Into the Dark
Hermione was almost asleep when Thorin shouted and the floor gave way, they suddenly dropped down slides into a cage. Goblins, she knew they were in the caves but she had forgotten just how ugly they were. Unfortunately they smelled worse than they looked.
As the dwarves and she were being grabbed by the goblins Hermione looked back to make sure Harry was taking care of Bilbo. Their plan only worked if he went over with the hobbit. Sure enough neither of the boys had been caught.
She sent prayers that nothing went awry as she was led towards a large platform.
Harry quickly looked around for Bilbo, noticing that they were the only two left upon the platform. Just as he motioned for the hobbit to follow, a goblin appeared and he shoved it over the side, not realizing that it had a hold of Bilbo. Noticing the small fellow tumble after the goblin Harry jumped into the chasm, waving his hand at Bilbo to slow his descent into the darkness.
Taking a look around Harry noticed they had landed in a cavern filled with mushrooms. He watched as a strange creature finished off the goblin and drug it away. He immediately started searching for the ring he knew was on the ground. Making a soft noise of triumph he picked up the ring and placed it in a small pouch. The pouch was enchanted to contain the influence and ring put out to control the wearer.
Wish we had this On the horcrux hunt he thought to himself, would have made things So much easier.
