And that's how the posing lasts.
Remus was on the way to Sirius and James' place, because it happened that Sirius and James, both left some things in his and Lily's flat. And since Remus started to think of himself as someone, who find and returns others' belongings, he decided he could spare some of his time to bring it to Sirius in the evening. He said he'll wait for Remus, because James will be at some training event.
"I could come to your flat, you didn't have to drive all the way here," Sirius said, opening the door for Remus, when he arrived. Remus smiled and shook his head.
"No problem, I have to make a stop in the convenience shop on my way back, so I would have to go either way."
Sirius flashed him a smile. "Sure, do you want something to drink?"
"Just water, please. I'll be on my way in a few minutes."
"Oh, naturally. You can place it in my room," Sirius said, and pointed at the door next to the bathroom. Remus nodded and entered the room. He put down the plastic bag he had, on Sirius' bed and looked around, as he never really saw this room. It was very Sirius-like. With a lot of dark colours, but even if they were dark, the room still was colourful and lively. It was more about making colours match than create some dark mood in the room. A lot of dusky red and gold accents appeared in his bedroom and it kind of gave this bravery vibe, that Remus admitted, suited Sirius.
Also, a few sets of clothes were spread over the bed, like Sirius was trying to choose what to wear. Remus smiled at this sight.
But the most drawing attention feature was the walls of the room, covered with so many pictures that it was barely possible to see the wallpaper.
Remus chuckled quietly, when he saw a lot of motorcycles pictures between the photos of people.
It was an amazing view, to see all these well-taken photos, most probably by Sirius. He was in a lot of photographs, too, so there had to be other people who took them. James was in most of them, Regulus was on a few, too. Remus guessed there would be more photos of Regulus, if he agreed. He suspected Regulus didn't really like photos being taken of him. And he surely knew about every one, Sirius took. Remus believed, Regulus was so strong headed, that he allowed these pictures to be put on the wall, not allowing it, without his consent. Probably because Sirius is so stubborn, that he pestered his brother until he allowed him. Remus even found a real gem of a photo of Sirius and Regulus together, on which the younger brother is in the middle of rolling his eyes, when Sirius is gesticulating energetically. Regulus probably hated this photo.
Remus was following the photos, taking them in, and it was such a happy wall, that he himself felt more relaxed and joyful after watching it. He wanted to leave, and join Sirius, but at the last moment, he saw pictures on the bedside table. Typically, he wouldn't intrude, because these photographs weren't on the display. They were private, maybe some of them weren't meant to be seen, just the chosen one. But he saw himself there. And it wasn't even a photo of him with others, though he saw a glimpse of Lily's birthday photoshoot.
The photo was of him, only him, and Remus recognized it as the day, when with Lily, they visited James and Sirius to watch a film.
It was a really precious photograph. Remus felt mesmerized by it, and took it, to see it closer. It was… strange. Different. Remus was looking at the photo and didn't see himself from his eyes. He saw from Sirius' eyes. That shouldn't be possible, but there he was, holding proof in his hand. What's more, for probably the first time in his life, Remus felt really narcissistic, because he looked… beautiful on this photograph. A lot better than he looked on a daily basis. Sirius was truly magical photographer. It was almost like he charmed this photo. To enchant, to bewitch people seeing it. But there was more… Remus saw not only Sirius' perspective, he also saw his… feelings. Or maybe Remus hoped so, because all he could feel, all Sirius' feelings he could see was… affection. His heartbeat increased, he got nervous suddenly. Remus knew there was sometimes a tension between them, and he knew Sirius looked at him differently, and complimented him, but Remus wondered if it was all as a photograph object, or as a person. As a man. As himself. And this photo, made him think, that maybe…
"Sorry for the clothes, I completely forgot to clean them up!" Sirius barged in, but then came to a halt, noticing what Remus hold. "Oh, I swear, I didn't want to hang it or anything, and I actually would show it to you, if I wanted to do something with this photo, ask for your permission," Sirius was babbling, coming nearer Remus. He looked genuinely stressed out. "I kind of took it without your consent, but I would never use it in any unpleasant for you way, nor would I show it to anyone, until you would let me, and…"
"Sirius," Remus interrupted. He put the photo down and looked at the object of his affection. And the said object of his affection focused on him, and seemed to be a little taken aback. Remus suspected that he portrayed a lot of his feelings on his face, and hoped it was surprising Sirius in a good way. And as he saw him blushing, glancing at his feet, but then gazing at Remus, again, Remus decided to take his chance.
He stretched his hand to take Sirius' hand in his, not breaking their eyes contact.
"Can I kiss you?" Remus asked, almost in a whisper. Sirius squeezed his hand, but Remus believed it was unintentional and not really conscious, because he was looking at Remus with wide eyes and slightly opened mouth, like the situation couldn't be more abstract. Remus chuckled. "Gosh, you're so adorable," he said, and it must have woken Sirius up, because he suddenly blushed and sensing Remus taking back his hand, he grasped it harder.
Sirius blushed, but took a timid step to Remus and cupped his cheek with a free hand.
Remus leaned in, and waited only a moment, before linking their lips together, and they were kissing. He didn't know when they let go of each other hands, but Remus felt Sirius' second hand in his hair, pulling him in, the kiss deepening. He himself didn't know what to do with his hands, so he just put his arms around the back of Sirius' neck.
At one moment, Sirius pulled back, just a little, to look Remus in the face. He gave one intense look, and studied Remus' face, and Remus, too, took Sirius in. Flushed cheeks, slightly opened mouth, starry-eyed. And then Sirius placed his forehead on Remus' shoulder. They both laughed a little, just a soft chuckle and Remus kissed Sirius' hair, instinctively, just because he felt like it. He embraced him tightly, Sirius hugged him back, and they stayed like this, taking the warmth, the pleasure, as well as the comfort from their proximity.
They stayed like this.

Two weeks later
It's been a few weeks, since James met Lily and offered her to model for them. And when the time finally came, Remus wouldn't have expected to be in the middle of the chaos, when the photoshoot was getting ready, and that he would be reading a book, when the photo session went on, sitting in the corner. However, he wasn't really focusing on the book. Remus was more occupied with watching all people on the set, smiling at Lily, when she truly had no idea what to do at first, but was so encouraged by James and Sirius, that she nailed it in the end, in his humble opinion. Noticing people come and go, only a few people being a constant. Mostly, though, Remus observed Sirius. It was something still new to him, seeing his boyfriend professional, but at the same time, bright and cheery. In his element. Sirius was so passionate, and so beautiful, that truly, it wasn't hard to get too distracted to finish the reading.
Remus was just looking at Sirius, hearing how they all were finishing for the day, and Sirius looked back at him, beaming right away. And it was the most wonderful thing in the world, really. The other person's smile. Sirius' smile was especially charming for Remus. So wide, and taking like one third of his face, so sincere. Like Sirius was.
It didn't take long, until Sirius approached Remus, took away the book from him and placed it on the table next to them, so he could sit on Remus' lap, so he could nuzzle up against him. Remus enveloped him in a hug, and placed his chin, on Sirius head. He made it to see James approaching Lily and giving her a quick peck on the lips, before Sirius hummed, taking all Remus attention.
"You did good," Remus said, and felt Sirius' laugh more than he heard it.
"I know, Lily did too."
"James, too, with all this thumbs up and waving and beaming," Remus joked, and Sirius tittered.
"He actually got in a few photos, this nitwit," Sirius replied, and after this, his phone vibrated, so he took it out from his pocket, and placed it on the table, without even looking at it, before claiming back his earlier position. His phone vibrated again, and Remus glanced at the screen, with him on Sirius' wallpaper.
"In the end, I modelled for you, right?" Remus asked, seeing the photo. It was of him, laughing at something James said. James is visible only a little, though, just a bit of his arm.
Remus looked at it, but didn't really mean this one particular photo, but all of them, that's been made, since they met.
"And will you?" Sirius didn't even move his head, so his words came out muffled.
"I will, what?"
"Model for me?"
"Like what, today?" Remus asked, assuming Sirius meant something more, but he never knew with him.
"Mm…" Sirius mumbled. "Always is enough."
"Always, you say," Remus laughed. It was such a long time, and it was too fast, to say anything, but in a certain sense it was truthful. Because while it lasted, it was always meant to be forever. "Always sounds good," Remus said, laying his cheek on Sirius' head. He was thankful. He loved how he felt comfortable with Sirius. He loved photos with him. He loved the way they matched each other. Like puzzles. Like two pieces of one photo.
Then Remus' phone lit up, getting some notification. And on the screen was a photo of Sirius beaming, looking at something, though that thing isn't visible on the wallpaper. Remus knew what was it, though, because the second part was on the screen of Sirius' phone. You couldn't know the second part, before knowing the first. And it wasn't whole, until two pieces were put together.
