Kiyora here had a few running jokes I had planned for him- Born a girl, but got confused as a guy so often by fanclubs he's just accepted that he's guy now forever, he guesses.- Kiyora was actually planned to be Kiyora Haruno (name means blue-green, color of his eyes ; to match the theme with sakura being named after her hair.) but I couldn't figure out how he was going to be related to sakura (father? grandfather? uncle? cousin? much older brother?) so I had to leave it behind. that being said, his hair is still pink- Planned for him to be roughly in Minato's/Sakumo's generation, just so that if put in present day he too could corrupt the youth into crawling into library with him and discover the joys of reading and subsequently horrify their jonin senseis. didn't get far enough to play with the idea though- No one can enter the Library still, Kiyora is firmly of the opinion that if you can make it to the book you get to know the rules. no one has been able to. many people suck up their pride and just ask for kiyora himself to check if there's any books on what they want to know about available instead. many shinobi owe kiyora favours. he hoards them because the only thing he likes (books) are inaccessible to other people and he has no idea what to ask for otherwise

*WARNING ! This option tends to leave many in the BACKGROUND, usually as a PLOT RELATED SIDE CHARACTER or as a CONVENIENT EXTRA MODEL. If you go down the SHINOBI path, eventually you can fully master both chakra extensive techniques and chakra precision techniques but it requires PRODIGY levels in INTELLIGENCE, DEXTERITY, AGILITY, BATTLE EXP, VITALITY, WISDOM, STAMINA, and LUCK. Choosing this is practically picking life's HARDCORE MODE! There's also a higher chance of FATALITY during missions! All overpowered stats do need a natural counter, after all!

DESCRIPTION : You've chosen your reserves, now choose your PERK! Chakra is an extensive subject, and many SPECIAL SKILLS come from it! Now it's time for you to choose your own! You cannot change this later, no matter the hard work! You're stuck with this one forever bud! Pick carefully!

[CHAKRA SENSING] [LEVEL 1] : You can sense the chakra of others! As you level up the more clear and exact it will be! Level 1 sensors have a general sense of where people are in a small room if they're familiar with the signatures already. Ideally paired with [LOW CHAKRA RESERVES] and [MEDIC] CLASS - always good to have an ace up your sleeve!* Neutralized by [CHAKRA SUPPRESSION]

[CHAKRA SUPPRESSION] [LEVEL 1] : You can silence your chakra! As you level up the better you can hide your chakra presence more and more! Level 1 chakra suppressing lets people tell you're in the room, but your chakra seems a bit faint - did you use a little too much today? Mask your reserves! Ideally best paired with [Large Chakra Reserves].* Neutralized by [CHAKRA SENSING]

[DOUBLING DOWN] : Times your [CHAKRA RESERVES] effects by 2! It makes [LARGE CHAKRA RESERVES] larger - giving more stamina, but making it harder to control - it makes [LOW CHAKRA RESERVES] even lower - giving better control, but less stamina!* Higher percent chance of randomly assigned [JINCHURIKI] STATUS if paired with [LARGE CHAKRA RESERVES] - LOCKED option if chose [AVERAGE CHAKRA RESERVES]

[CHAKRA ABSORPTION] [LEVEL 1] : Absorb the chakra of your opponent and be able to utilize it as if it's your own! Ideally best paired with [CLOSE RANGE] FIGHTING STYLE - at level one you can absorb small slivers of chakra if you've made continued contact for a large amount of time. Best leveled up through specialized training.* Hard to hide this! If you're looking for a secret badass ace in the sleeve this isn't it, chakra absorption being done is usually very obvious - even to the eyes of the most untrained of chunin! Even if the target doesn't notice - someone else most definitely will! Be careful - don't want you to go missing because of your obviously rare and unique skill!

[SUPERIOR SENSES] : Funneling chakra to enhance your senses is an intermediate skill for most chunin level shinobi - but in your case, you get it free of charge! You're so much better than them, in fact, that subconsciously your body performs this skill without even needing to think about it! It comes to you as easily as breathing!* Tends to overwhelm the PLAYER if not able to adequately muffle senses in environments that are too stimulating!

[NONE] : [CHAKRA PERKS] come with one major downside - they're hard to hide, and bad people are always looking for easily influenced people with them! The chances of being killed off, abducted, and or stolen for various different nefarious schemes because of one of these go way up if you can't hide them well! Unless you have high STEALTH it may be the safest route to just have none at all!

* Regardless of what you chose - there's a very low percent chance of being born with an entirely separate chakra perk! In the case of NEUTRALIZING perks COMING TOGETHER they end up PAIRING UP to work for you! In the case of ENTIRELY DIFFERENT and SOMEWHAT CONTRADICTORY chakra perks like [CHAKRA ABSORPTION] and [DOUBLING DOWN] ; [LOW CHAKRA RESERVES] EDITION - they will MELT TOGETHER to create a NEW SKILL that BENEFITS and INCONVENIENCES the PLAYER equal amounts for the sake of FAIRNESS. Does that make sense to you? Let's hope so!

DESCRIPTION : The Elemental Nations are a scary place to wander alone! Everyone has a place to call home, what's yours going to be? MINOR COUNTRIES are AUTOMATICALLY LOCKED. See previous explanation on LOCKED options for why that may be! Be careful - this can be changed later, but well...it's not very pretty, ever. Villages in countries are randomly selected if on CIVILIAN path, and you'll be automatically put into the hidden village of a country if on SHINOBI path.

[THE LAND OF FIRE] : The origins of hidden villages, the nation of fire and sun! One of the hottest countries on the map - gives natural resistance to more humid hot weather and a resistance to the effects of a handful of bugs found only in fire country. A higher percent chance of being spawned with a primary [FIRE] affinity. -50 REPUTATION with [THE LAND OF LIGHTNING], [THE LAND OF EARTH], and [THE LAND OF WIND] because of past grievances between the nations.* Overarching optional potential main story quests; [THE IDENTITY OF UZUMAKI NARUTO], [THE UCHIHA MASSACRE], [ROOT], [DANZO SHIMURA], and [...TOBI?]

[THE LAND OF WATER] : The origins of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, the nation of mist and water! One of the least peaceful nations on the map, according to...literally everyone, somehow. Yet, you'll find that the land of water keeps itself out of political conflicts as much as possible! The downside? The reason they stay out of political conflicts between countries is because you'll find they're too busy resolving infighting to even consider it. Spawning in the land of the water - occasionally referred to as the land of mist - gives higher percent chance of having a primary [WATER] affinity. You get -25 REPUTATION with civilians nations outside of mist - even if you're on the CIVILIAN path yourself - because of Kirigakure's violent and bloodthirsty reputation. You also get a natural resistance to most waterborne illnesses, because of evolutionary resistance developed over the years.* Overarching optional potential main story quests; [GRADUATION], [THE MIZUKAGE], [THE COUP], [INNER CONFLICTS], and [THE SEVEN SWORDS OF THE MIST] - chances of defecting from the land of water is high if intending to go on the SHINOBI path, and the special [HUNTER-NIN] CLASS is exclusive to Mist. Quest lines are unstable because of the high defection rate - so more 'free-form' game play is encouraged, and has been thoroughly planned for if the PLAYER intends to spawn here! Oh, did I forget to mention the high fatality, aggression, and danger rates? There's certainly a reason Kiri is known as the bloody mist!

[THE LAND OF WIND] : The origins of the Puppet Technique, the nation of sand and deserts! The largest nation on the map - however, most of the mass of the land of wind is entirely uninhabitable because of the lack of oasis to build cities in. Natural resistance for dry heat - on the downside, this leaves you weaker to more tame, cold, and humid climates. Currently a very dry industry for a SHINOBI considering that the Daimyo has been outsourcing missions to Konoha for a while now, maybe you can work on that...? Higher percentage chance of spawning with a primary [WIND] affinity. -40 REPUTATION with [THE LAND OF EARTH], [THE LAND OF FIRE], and -10 REPUTATION with [THE LAND OF WATER] because of previous grievances between the nations. Very slight and mild natural poison resistance - funny enough, your ancestors weren't very keen on being stung by scorpions.* Overarching optional potential main story quests; [GAARA OF THE SAND], [THE ANTI-KAZEKAGE FACTION], [THE WIND DAIMYO], [SASORI OF THE RED SAND], and [KONOHA'S INVASION] - a slight boost to the [SCIENTIST] and [RESEARCHER] classes, unexpectedly Suna has quite the extensive history in experimentation..good thing for you, that's not your issue until you have to face it in person, for now just enjoy the perks! The special [PUPPETEER] CLASS is exclusive to Wind, and instead of 'clans' Sunagakure has 'families.' Make sure not to slip on that! You don't want to see what the Kazekage does to people deemed suspicious, really.

[THE LAND OF LIGHTNING] : [LOCKED] (YOU lack SOMETHING for [THE LAND OF LIGHTNING] in order to SAFELY and SUFFICIENTLY live there without MAJOR or MINOR complications occurring! If you don't have any idea in mind or have any questions on why this may be, please redirect them to the help box.)

[THE LAND OF EARTH] : The origins of.....something? Not much is known about the land of earth by other nations because of the communications block due to the rocky mountain range - and to even the playing field, you aren't going to be told much either! You have a higher percentage of spawning with a primary [EARTH] affinity, you have -40 REPUTATION in [THE LAND OF FIRE], [THE LAND OF WIND], -35 in [THE LAND OF WATER], -30 in [THE LAND OF LIGHTNING] and -20 REPUTATION in other minor countries outside of earth because of the perceived antagonistic nature of Iwagakure.* Overarching optional potential main story quests; [DEIDARA OF THE EXPLOSION CORPS], [????], [????], [????], [?????]. Consider this a hard mode option, a complete unknown - will you emerge victorious, or fail at the starting line? Not recommended for the faint of heart, heavily increases FATALITY chances during ENCOUNTERS with OTHER SHINOBI if on SHINOBI path, as well as MISSION FATALITY, and GENERAL ANTAGONISM against you.

CHOSE CLASS
DESCRIPTION : Okay - after the pressure of all..that, let's do something easier! CLASS is well, what you are - what you specialize in, what your job is! It's fine if you want to leave it blank for now - most SHINOBI hopefuls take years to pick out theirs, and I'm asking you to choose in under thirty minutes right now - there's no shame in wanting to explore your options! Unlike previous questions this gives you no boosts or negatives until you actually manage to achieve this CLASS - for now you're just a HOPEFUL. More branches and options will come as you become aware of them - for now all you have is these ones.

[HOSPITAL MEDIC HOPEFUL] : A medic that is stationed in a hospital. Self-explanatory. I can't always spit out witty one-liners, you know.

[FRONT-LINE MEDIC HOPEFUL] : A medic that desires to fight and heal equally! Considering the..laws in place, it's going to be hard, but through sheer force of will I believe you can manage anything you put your heart - and probably large amounts of money and poker chips - to, so don't you give up just yet!

[NINJUTSU MASTER HOPEFUL] : Almost every kid's dream - even if they think "Ninjutsu Master" and "Ninja" are interchangeable terms.. and also don't know what ninjutsu even is. I believe in you, though! Ninjutsu is a variable art, not necessarily battle orientated! You can practically pick anyone off the street that'd be able to steer you in the right direction...even weird guys with silver hair giggling and blushing about something they seem to be reading literally walking down the street!

[TAIJUTSU MASTER HOPEFUL] : Unconventional! Many tend to overlook taijutsu for the more flashy or subtle arts of Jutsu, like ninjutsu and genjutsu. I see a lot of youth in your future! Oh - and..green? And..springtime turtles? Ah nevermind that - my fortune ball is probably broken, all it's saying is nonsense. I still think you can do it, though!

[GENJUTSU MASTER HOPEFUL] : Unique! Many have the potential for genjutsu, but think it more practical to go for more physically damaging arts instead. I see a good future in front of you - the only thing between you and becoming a genjutsu master is a lack of a shinsou of your own to teach you about the arts - and if you bring it up to your academy teacher, they'll probably sort it out for you!

[FUINJUTSU MASTER HOPEFUL] : Quite the outlier indeed! Most jonin worth their salt know a thing or two about fuinjutsu arrays - but very little can claim the 'master' title - unlike ninjutsu, it seems you can't just pick up a white haired weirdo off the street and call it a day ...you have to look at the baths instead, of course!

DESCRIPTION : You have parents don't you? Go on and select them, then! You get to choose and everything! The clan option is it's own menu - it's a long list, honestly.

[GENUINE ORPHAN] : Your parents are out of the picture! You've never known them, and currently Konoha doesn't have widespread enough dna tests for them to be wasted on no name orphans willy-nilly. Slight chance of being adopted before graduation - but most likely you'll just become an 'adult' and move to a cheap apartment once you hit genin.

[CLAN KID] : The mythical slightly easier than average game mode! You have a family that backs your choices - as long as they fit with the ideals of the clan and actively are for the betterment of it, of course. Different STATS are given on case by case basis. Generally have a higher chance of graduation, though.

[CIVILIAN BORN] : Loving parents, but the SHINOBI path will be oh so very slightly more difficult for you to achieve because of your lack of resources. Your parents will worry - but most parents do, at least civilian ones anyways. They just want you to be happy and safe - and SHINOBI startle them. They may subtly try and convince you away from becoming a SHINOBI - with varying levels of success and underhandedness, depending on their CHARACTERS. Most of all though, they're kind and understanding people who want the best for you.

[TAILORED] : An orphan that's an orphan for plot relevance? How new and inspired! I've never seen this before! Your STATS and CHARACTER PROFILE - instead of being made to fit other people it will instead go the other way around! The tailored role takes your PERSONALITY and STATS, combs through the ESTABLISHED 'CANON' CHARACTER PROFILES that could PLAUSIBLY HAVE A CHILD your age, and match the two of you together as parent and child systematically through that! Complicated stuff, generally not advised though - usually you'll end up in an orphanage because your parent either didn't want you or didn't know you existed. It's basically just the sadder orphan option, because you'll probably run into a parent at one point and it's going to be awkward.

DESCRIPTION: Ha, you thought you had seen the last of me, huh? Nope! I'm here to explain STATS to you! Most of the stats you see are ones converted from when you were alive, as well as additional ones added from your choices over the quiz so far! The 'baseline' for most average human being STATS is 5 points. I think most of the STATS are self explanatory - but SANITY is a little confusing, so lets explain that one. SANITY isn't 'mental wellness' - it's actually FORTIFICATION OF MIND. Low SANITY STATS make a PLAYER weaker to MENTAL ATTACKS such as genjutsu, as well as non-physical attacks such as EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION. There are ways to combat this - but the most direct method is just raising the SANITY stat - something unfortunately hard to achieve. Oh! You probably noticed that instead of STRENGTH you have BATTLE EXP huh? I'd explain but I think I'm nearing my time limit - ask for a DESCRIPTION once you LOAD IN and you'll get one, okay?
