Chapter 02
1981 - England
"Okay, what now?" asked Fabian his new awakened brother.
"We'll go to Gringotts, get money, an apartment and do an inheritance test. Then we get Harry out of Dursley Hell." Gideon explains the plan.
"Well then let's change the future, dear brother!" shouted Fabian, grabbed his other half and apparated away.
They reappear in Diagon Alley and, after a quick check that everything is safe, make their way to the Goblin Bank. They weave themselves through the people in the alley and enter the bank. There were only a few people in the marble halls in front of them. After a short wait, the twins arrived in front of one of the goblin tellers and were taken straight to the account manager of the Prewett family.

"Well that's interesting." says the Prewett account manager as he looks at the twins' inheritance tests.
He hands them the parchments. "Welcome back Lords Prewett."
Fabian and Gideon look at each other uncertainly after looking at the test. Fangtooth now knew that they weren't supposed to be here or even alive.
"Don't worry, gentlemen, you are not the first to try for a second chance."
"We are not?"
"Oh no. Something like this happens every few decades. Something always changes but it never makes things worse than they were before. Lady Magic would never let someone return with the wrong intentions." he tells them.
"So there won't be any problems for us?" asks Gideon.
"There won't be any, you are Fabian and Gideon Prewett no matter what you two have experienced in your other lives."
"Okay, what if we want to get someone out of a bad situation?"
"What kind of situation would we be talking about?"
"We want to save someone from an abusive future, someone who is not related to us."
"You would have to bring this person here and we would check whether their claims are true and whether there is anyone who qualifies as a Guardian."
The two brothers look at each other and it seems as if they are talking to each other without words. They nod at each other and turn back to Fangtooth.
"We will do it like this."
They rose from their chairs.
"Well then I expect you back soon. May your gold ever flow.
"May your coffers never be empty," they both say and bow to the goblin.
The twins leave the bank after visiting their vaults and apparate again.
