, “That makes a lot of sense actually, you’re standing on your literal fucking toes.” He replied.
Regulus finished stretching his feet. Turning to face Remus, he placed his hands on his hips.
“Alright Remus, let’s see what you’ve got.”
