His dark skin ablaze, Remus kisses Sirius’ navel with the passion of a performance long-awaited. That is exactly how he feels about Sirius. Aching and excited as though he was waiting one-thousand years just to grab at her skin, wherever he can, however Sirius will let him.
Remus feels Sirius shiver, looking up to see his beautiful partner lying on their bed with a relaxed look on her face.
“Moons”, His love hums.
She’s grinning at him, that beautiful toothy grin she reserves for the people closest. He’s mildly aware that she shows this smile to her beloved friends. James, Mary, Marlene. Whoever. Never like this. This is for them. She smiles differently. Smiles till her eyes crease with lines of joy and her face almost looks like it cannot contain her emotion. Smile bright like a star, heating Remus up in every inch of skin.
The feel of her skin all-consuming, he thinks of their differences. Remus is quite used to his body, as everyone is, used to the jagged edges, the bones clear, skinny. His height must have something to do with it. Sirius is thicker, so lovely, so dear to him. So different from his own. There’s skin to grab, muscles to soothe, something to hold close. Something to put feeling into, storing it in her love.
Sirius, with her beautiful hands, grabs remus’ hair to motion him forward, closer to her face. He kisses at her neck, her cheeks, her collarbone. He cannot bring himself to stop, he needs her to know. To know how she sets him on fire, how she should be treated gently, but he cannot seem to stop rubbing at her soft skin.
She makes satisfied noises against his hair, and Remus almost needs to move away to recollect himself, but she whines.
“Don’t go. It’s fine baby,”
Sirius has always known how he is, how intense he can be, how his emotions show when they’re alone. She said she doesn’t mind, swearing she craves it when he’s not there to imprint his edges onto her.
Remus pulls a groan from her lips with his own, and moves his face to Sirius’ neck and felt himself relax at the smell of lavender and the cigarette they had smoked earlier on.
Remus moves his hand to her hair, Sirius moves her head to his scarred chest, and they are happy.
