To Remus lupin, Sirius black was his whole world. It was not for a few years, he had realized this ages ago in their first year. Both boys had become fast friends. This is one particular memory of theirs that he would always remember.
After a particularly bad moon, Remus had found himself in the hospital wing. His head hurt, terribly and he couldn't feel his arms. He looked down at his arms to find many new scratches from his back to elbow. It looked like the wolf had gone all out this time. He then realized there was someone sitting on the chair next to him. Or rather sleeping in it.
It was Sirius Black, of course. He should have expected Padfoot to be here when no one was. He smiled to himself, drifting off to sleep again. Hours later, when he woke up again, Sirius was still there. Sitting there as quitely as possible, which worried Remus. As he opened his mouth to speak, an involuntary groan escaped his lips.
"Finally awake, are you?" He smirked. Although he looked tired, he tried to conceal it. Remus tried to get up but was pushed back. "Uh-huh. Not so soon, Moony. You gotta give yourself some rest." He said.
"If you say so." Remus replied, eyes heavy with exhaustion.
"Been here all night?" Remus inquired
"Yup. Couldn't leave you alone. You gave us all a scare yesterday, you know? You were bleeding so much."Sirius shuddered at the memory.
"Thank you." Remus said with an exhale.
"Like you wouldn't have done the same." Sirius smiled. Remus was sure he could get drunk on it. Because it was intoxicating.

The next day, when Remus was in the dorm room completing his homework and all the work he had missed the previous day, Padfoot decided to pay a visit.
"How are you, Moony?"
"Everything is fine. Just the hip, you know. Always been trouble." Remus replied shrugging.
Sirius grinned like a madman, "You're growing old,Moons."
Remus snorted, "People like me, don't grow old, Siri, we grow weary. We grow tired." He answered.
" And now you're a poet too." He dramatically flops on the bed next to him.
" Where is James?" Remus asked him
" Probably eating my brother's face off. Eugh." Sirius replied disgusted at the thought.
"Wanna cuddle?"
"Why do you even ask?"
Remus put his homework away and snuggled with raven haired boy. Sirius nuzzled his face in remus' chest and said "love you." Before falling asleep. Leaving Remus flabbergasted and surprised. This was the first time he'd said it.
"Love you, too Padfoot." He said softly, before pressing a kiss to Sirius' hair, and closing his eyes till he fell asleep.
