During the summer holiday one year, Sirius suggested (more like forced) the other Marauders to let him pay for them to go away on holiday. In the end they decided to only go up to Skegness as Remus had been there before and decided it was less dangerous than going abroad. What Remus had not taken into consideration when thinking about how much trouble they could get in on holiday, alone, was that anything involving Sirius Black could become dangerous quickly. This was proven when within twenty minutes of arriving at the house James had been pushed in the pool fully clothed and when Sirius lent to give him a hand he was pulled in by James. Remus stood in the traditional mum pose, hands on hips, huffed at the two boys fighting in the pool and walked away to continue exploring the house. This is how Remus found the library and spent the rest of the day there until Sirius came and found him. Of course Sirius had rented a house with a library just for Remus.
