I'm getting sick of complaints about the story. Like why didn't this happen or why is this. I'm trying to explain everything as possible and yet people aren't paying attention to the chapters I written.
1. Harry is living in a safehouse that no one knew except for Sirius. The house obviously has wards.
2. Why didn't Bernard sent a portkey to Harry? Again it's safehouse. It has wards. If the Potter's safehouse in Gotham was kept secret, I'm sure that it meant every letter is kept out. Dumbledore doesn't even know about it. So what does that tell you?
3. Sirius is still a wanted man. I'm a 100% sure he didn't want any letters coming through the wards and considering the fact that he's the only one who knew about the secret house, it's possible that James and Lily made him the secret keeper of this house alone. Which means no letters from anyone.
4. Bernard's annoying and a gary-stu. Well he didn't had much of a character in the comics aside from being Tim's love interest and a Robin fanboy, so might as well give him a personality.
5. Why didn't Bernard sent a letter to Harry.Again, safehouse, strict wards, etc. Do I have to repeat myself?
6. Why didn't Harry's needs come first? If you paid attention to the newest chapter, Bernard literally asked Tim to deal with the Dursleys, so he could have muggle custody of Harry. Also Bernard asked Tim to look for Harry and Sirius for him. Tim is still learning about the wizarding world, but he's not stupid. He knows enough where he can theorized how Harry and Sirius are hiding. Not only that Bernard is trying to sue Dumbledore and the Ministry. Dumbledore because of Harry and the Ministry because of Sirius. I think it's obvious that Bernard wants Sirius to be Harry's magical guardian since it was supposed to be that way. Also, he is going to have a tour of the Ministry of Magic. Gee, I wonder what's in there that's also important to the original Harry Potter plot and another reason why Voldemort went after Harry in the first place. Do I have to spell it out. PROPHECY!!!!!
Also Bernard is literally hunting down the horcruxes. Do you still want Harry to go horcrux hunting? No, well Bernard is doing Harry's job, unknowingly and saving Harry the events from Book 5, 6, and 7. Do you still want Harry dealing with a bunch of bullshit in book 5, 6, 7? No, well good!
7. Couldn't Bernard just go to the safehouse? The safehouse is under the Fidelius Charm. James and Lily tweaked it a bit so, muggles can see the house, but not wizards. That's why Damian saw it. Harry could see it because he's the owner and Sirius could see it because he's the secret keeper of that house. That's why Bernard sent a letter to Charlotte to see if the letter explains anything about his mom being the second secret keeper. If it does, then that means Charlotte might be a second secret keeper and can't tell anyone of the location. Only the primary (Sirius) can. If Charlotte is the secondary secret keeper, she can sent a letter (if the wards let her) to Sirius and let him know what's going on and who to talk to. That's why Bernard involved Tim now. If Charlotte isn't made the second secret keeper, then Tim would help and search for them. Even if Charlotte is the secondary keeper, she could just tell Sirius to talk to Tim and let the two planned everything out.
Before anyone asked why couldn't Charlotte just go and talk to Sirius herself. She works in MACUSA for crying out loud. She's a very busy person.
I'm getting sick of these complaints and I'm getting tired of it. Summer Letters didn't had complaints, but this story does. I find it funny to be honest.
I swear I can just spoiled everything that I'm planning and what I just told you guys just now are just upcoming. Just be glad I didn't spoiled any Damian x Harry scenes because those chapters will be coming up very soon.
I just want to write a story for fun and people to enjoy. That's it.
Also, I find it very hypocritical that I see fics of Harry being an over the top power house having both Black and Potter blood Master of Death and yet people complained about Bernard. Bernard is just a curse-breaker. He's not a healer, he's not a professor, and he's not a magical zoologist. He's only good at curse-breaking and being a potential auror.
This author's note will be deleted eventually. You guys will be getting a new chapter maybe next month. Unless, I'm motivated enough, then you won't wait for next month.
If you don't see another chapter next month, I'm probably on a hiatus because of all of this! I was planning to write two chapters per month since the semester if finally over, but now this happened, I don't know if I should do two chapters per month. I felt like I'm gonna get more complaints if I do that.
To those who kept complaining, thank you for lowering my motivation. Just be glad I didn't decide to delete this story.
For the rest of you, thank you for dealing with this authors note and I apologized for ranting. I just couldn't take the complaints any longer and decided I should address some things and slightly spoiling stuff.
I know I shouldn't get my anger the best of me, but when I kept getting repeated complaints, it just got to me.
