Chapter 1

It was already thirty years after the final battle. His friends started their families while Harry spent time in Japan. When he returned to Britain, the ever-observant Hermione confronted him about his absence and his non-ageing, which he tried but failed to hide behind the glamour.
That day, he spilt what happened in the forbidden forest.

He watched as Dumbledore vanished before his eyes, leaving him alone. At least he was a minute ago, but now in his sight was no longer the Hogwarts Express but a hooded figure, as if he was always there and everything else was just an illusion.

"Who are you?" Harry asked, trying to calm his erratic heartbeat.
The silent figure got too much closer, hands tenderly cradling his face.

"My beloved master, I was waiting for you to come to me. If not for that meddling coot, I would have contacted you sooner."

Harry was slightly confused. Yes, he pieced together the bits of information that the being is Death, for who not alive would call him master?
It was the most likely fault of Deathly Hollows.
But the certainty of them meeting sooner than it spoke about was new.

"What do you mean? The hollows were united just before Voldemort killed me."

"Yes, but they were always meant to be yours. They would eventually come to you upon your fifteenth birthday when all magical comes to their inheritance.
But Dumbledor sealed yours when he placed you on the doorstep of that wretched family." answered him and finally let go of his face.

Of course, he knew everyone passed through inheritance, but his uncle had beaten him at that time, so when he didn't notice any difference in power, he attributed it to his magic trying to heal him.

"Unfortunately, you can't be here for too long. You must go back, and visit Gringotts to let them help you with the binding on your core. After that, we can talk even without you visiting limbo." Death said, kissing his brow before his vision got dark and his ears assaulted the murmurings and shouts of Death Eaters trying to help Voldemort up.

After the battle, while everyone was preoccupied, he slipped to Diagon Alley and visited goblins.
To his surprise, their reaction was to let him pay for the dragon debacle and then ushered him to the ritual room.
It seems, they had been trying to contact him for years, but couldn't because of a mail ward.

The unbinding hurt, but unfortunately, he wasn't given even a minute of respite before his creature inheritance started. He was left panting on the floor before regaining the strength to stand up and conjure the mirror.
And what a sight it was.

His hair fell straight to his waist, hiding longer, pointy ears. What was more shocking were the dragon horns on his head and fair complexion. Were he a blonde, he would look like bloody Malfoy.

For some reason, his new androgynous look pleased that side of him, which had to wear Dudley's big cast-offs. He could finally wear and do whatever he wanted.

A polite cough from Ragnok made him vanish the mirror, prick his finger on the offered dagger and give three drops of blood on the inheritance parchment.
After discovering that his mother was adopted by the Evans family, rendering the blood protection useless, he had to suppress his magic.
He didn't even need to look to know that he was now the wealthiest wizard in Britain. What was more interesting were his lordships and finally finding out what creature he bloody was.

Potter and the Black family's names were expected, but the one from his mother's side did not sound English.
Reigen's name is Japanese, but his appearance, save his cat-like eyes, suggests that one or both of his grandparents were British.

After a conversation with the goblins, he changed his name and used a portkey to leave Britain and its problems behind.

Hermione was shocked, but after he told her of his inability to die or age anymore, she, with a heavy heart, decided to help him find a place where he didn't need to pretend or change his identity every few years.

Both of them were not naive to think that if someone were to catch a whiff of his immortality, they would proclaim him as the next Dark Lord and shove him in Azkaban or let the Unspeakables experiment on him. Even now, they want to know how he survived the killing curse.

Three months later, they found an old ritual that can transport someone to another world that fulfils the requirements written in the circle.
So after weak, Harry, with a pouch full of his possessions, money and other things, stood in the carefully drawn runic circle chanting the spell.
The next minute, he vanished, leaving behind his past forever.
