Chapter 6
Over the holidays when the Marauders had to return home, Remus would become like a ghost. He never responded to any of the other Marauders letters because he could not read them and he did not want the rest of them to find out he could not read. But when they all met up on the train on the way back to Hogwarts, Sirius always made sure to tell Remus everything that he had written in his letters and what James had written as well. Because Sirius knew, he always knew. But he did not want to embarrass Remus by telling him he knew so he always made sure to tell Remus everything that was in their letters to ensure he could keep up in conversations. He even helped come up with reasons why Remus had not replied to any of their letters over the holidays.
